Abstract
본 발명은 기관삽관 이중튜브에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 인체 기관 내부로 삽입되는 아우터 튜브; 및 상기 아우터 튜브의 내주면에 밀착되어 삽입 및 배출이 가능하고, 상기 아우터 튜브와 선단부에서 체결 및 분리되는 이너 튜브를 포함할 수 있다.
Description
본 발명은 기관삽관 이중튜브에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 중환자에게 새로운 기관삽관 튜브를 삽입하지 않고 이너 튜브만 교체하여 튜브 내의 이물질을 제거할 수 있는 기관삽관 이중튜브에 관한 것이다.
모든 중환자 치료에 있어서 원활한 호흡유지는 환자치료에 있어서 가장 기본적인 사항이다. 일부 중환자의 경우 기관삽관 튜브를 통한 호흡유지가 필요하다. 특히, 폐출혈(객혈), 폐부종, 폐렴 등의 환자는 주기적인 석션(suction)을 통해 피, 점액성 객담 등을 제거해 주지 않으면 피덩이나 점액성 부산물이 굳어서 기관삽관 튜브가 막히게 되는 문제가 발생할 수 있다.
또한, 이러한 기관삽관 튜브의 막힘의 원인이 되는 물질들은 세균증식의 원인으로 작용하기도 하므로 폐렴의 악화 및 발생에도 기여하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이러한 경우 환자는 호흡장애로 인한 여러 반응을 보이며 의식이 있는 경우에는 매우 힘든 상황에 처하게 된다.
현재로서는 이러한 환자에게 다시 새로운 기관삽관 튜브를 삽입해야 하며 이 같은 과정은 환자에게 큰 고통을 줄 수 있다. 특히, 의식이 명료한 환자 또는 복압상승으로 정맥압이 올라서 뇌압까지 상승시킬 수 있는 뇌부종 환자에게는 큰 위해로 작용할 수 있다. 따라서, 새로운 기관삽관 튜브의 교체 없이 기관삽관 튜브 내의 이물질을 제거할 수 있는 튜브의 개발이 필요한 실정이다.
따라서, 본 발명의 목적은 상기한 바와 같은 종래 기술의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것으로, 중환자에게 새로운 기관삽관 튜브를 삽입하지 않고 이너 튜브만 교체하여 튜브 내의 이물질을 제거할 수 있는 기관삽관 이중튜브를 제공하는 것이다.
상기한 바와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 본 발명은 인체 기관 내부로 삽입되는 아우터 튜브; 및 상기 아우터 튜브의 내주면에 밀착되어 삽입 및 배출이 가능하고, 상기 아우터 튜브와 선단부에서 체결 및 분리되는 이너 튜브를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 아우터 튜브 및 이너 튜브의 선단부에는 각각 서로의 체결을 위한 체결부가 구비될 수 있다.
상기 체결부는, 상기 아우터 튜브의 선단부에 구비되고, 체결홈이 형성되는 아우터 체결부; 및 상기 체결홈에 걸어지는 체결후크가 구비되는 이너 체결부를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 이너 튜브의 선단부에는 인공호흡기와 연결되는 호흡기 연결구가 구비될 수 있다.

상기 아우터 튜브의 말단부에는 풍선이 팽창가능하게 구비될 수 있다.
본 발명에 의하면, 중환자에게 새로운 기관삽관 튜브를 삽입하지 않고 이너 튜브만 교체하여 튜브 내의 이물질을 제거할 수 있으며, 아우터 튜브는 그대로 유지한 채 일정기간 마다 이너 튜브만 교체하면 되므로 환자에게 고통없이 편안한 호흡을 유지시킬 수 있다.

구체적으로 설명하면, 환자에게 기관삽관 튜브를 삽입한 상태에서 피덩이나 점액성 부산물이 굳어서 이너 튜브(20)에 막힘이 발생할 수 있다. 이때, 종래에는 전체 튜브를 외부로 배출시키고 새로운 기관삽관 튜브를 삽입하는 시술을 거쳤지만 본 실시예에서는 이너 튜브(20)에만 막힘이 발생하기 때문에 이너 튜브(20)만 교체하면 아우터 튜브(10)는 그대로 삽입된 상태를 유지할 수 있다. 따라서, 환자가 새로운 기관삽관 튜브를 교체하는 과정에서 오는 고통을 주고 2차적인 피해를 주는 것을 방지할 수 있다. 또한, 이너 튜브(20)는 상술한 바와 같이 아우터 튜브(10)의 내주면에 밀착되도록 구성하는 것이 바람직하다. 이는 기관의 막힘을 발생시키는 피덩이나 점액성 부산물이 아우터 튜브(10)와 이너 튜브(20)의 사이로 유입되는 것을 방지하기 위함이다.
