Abstract

The invention relates to a hairstyling instrument (100) for shaping and/or treating hair, which is provided in form of a nozzle configured such as to be attached onto a hairstyling device capable of blowing air, has at least one comb (120) and at least one brush (130, 131), and in which brush bristles are located near teeth of the comb such as to jointly catch a single lock of hair. The invention also relates to a related hairstyling method.

Description

INSTRUMENT AND METHOD OF HAIRSTYLE

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This presentation is about an instrument and a hairdressing method. The concept of "hairstyle" must be understood here in the broad sense of capilliculture and should not be interpreted as being limited to the arrangement of the hair. For the purposes of this presentation, the hairstyle thus encompasses the shaping and the treatment of the hair. Thus, the instrument and the proposed method are, in particular, suitable for hair treatment, styling, smoothing, volume development, or the application of products, especially coloring products and / or hair straighteners.

BACKGROUND

Hairdressing processes often require the hair to be held for heating, shaping, or applying a liquid or pasty product. Various known devices are provided for this purpose.

For example, US patent document 2009/199864 discloses a hair dryer having a tip provided with combs for smoothing hair. Specifically, two pairs of combs are distributed on either side of the air outlet of the hair dryer, and within each pair, the combs can slide relative to each other to grip the hair . Thus, a lock of hair can be stretched across the air outlet, which allows the hair dryer to heat and smooth this wick. However, such a nozzle for hair dryer has certain disadvantages. In particular, since the hair often has different lengths, some strands are too short to be held in tension between the pairs of combs. These too short wicks are ruffled by the air blown by the hair dryer, which goes against the purpose of hair straightening. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

The present disclosure relates to a hairdressing instrument for shaping and / or treating hair, in the form of a tip configured to be fixed on a hairdressing appliance, in particular a hair dryer, this wearing tip at least one comb and at least one brush. Bristles of the brush are close to the teeth of the comb so as to jointly engage the same lock of hair. In the remainder of this presentation, this hairdressing instrument will be called indifferently hairdressing instrument or mouthpiece.

A comb includes a set of teeth arranged in at least one row, in a circle, in a disordered manner, or in any other way. The teeth are sufficiently rigid and spaced apart to penetrate deeply into the hair and keep it captive, each bit being held between two adjacent teeth of the comb. In the case of rows of teeth, all the teeth of the same row are generally oriented in the same direction.

In the present disclosure including the claims, unless otherwise specified, we will speak of comb to designate a set of teeth. The word "the comb" may mean "a comb" or "a set of combs".

A brush comprises a plurality of bristles or pins, arranged in an orderly manner or not. The bristles or spikes can be fixed individually or in clumps, on a support or directly on the hairdressing instrument. The bristles or spikes can be of the same size or different sizes. To avoid injuring the scalp, the bristles or pins can be provided sufficiently flexible and or be fixed on a flexible support. The bristles may be monofilament or multi-filament fibers, natural or synthetic. The pins can be provided with round ends at their free end, so as not to hurt the scalp of the user. The brush may be flat, round, cylindrical or any shape. In the present disclosure including the claims, unless otherwise specified, we will speak of brush to designate a set of bristles or spikes. In addition, we will speak of "hair" to designate indifferently the bristles or pimples of a brush. On the other hand, the formulation "the brush" may mean "a brush" or "a set of brushes".

In general, a brush has a higher pile density than a comb, which makes it possible to treat the hair in finer locks than with a comb, and to exert greater tension and traction on the hair. This makes the brush particularly effective as a comb for shaping hair, including smoothing. On the other hand, unlike a comb, a brush penetrates quite difficultly and not deeply into the hair due in particular to the resistance of the tuft of hair to the penetration into the hair.

In the proposed solution, because the brush is close to the comb, the same lock of hair can be worked both by the comb and the brush. Thus, the comb engages deep into the wick and holds it between his teeth to facilitate the action of the brush. The brush engages the wick prepared by the comb and works much more effectively than a comb. The coupling between the brush and the comb allows an easy and optimal hair treatment.

