この発明は、非接触充電システム、並びに非接触充電可能な給電スタンドおよびバッテリ搭載車両に関する。
電気モータによって走行する電気自動車(EV車)や電気モータとガソリンエンジンとの併用によって走行するプラグインハイブリッド車(PHV車)の普及が始まっている。これらEV車やPHV車にはバッテリが搭載されており、バッテリに蓄えられた電気エネルギーによってモータを駆動することにより車両の走行が行われる。
現在、EV車やPHV車用の充電システムとしては、駐車場内の駐車スペースに給電スタンドを設置し、車両が駐車スペースに駐車している間に充電を行う方式が一般的である。また、給電スタンドから車両への電力供給の方法としては、給電スタンドと車両を専用の充電ケーブルで接続する接触充電システムと、給電スタンドと車両を非接触状態に保ったまま電磁誘導または共鳴の原理を利用して電力供給を行う非接触充電システムとがある。
特許文献1には、非接触充電システムの一例が記載されている。この非接触充電システムでは、給電スタンド11の通信部16と車両21の通信部28との間で無線通信接続が確立された後、給電スタンド11の給電コイル13に充電用の高周波電力が供給され、この高周波電力が車両21の受電コイル23によって受電され、整合器26、整流器24、DC/DCコンバータ25を通って直流電力に変換された後、車両用バッテリ22に充電される。
現在、非接触充電システムのユースケースとして、車両が駐車スペースに駐車した後、一定時間が経過してから充電処理を開始することが考えられている。この際、待機中の車両を低消費電力のスリープ状態にしておき、充電処理の開始時に給電スタンドから起動要求信号を送信して車両を起動状態に復帰させることが考えられている。
給電スタンドから車両への起動要求信号としては、給電コイルから受電コイルに伝達される電力信号を用いるか、あるいは給電スタンドと車両との間でやり取りされる無線信号を用いることが考えられる。しかしながら、起動要求信号として給電コイルから受電コイルに伝達される電力信号を用いる場合には、車両がスリープ状態の時にも車両の電力受電に関連する部分を起動状態もしくは待ち受け状態にしておかなければならず、消費電力の観点から問題がある。また、起動要求信号として無線信号を用いる場合にも、車両がスリープ状態の時にも車両の無線通信に関連する部分を起動状態もしくは持ち受け状態にしておかなければならず、同じく消費電力の観点から問題がある。また、スリープ状態の車両を間欠起動して起動要求信号を受信することも考えられるが、給電スタンドから起動要求信号が送信されるタイミングが不明であるため、応答性の観点から問題がある。
この発明はこのような課題を解決するためになされたものであり、起動要求を低消費電力で待ち受けることができると共に、起動要求を受信した際には速やかに起動状態に復帰することができる、非接触充電システムを提供することを目的とする。
上記の課題を解決するために、この発明に係る非接触充電システムは、給電スタンドとバッテリ搭載車両とから構成され、バッテリ搭載車両は、受電コイルの後段に接続されて当該受電コイルによって所定の電力が受電される場合に所定の起動信号を出力する検波手段を備え、検波手段から所定の起動信号が出力されるとスリープ状態から起動状態に復帰する。
また、この発明に係る非接触充電可能な給電スタンドは、給電コイルに所定の電力を供給することによってバッテリ搭載車両をスリープ状態から起動状態に復帰させる。
また、この発明に係る非接触充電可能なバッテリ搭載車両は、受電コイルの後段に接続されて当該受電コイルによって所定の電力が受電される場合に所定の起動信号を出力する検波手段を備え、検波手段から所定の起動信号が出力されるとスリープ状態から起動状態に復帰する。
この発明に係る非接触充電システムによれば、起動要求を低消費電力で待ち受けることができると共に、起動要求を受信した際には速やかに起動状態に復帰することができる。

電力変換装置24は、電磁リレー241と、整合回路242と、整流回路243と、DC/DCコンバータ244とから構成されており、受電コイル23によって受電された高周波電力を直流電力に変換する。なお、電磁リレー241は、制御電圧が印加されない場合はオフ状態であり、制御電圧が印加されるとオン状態になる。
バッテリ25は、電力変換装置24から出力される直流電力を蓄える。