또한, 이너 튜브(20)는 아우터 튜브(10)로 삽입을 원활하게 하기 위해 이너 튜브(20)의 말단부는 말단으로 갈수록 직경이 좁아지게 형성될 수 있다. 이와 같이 형성되면, 교체할 이너 튜브(20)를 아우터 튜브(10)에 보다 쉽게 삽입할 수 있으므로, 아우터 튜브(10)와 이너 튜브(20)의 결합이 용이해질 수 있다.
다시 도 1 및 도 2를 참조하면, 아우터 튜브(10) 및 이너 튜브(20)의 선단부(A)에는 각각 서로의 체결을 위한 체결부(16,22)가 구비된다. 체결부(16,22)는 별도의 사출물로 구성되어 아우터 튜브(10) 및 이너 튜브(20)의 선단부에 각각 구비될 수 있으나, 이에 제한되는 것은 아니고 아우터 튜브(10) 및 이너 튜브(20)와 일체로 형성될 수도 있다.
체결부(16,22)는 아우터 튜브(10)의 선단부(A)에 구비되고, 체결홈(18)이 형성되는 아우터 체결부(16); 및 체결홈(18)에 걸어지는 체결후크(24)가 구비되는 이너 체결부(22)를 포함할 수 있다. 체결홈(18)은 아우터 체결부(16)의 양측에 각각 요입되어 형성되고, 한 쌍의 체결후크(24)가 각각 체결홈(18)에 걸어진다. 물론, 본 실시예에서는 체결부(16,22)의 형태로서 체결홈(18) 및 체결후크(24)를 예로 들어 설명하였으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고 아우터 튜브(10) 및 이너 튜브(20)의 선단부를 체결할 수 있는 구성이라면 어떠한 것이라도 채용될 수 있다.
이상에서 살펴본 바와 같이 체결부(16,22)에 의해 아우터 튜브(10) 및 이너 튜브(20)의 선단부(A)가 체결된 상태를 유지한 상태에서 함께 인체 기관 내부로 삽입될 수 있다. 또한, 이너 튜브(20)가 아우터 튜브(10)에 체결된 상태이기 때문에 소정의 강성을 유지한 상태로 기관 내부의 굴곡부, 만곡부를 따라 삽입이 가능하다. 물론, 본 도면에는 구체적으로 도시되지 않았지만, 이너 튜브(20)의 내부에 별도의 스타일렛이 함께 삽입되어 기관삽관 이중튜브의 삽입을 가이드하도록 구성할 수도 있다.
이너 튜브(20)의 선단부(A)에는 인공호흡기(미도시)가 연결되는 호흡기 연결부(26)가 구비된다. 호흡기 연결부(26)는 이너 튜브(20)와 연통이 가능하도록 대략 링 형상으로 만들어질 수 있다. 호흡기 연결부(26)는 별개의 사출물로 이너 튜브(20)의 선단부(A)에 구비될 수도 있고, 이너 튜브(20)의 선단부(A)에 일체로 형성될 수도 있다.
한편, 아우터 튜브(10)의 내주면 또는 이너 튜브(20)의 외주면에는 이너 튜브(20)의 삽입 및 배출을 위한 윤활 코팅층(미도시)이 형성될 수 있다. 윤활 코팅층은 이너 튜브(20)가 부드럽게 삽입 및 배출이 될 수 있도록 형성된 것으로서, 아우터 튜브(10)의 내주면 또는 이너 튜브(20)의 외주면에는 친수성(hydrophilic) 성질을 가지는 물질이 코팅될 수 있다. 예를 들어, 이너 튜브(20)의 외주면에는 폴리우레탄(polyurethane), 비닐레진(vinyl resins), 폴리오레핀(polyolefins), 폴리에틸렌(polyethylene), 폴리프로필렌(polypropylene), 엘라스토모(elastomers), 폴리스틸렌(polystyrene), 폴리에스테르(polyesters), 폴리아크릴레이트(polyacrylates), 폴리메타크릴레이트(polymethacrylates), 실리콘레진(silicone resins) 또는 폴리아마이드(polyamides) 중 어느 하나의 물질이 코팅될 수 있다. 이와 같이 아우터 튜브(10)의 내주면 또는 이너 튜브(20)의 외주면에 윤활 코팅층이 형성되면 마찰을 감소시켜 이너 튜브(20)가 아우터 튜브(10)에 잘 삽입되게 하며 표면에 친수성 성질을 이용한 물을 묻혀서 삽입이 더욱 용이하도록 할 수 있다.