The proposed hairdressing instrument is in the form of a tip for hairdressing apparatus. Therefore, the action of the hairdressing instrument is combined with the action of the hairdressing apparatus. In some embodiments, this hairdressing apparatus is an air blowing apparatus, for example a hair dryer or a blower brush. Thus, such a tip can be used for smoothing, the arrangement of hair, setting volume of hair, this list is not limiting. In addition, such a tip makes it possible to perform with one hand certain operations that, usually, were done with both hands. In some embodiments, the distal (free) ends of the comb teeth extend beyond the bristles of the brush. In other words, the teeth of the comb protrude from the bristles (or pins) of the brush. Thus, the comb penetrates before the brush into the hair to facilitate the subsequent action of the brush which, it allows to treat the hair in finer strands and with more tension and traction.

In some embodiments, bristles extend between teeth of the comb. More specifically, the bristles of the brush can extend strictly between teeth of the comb, or extend between the teeth of the comb but with a certain offset with respect to the teeth. In addition, when the tip has several rows of teeth, bristles may be provided between teeth of the same row.

In some embodiments, bristles are disposed between two rows of comb teeth. These two rows of teeth may be substantially parallel and / or rectilinear. Thus, at least a first row of teeth, bristles and at least a second row of teeth are arranged in this order. In particular, the tip may be symmetrical with respect to a median plane located between the two rows of teeth.

In some embodiments, the comb of the hairdressing instrument includes a plurality of rows of teeth connected to the main body.

The rows of teeth may be substantially parallel to each other.

In this case, the bristles may be located inside or outside rows of teeth on one side or both sides, symmetrically or not. In particular, the rows of teeth may be substantially parallel to each other.

In some embodiments, bristles extend on either side of the combs. In some embodiments, the comb is connected to the main body of the hairdressing instrument and is made in one piece with this main body.

In some embodiments, brush bristles extend out of the envelope surface of the comb teeth. The envelope surface of the comb teeth is a fictitious object, purely imaginary and geometric, containing all the teeth of the comb. When the teeth are arranged in rows, the bristles may extend on the outer sides of the rows of teeth.

In some embodiments, at least one brush may be rotated. Among other examples, the brush may be rotated by a motor, in particular an electric motor, or by the blown air.

In some embodiments, the hairdressing instrument includes means for varying the position of at least one brush relative to the comb teeth.

In some embodiments, at least one brush is removable (i.e. it can be detached from the rest of the instrument and, in particular, the comb). Thus, one or more brushes can be easily detached to be cleaned or changed. In particular, different types of brushes can be used depending on the type of hair and / or the desired use.

In some embodiments, the hairdressing instrument includes a tilting portion. The tilting portion may carry one or more combs or one or more brushes, or, preferably, an assembly comprising at least one comb and at least one brush.

In such embodiments, the locking of the inclined portion in an inclined position can be effected by conventional means and, for example, by clamping, screwing, by a ratchet system, etc. The inclination of the tilting part can facilitate the use of the hairdressing instrument, especially for sophisticated treatments of certain areas of the hair.

In some embodiments, the hairstyling instrument includes a plurality of brushes connected to the main body. These brushes may or may not be brushes of the same nature. All or part of these brushes can be removable.

In some embodiments, the hairstyling instrument includes at least one fluid inlet and at least one fluid outlet. The fluid inlet can be configured to be connected to a hairdressing appliance. The fluid outlet can lead to brush bristles. The fluid may be air, especially hot air. One or more channels can connect any number of inputs to any number of outputs.

In some embodiments, the fluid outlet of a channel opens upstream of the brush or at the level of the brush. Thus, during use, the fluid exits before the passage of the brush or directly on the part of the hair that is worked by the brush.

In some embodiments, the hairdressing instrument has a plurality of fluid outlets. This allows flexibility in the distribution of the fluid on the hair.

