Abstract

The device, an outer demountable luggage box for sport-type passenger automobiles having rear-engine and mid-engine layouts, does not have any similar patented or published solutions/analogues. A box, used as an additional place for storing luggage, solves the problem of increasing the convenience of using automobiles having the specified layout. The box does not reduce such automobile qualities as aerodynamics and controllability. Substantial features of the box include: the location thereof directly behind the automobile cabin, above the engine compartment; the form of panels of the box, which face the automobile body, being individualized and being identical to or closely mimicking, with small gaps, and corresponding to the profile of outer panels of the automobile body, resulting in the box closely abutting the automobile body or having small gaps between same and the automobile body.

Полезная модель относится к дополнительному оборудованию автомобилей, а именно, к съемным боксам (приспособлениям закрытого типа) для размещения багажа, наружно устанавливаемым на автомобилях.
