- Commercial product 1 consists of a product of unknown oxidized amount with large non-polar fraction obtained by a modified catalyst process.
- Commercial product 2 consists of a product with a concentration of 10% modified terpenes.
- Polysorbate 80 was added to each of the above samples in a 3: 1 ratio of terpenes to surfactant and then the samples were diluted 1: 100 in water to have 0.75% terpenes in the final solution.
- the test consisted of adding 20 mL of the solutions to be tested in a beaker and with the help of a pipette add 5 mL of thinner (an oil derivative) the beaker is then capped and inverted and returned to its initial position three times in one. 2 to 4 seconds each move.