In some embodiments, the hairstyling instrument includes a product applicator, for example a sponge. In particular, the hairdressing instrument may include a brush on one side of the comb and the product applicator on the other side of the comb.

In some embodiments, the hairdressing instrument is configured to be mounted on a device capable of blowing air, including a hair dryer. It can then be used in particular for smoothing or shaping the hair.

In some embodiments, the comb may extend substantially parallel to a plane of the airflow blown by the apparatus. The airflow is thus transversely to the hair held in the comb, which makes the airflow more efficient.

The present disclosure also relates to an apparatus capable of blowing air, in particular a hair-dryer, equipped with a hairdressing instrument as previously described, the hairdressing instrument being at the level of the air outlet of the appliance. 'apparatus. The hairdressing appliance may also be a blower brush or any other hairdressing appliance capable of blowing air. The apparatus may be equipped with the hairdressing instrument as a separate end-piece, attached to one of its ends, or may have an outlet end having the characteristics of the hairdressing instrument, the latter forming a single block with the device.

The present disclosure also relates to a hairdressing method, in which a hairdressing apparatus equipped with a hairdressing instrument as previously described is used. This method can be used for shaping the hair and, in particular, styling, smoothing, detangling, creating a volume effect, etc. In this case, it is generally used as a hairdressing appliance an apparatus capable of blowing air such as a hair dryer.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION FIG. 1A is a side view of the hairdressing instrument according to a first embodiment of the invention and FIG. 1B is a view from above. As indicated above, the hairdressing instrument is in the form of a tip 100 configured to be fixed on a hairdressing appliance. The tip 100 has a connecting portion 112 or coupling for its assembly with a hairdressing appliance (see Figure 8). The joining portion 112 may comprise a thread, a means for splicing, or any other means for its assembly with the hairdressing appliance. Maintaining the tip on the hairdressing appliance can also be effected by simple friction between the joining portion 112 and the hairdressing appliance. The connecting portion 112 for connecting the tip 100 and the device on which it is mounted can take any shape: stirrup, straight branches, lugs intended to cooperate with corresponding housings, sleeve, etc.

The tip 100 carries a comb 120, which is seen in Figure 1A a tooth 120a extending perpendicular to a main axis A0 of the comb. The main axis of a row of teeth of a comb is an axis extending perpendicularly to the teeth, along the teeth of the comb. The main axis of a row of teeth may be rectilinear or curvilinear. The comb has at least two teeth. In particular, the comb may comprise at least four teeth or at least six teeth, it being understood that the number of teeth of the comb may vary in large proportions: the person skilled in the art knows indeed that the density of teeth, in function of their size and the length over which they are distributed, matters more than their number as such. In the example of Figure 1B, the comb 120 has six teeth 120a-120f. These six teeth 120a-120f are arranged in a single straight row of axis A0. However, any other positioning of the teeth could be envisaged, for example a disordered arrangement of the teeth, an arrangement of the teeth in a circle (or even in several concentric circles), an arrangement of the teeth in a geometrical shape or any combination of these arrangements.

On both sides of the comb 120 are arranged brush bristles forming two brushes 130, 131, respective main axes B0, B1. The bristles can be fixed directly on the endpiece 100 and form, by their arrangement, the brushes 130, 131, or the bristles may be fixed on a support to form the brushes 130, 131, said brushes being then attached to the tip 100. The main axis of a brush is an axis extending substantially perpendicularly with the hairs, along the proximal ends of the hairs; when the brush has a radial distribution of bristles about a central axis, the main axis of the brush is the central axis. When the Bristles of the brush are substantially parallel, the main axis of the brush is a longitudinal axis located at the proximal ends of the bristles.

The bristles of the brushes 130, 131 are close to the teeth of the comb 120. In this case, the brushes 130, 131 are in contact with the comb 120. In this example, the main axes B0, B1 of the brushes are parallel to the axis A0 main 120 comb. Alternatively, the main axis of a brush could form with the main axis A0 comb 120 an angle less than 30 °, preferably less than 20 °, preferably less than 10 °, of preferably less than 5 °.