検波装置26は、MOSFETによって構成されるスイッチ261と、受動素子によって構成されるバンドパスフィルタ262と、オペアンプ等によって構成される増幅回路263と、ダイオード、キャパシタ、抵抗器等によって構成される検波回路264と、電圧コンパレータICによって構成される比較回路265とから構成されており、受電コイル23によって所定の単一周波数の高周波電力が受電されると、無線通信装置21の制御部211に対してHiレベルの起動信号を出力する。なお、スイッチ261は、例えばデプレッション型のMOSFETによって構成されており、制御電圧が印加されない場合はオン状態であり、制御電圧が印加されるとオフ状態になる。
(非接触充電システム100の充電開始時の処理)
次に、この実施の形態に係る非接触給電システム100の充電開始時の処理について、図3を参照して説明する。

非接触充電システム100の充電開始前において、電気自動車20は給電スタンド10が設置された駐車スペースSに駐車しており、消費電力を抑えた状態で給電スタンド10からの起動要求を待つ「スリープ状態」にある。
電気自動車20のスリープ状態においては、マイクロコンピュータによって構成される制御装置22と無線通信装置21の制御部211は、消費電力を抑えるスリープモードで動作している。このスリープモードにおいては、制御装置22から電力変換装置24の電磁リレー241に出力される制御電圧はゼロであり、電磁リレー241はオフ状態である。また、無線通信装置21の制御部211から検波装置26のスイッチ261に出力される制御電圧もゼロであり、スイッチ261はオン状態である。さらに、無線通信装置21の制御部211は、信号処理部212への電力供給も停止している。
このような状態から充電処理を開始する際には、給電スタンド10の制御装置12は、電気自動車20をスリープ状態から起動状態に復帰させるために、給電装置13を制御することによって給電コイル14に所定の単一周波数の高周波電力(起動要求信号)を供給する。なお、ここで供給される高周波電力は電気自動車20をスリープ状態から起動状態に復帰させるための起動用の小電力であり、この後に電気自動車20のバッテリ25への充電を行う際に供給される充電用の大電力とは異なる。
給電コイル14に単一周波数の高周波電力が供給されると、この高周波電力が電磁誘導または共鳴の原理によって電気自動車20の受電コイル23によって受電される。この際、上述したように電力変換装置24の電磁リレー241はオフ状態であり、検波装置26のスイッチ261はオン状態であるため、受電コイル23によって受電された電力はすべて検波装置26に入力される。
検波装置26に入力された高周波電力(図4(a)参照)は、スイッチ261を通ってバンドパスフィルタ262に入力され、上記所定の単一周波数以外のノイズ成分が除去された後、増幅回路263によって電圧増幅される。増幅回路263によって電圧増幅された高周波電力は、検波回路264に入力されて包絡線検波され、検波回路264からはほぼ一定の直流電圧が出力される(図4(b)参照)。比較回路265は、検波回路264の出力電圧と予め定められた閾値電圧とを比較し、検波回路264の出力電圧が閾値電圧よりも高い場合にのみ、Hiレベルの信号を出力する(図4(c)参照)。
検波装置265からHiレベルの信号が出力されると、この信号が無線通信装置21の制御部211の外部割り込み端子INTに入力され、この外部割り込みによって制御部211がスリープモードから起動モードに復帰する。起動モードに復帰した制御部211は、信号処理部212への電力供給を再開すると共に、制御装置22の外部割り込み端子INTに起動要求信号を送信することによって制御装置22を起動モードに復帰させ、また検波装置26のスイッチ261に制御電圧を印加することによってスイッチ261をオフ状態にする。起動モードに復帰した制御装置22は、電力変換装置24の電磁リレー241に制御電圧を印加することによって、電磁リレー241をオン状態にする。なお、スイッチ261をオフ状態にするのは、次に述べる充電用の高周波電力は起動用の高周波電力に比べて大電力であるため、そのような大電力によって検波装置26が破損するのを防止するためである。
上記一連の処理により、電気自動車20は低消費電力のスリープ状態から充電処理が可能な起動状態に速やかに復帰する。電気自動車20が起動状態に復帰すると、給電スタンド10の無線通信装置11と電気自動車20の無線通信装置21との間で無線通信接続が確立された後、給電スタンド10から電気自動車20への充電処理が開始される。