이하에서는 상기한 바와 같은 구성을 가지는 본 발명에 의한 기관삽관 이중튜브의 작동 과정을 상세하게 설명한다.
먼저, 시술자는 원활한 호흡유지를 위해 환자의 기관 내부로 이중튜브를 삽입할 수 있다. 이때, 이중튜브는 아우터 튜브(10) 및 이너 튜브(20)가 체결부(16,22)에 의해 체결된 상태이며, 이너 튜브(20)의 내부에는 소정의 강성을 가질 수 있도록 스타일렛(미도시)이 삽입된 상태이다.
이와 같이 이중튜브가 삽입된 상태에서 피덩이나 점액성 부산물이 굳어지면 이너 튜브(20)의 내부가 막히는 문제가 발생하게 된다. 이때, 시술자는 체결부(16,22)를 분리하고 이너 튜브(20)를 아우터 튜브(10)에서 배출시킨다. 이너 튜브(20)는 윤활 코팅층에 의해 보다 원활하게 배출될 수 있다.
이너 튜브(20)가 완전하게 배출된 상태에서 시술자는 새로운 이너 튜브(20)를 아우터 튜브(10)의 내부에 삽입시킨다. 이와 같이 본 실시예 에서는 새로운 이너 튜브(20)만 교체할 수 있기 때문에 환자가 전체 튜브를 교체하는 과정에서 고통을 받지 않아도 되며 안정적인 상태로 호흡을 유지할 수 있게 된다.
이상에서 본 발명의 실시예에 대하여 상세하게 설명하였지만 본 발명의 권리범위는 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고 다음의 청구범위에서 정의하고 있는 본 발명의 기본 개념을 이용한 당업자의 다양한 변형 및 개량 형태 또한 본 발명의 권리범위에 속하는 것이다.
Claims (8)
- 인체 기관 내부로 삽입되는 아우터 튜브; 및상기 아우터 튜브의 내주면에 밀착되어 삽입 및 배출이 가능하고, 상기 아우터 튜브와 선단부에서 체결 및 분리되는 이너 튜브를 포함하는 기관삽관 이중튜브.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 아우터 튜브 및 이너 튜브의 선단부에는 각각 서로의 체결을 위한 체결부가 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기관삽관 이중튜브.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 체결부는,상기 아우터 튜브의 선단부에 구비되고, 체결홈이 형성되는 아우터 체결부; 및상기 체결홈에 걸어지는 체결후크가 구비되는 이너 체결부를 포함하는 기관삽관 이중튜브.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 이너 튜브의 선단부에는 인공호흡기와 연결되는 호흡기 연결구가 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기관삽관 이중튜브.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 아우터 튜브의 내주면 또는 이너 튜브의 외주면에는 상기 이너 튜브의 삽입 및 배출을 위한 윤활 코팅층이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기관삽관 이중튜브.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 윤활 코팅층은 폴리우레탄(polyurethane), 비닐레진(vinyl resins), 폴리오레핀(polyolefins), 폴리에틸렌(polyethylene), 폴리프로필렌(polypropylene), 엘라스토모(elastomers), 폴리스틸렌(polystyrene), 폴리에스테르(polyesters), 폴리아크릴레이트(polyacrylates), 폴리메타크릴레이트(polymethacrylates), 실리콘레진(silicone resins) 또는 폴리아마이드(polyamides) 중 어느 하나의 물질에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기관삽관 이중튜브.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 이너 튜브의 말단부는 말단으로 갈수록 직경이 좁아지게 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기관삽관 이중튜브.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 아우터 튜브의 말단부에는 풍선이 팽창가능하게 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 기관삽관 이중튜브.