The brushes 130, 131 are in this case two brushes of substantially semi-cylindrical shape, identical, but they could have another shape and differ in size, composition, shape or structure. They are placed symmetrically on either side of the plane of the comb 120 to facilitate the use of the tip 100 indifferently in one direction as in the other. The brushes 130, 131 are placed at an intermediate height of the comb 120. However, the brushes 130, 131 could be positioned at different heights along the comb 120, the height being measured along the teeth. The teeth of the comb 120, however, remain projecting relative to the bristles of the brushes 130, 131. In other words, the distal ends of the teeth of the comb 120 extend beyond the bristles of the brushes 130, 131.

Alternatively, the tip 100 may include means for varying the position of the brushes 130,131 along the comb 120. The positions of the brushes can then be set independently of each other or the same for all brushes. One can provide for example a slide along which the brushes can move, and a rack or pin to lock the brushes in the desired position. The slide may or may not extend along the entire height of the teeth of the combs. It is preferable to provide that when the brush is at a maximum height, the teeth of the combs still extend beyond the brushes. The tip 100 may be mounted on a device emitting a flow of fluid, for example hot air. The fluid can enter the tip 100 on the side of the joining portion 112. It can exit at the proximal end of the comb teeth by one or more openings 117 opening at the base of the comb 120, between the teeth. In this embodiment, as can be seen in Figure 1B, these openings 117 are between the teeth 120a-120f. The shape, arrangement and number of these openings may be adapted to the intended use for the mouthpiece. In addition, it is not necessary to provide an opening between each pair of adjacent teeth. Furthermore, the openings 117 could be located on either side of the row of teeth 120.

Figures 2 to 7B show the hairdressing instrument in other embodiments. In these figures, the elements corresponding or identical to those of the first embodiment will receive the same reference sign, to the number of hundreds, and will not be described again.

Figure 2 is a side view of the hairdressing instrument according to a second embodiment. Unlike the tip 100, the tip 200 has only one brush 230. The brush 230 is placed on one side of the comb 220, along said comb 220. In this second embodiment, the tip 200 is not symmetrical. The user can therefore use the tip 200 in one direction or the other to obtain different effects or treat part of the hair without treating the part of the hair left on the other side of the comb. Such an embodiment therefore provides greater versatility in the shaping of the hair.

Figure 3 is a side view of the hairdressing instrument according to a third embodiment. As shown in FIG. 3, the endpiece 300 comprises a sponge 340. The sponge 340 is placed along the comb 320. In this embodiment, the sponge 340 is positioned opposite the brush 330 relative to the sponge 340. comb 320; however, his position may vary depending on the intended use. The sponge 340 may be impregnated with a care product or treatment and deposit this product on the brush 330 and or on the hair during the passage of the tip 300 in the hair during use of the tip 300. The supply of the sponge 340 product can be performed via a channel (not shown) of the nozzle 300, including an internal channel whose outlet opens on the sponge and an inlet connected to a product dispenser.

Figure 4 is a side view of a hairdressing instrument according to a fourth embodiment. The tip 400 comprises, on its body, one or more slots 414 whose function will be described later. In this case, it comprises two housings 414. These housings 414 being diametrically opposed, only one is visible in Figure 4.

The tip 400 carries a comb comprising teeth arranged in two straight rows 420, 421. The rows of teeth 420, 421 are parallel, which means that their teeth are located in parallel planes. In particular, the respective main axes A0, A1 of rows of teeth 420, 421 are parallel.

The tip 400 further comprises a brush 430 housed between the two rows of teeth 420, 421. The brush 430 is substantially cylindrical in shape, of main axis B0. It is mounted at the proximal ends (roots) of the teeth of rows of teeth 420, 421, that is to say at the base of the comb. As will be detailed later, the brush 430 is in this case a removable brush.

As illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5, the bristles of the brush 430 extend substantially in directions perpendicular to the main axes A0, A1 of rows of teeth 420, 421. In particular, the bristles of the brush 430 extend substantially in the same direction as the teeth of the rows of teeth 420, 421, or form an angle with these teeth.

The composition and structure of the brush 430 will now be detailed with reference to FIG. 5. However, other compositions and other structures are possible for the brush 430. In the present example, the brush 430 comprises a support 438 on which the bristles 430a are mounted. The support 438 may be a stirrup formed by two metal wires twisted around each other. At the ends of the support 438 are flexible tabs 438a provided with lugs 439. The tabs 438a are flexible to allow the approximation or removal of the lugs 439. The lugs 439 are intended to be housed in the corresponding housing 414. It is possible to provide on the body of the nozzle 400 more housing than pins, to allow different positioning of the brush 430.

In addition, the tip 400 also includes guides 413 for guiding the lugs 439 of the brush 430 to the housings 414. The guides 413 are in this case guide grooves.

The installation of the brush 430 on the tip 400 can be carried out as follows. A user grasps the brush and squeezes the flexible tabs 438a so as to bring the lugs 439 closer together. In this position, the brush 430 can be engaged between the two rows of teeth 420, 421, then in an opening in the body of the tip located between the two rows of teeth 420, 421. The user can then release the tabs 438a. The flexibility of the tabs 438a pushes the lugs 439 towards the inner walls of the tip 430. The user can adjust the position of the brush 430 relative to the tip 400 until the lugs engage in the guides. 413. Then simply push the brush 430 along the guides 413 so that the lugs engage in the housing 414. The brush 430 is then mounted stably on the nozzle 400. The disassembly of the brush 430 may be carried out in a similar way, by pressing the lugs 439, if the lugs 438a are not accessible, to release the brush 430.

Optionally, the bristles 430a of the brush may be provided rotatably around the support 438. Thus, the brush may be driven in rotation, for example by an electric motor. The rotation of the bristles 430a of the brush 430 improves the attachment of the brush in the hair.

Figures 6A, 6B and 6C show a fifth embodiment of a hairdressing instrument. The tip 600 has teeth arranged in two rows of teeth 620, 621, respective main axes A0, Al. The rows of teeth 620, 621 are substantially parallel.

As can be seen in FIG. 6B, showing tip 600 seen from the front, and in FIG. 6C, showing tip 600 seen from above (that is to say in direction C of FIG. 6B). , the bristles of the tip 600 are joined into five brushes (tufts) 630, 631, 632, 633, 634. Each brush is disposed between two adjacent teeth. Each brush has all its bristles substantially parallel to each other. In addition, the brushes are arranged in staggered rows. More particularly, a first brush 630 is disposed between the teeth 621a and 621b of the row of teeth 621. A second brush 631 is disposed between the teeth 620b and 620c of the row of teeth 620. A third brush 632 is disposed between the teeth 621c and 621d of the row of teeth 621. A fourth brush 633 is disposed between the teeth 620d and 620e of the row of teeth 620. Finally, a fifth brush 634 is disposed between the teeth 621e and 621f of the row of teeth 621.

Thus, the brushes 631, 633 have a main axis B0 confused and the brushes 630, 632 and 634 are a main axis Bl confused. The main axis B0 coincides with the main axis A0 of the comb 620 and the main axis B1. is confounded with the main axis Al of the comb 621.

Instead of being provided between adjacent teeth of a row of teeth, as in the first embodiment, an opening 617 of the tip 600 according to the fifth embodiment is provided between the row of teeth 620 and the row. of teeth 621.

In addition, the tip 600 is particularly suitable for installation on an air blowing device, including a hair dryer. As can be seen in Figures 6A and 6B, to allow a better passage of the air flow by the nozzle 600, two openings 616 are arranged on either side of the body of the nozzle 600. These openings 616 allow the flow of air to bypass the brushes, which could be obstacles at the passage of air through the opening 617. Although the openings 616 have been presented in the context of this fifth embodiment, they could be provided in combination with any embodiment of a nozzle configured for be mounted on a device capable of blowing air. In addition, the number, shape and location of the openings 616 may vary depending on the embodiments. Figure 6A shows an inner channel 615 extending from one end of the joining portion 612 to the openings 616, 617.