給電スタンド10から電気自動車20への充電処理においては、両者の間で各種制御信号が無線通信によってやり取りされながら、給電スタンド10の給電装置13から給電コイル14に充電用の高周波電力が供給され、この高周波電力が電磁誘導または共鳴の原理によって電気自動車20の受電コイル23によって受電される。この際、電力変換装置24の電磁リレー241はオン状態であり、検波装置26のスイッチ261はオフ状態であるため、受電コイル23によって受電された充電用の高周波電力はすべて電力変換装置24に入力される。
電力変換装置24に入力された高周波電力は、電磁リレー241を通って整合回路242に入力され、整合回路242によってインピーダンスの整合が行われた後、整流回路243によって直流電力に変換される。この直流電力がDC/DCコンバータ244によって昇圧もしくは降圧され、バッテリ25に充電される。
以上説明したように、この実施の形態に係る非接触充電システム100において、電気自動車20は、受電コイル23によって所定の単一周波数の高周波電力が受電される場合にHiレベルの起動信号を出力する検波装置26を備えており、この検波装置26からHiレベルの起動信号が出力されるとスリープ状態から起動状態に速やかに復帰する。電気自動車20のスリープ状態においては、制御装置22と無線通信装置21の制御部211がスリープモードで動作しているのみであり、この際の消費電力は数mW程度である。また、無線通信装置21の信号処理部212や電力変換装置24の電磁リレー241のような大電力を消費する部分はオフ状態である。これにより、電気自動車20は、給電スタンド10からの起動要求を低消費電力で待ち受けることができ、また給電スタンド10からの起動要求を受信した際には速やかに起動状態に復帰することができる。
その他の実施の形態.
上記の実施の形態において、給電スタンド10は、起動要求信号として例えば図5(a)に示されるような所定のデータパターンを有する高周波電力を供給してもよい。その際、検波装置26からは例えば図5(b)に示されるような所定のデータパータを有する起動信号が出力される。無線通信装置21の制御部211は、外部割り込み端子INTに最初のパルスが入力された時点で起動状態に一旦復帰し、引き続いて入力されるパルスのパターンと予め記憶されているデータパターン(図5(c)参照)とを照合し、両者が一致する場合には起動状態を継続し、両者が一致しない場合には再びスリープ状態に移行するようにしてもよい。
上記の実施の形態において、給電スタンド10は、起動要求信号として例えば図5(a)に示されるような所定のデータパターンを有する高周波電力を供給してもよい。その際、検波装置26からは例えば図5(b)に示されるような所定のデータパータを有する起動信号が出力される。無線通信装置21の制御部211は、外部割り込み端子INTに最初のパルスが入力された時点で起動状態に一旦復帰し、引き続いて入力されるパルスのパターンと予め記憶されているデータパターン(図5(c)参照)とを照合し、両者が一致する場合には起動状態を継続し、両者が一致しない場合には再びスリープ状態に移行するようにしてもよい。
Claims (6)
- 給電スタンドとバッテリ搭載車両とから構成される非接触充電システムであって、
前記バッテリ搭載車両は、
受電コイルの後段に接続されて該受電コイルによって所定の電力が受電される場合に所定の起動信号を出力する検波手段を備え、
前記検波手段から前記所定の起動信号が出力されるとスリープ状態から起動状態に復帰する、非接触充電システム。 - 前記検波手段の入力部には切り替え手段が設けられ、
前記切り替え手段は、前記バッテリ搭載車両がスリープ状態の際にはオン状態であり、起動状態の際にはオフ状態である、請求項1に記載の非接触充電システム。 - 前記バッテリ搭載車両は、前記受電コイルの後段に接続されて該受電コイルによって受電される高周波電力を直流電力に変換する電力変換手段をさらに備え、
前記検波手段は、前記受電コイルの後段に前記電力変換手段とは並列に接続される、請求項1または2に記載の非接触充電システム。 - 前記所定の起動信号は、所定のデータパターンを有する信号である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の非接触充電システム。
- 非接触充電可能な給電スタンドであって、
給電コイルに所定の電力を供給することによってバッテリ搭載車両をスリープ状態から起動状態に復帰させる、非接触充電可能な給電スタンド。 - 非接触充電可能なバッテリ搭載車両であって、
受電コイルの後段に接続されて該受電コイルによって所定の電力が受電される場合に所定の起動信号を出力する検波手段を備え、
前記検波手段から前記所定の起動信号が出力されるとスリープ状態から起動状態に復帰する、非接触充電可能なバッテリ搭載車両。