Figures 7A and 7B show a hairdressing instrument 700 according to a sixth embodiment. The tip 700 has bristles whose arrangement forms a brush 730 of generally parallelepiped shape. The bristles of the brush 730 are substantially parallel to each other. As can be seen in Figure 7B, between the teeth of the comb 720, one can distinguish several sets of bristles 730a-730e bristles on the brush 730. The brush 730 is disposed between 2 rows of the comb. The brush 730 can be removable or fixed. In the case where it is removable, it can be mounted like the brush 430 or in another way.

The comb of the tip 700 has two rows of teeth 720, 721 which are parallel. The teeth of the rows 720, 721 and the bristles 730 to 730e of the brush 730 are mounted on a pivoting support 718 about an axis of rotation F. The angle of inclination of the row of teeth 720 is variable but according to a another embodiment, it could be fixed. The inclination of the pivoting support 718 can then be adjusted according to the type of intended use and the type of hair. The pivoting support 718 can be locked in an inclined position by locking means of known types (for example clamping, notch, etc.). In this case, the F axis is parallel to the axes AO, Al rows of teeth, but it might not be. On the other hand, instead of presenting a pivot connection between the pivoting support 718 and the body of the nozzle, the endpiece 700 could have a ball joint connection or any other type of connection.

As indicated by the curve arrow of FIG. 7A, the pivoting support 718 can tilt on either side of its straight position shown in solid lines. For example, the swivel bracket can tilt up to 90 ° on either side from its upright position. Alternatively, it can tilt up to 60 °, 45 ° or 30 ° on each side from its upright position.

Figure 8 shows a hair dryer 850 having a handle 854 and an air outlet 852 where a tip 800 similar to the tip of the fourth embodiment has been placed.

The tip 800 coupled to the hair dryer is used for shaping the hair mechanically. The comb hooks and holds the hair, while the combined action of the brush and hair dryer helps smooth hair, create volume effects and or place the hair in a directional way (hairstyle swept on the face, swept back, placement of hair before stylization, etc.). With the tip 800, the user can perform all operations with one hand, holding the handle 854.

Figure 10 shows a hair dryer 1050 similar to that of Figure 8, except that the hair dryer 1050 is made in one piece with the tip 1000. In other words, the tip 1000 is integrated into the body of the hair dryer 1050 and forms a single block with the hair dryer 1050.

It goes without saying that the hair dryer 850, 1050 could be adapted to be used with a nozzle according to another embodiment of the invention.

Furthermore, although the present invention is particularly suitable for the treatment of hair, it can also be work in other areas such as the treatment of animal, plant or synthetic fibers (weaving, animal care, etc.).

Finally, although the present invention has been described with reference to specific exemplary embodiments, modifications can be made to these examples without departing from the general scope of the invention as defined by the claims. In particular, individual features of the various embodiments illustrated / mentioned can be combined in additional embodiments. Therefore, the description and drawings should be considered in an illustrative and non-restrictive sense.

Claims

1. Hairdressing instrument (100) for shaping and / or treating hair, in the form of a nozzle designed to be fixed to a hair-styling device capable of blowing air, in particular dry -Hook, this nozzle comprising at least one air inlet connected to the blowing apparatus and at least one air outlet, and carrying at least one comb (120) and at least one brush (130, 131), and in which bristles of the brush are adjacent to the teeth of the comb so as to jointly engage the same lock of hair, and characterized in that:

The hairdressing instrument (100) according to claim 1, wherein the free ends of the teeth (120a-120f) of the comb (120) extend beyond the bristles of the brush (130, 131).

14. A hairdressing method in which a hairdressing apparatus (850, 1050) equipped with a hairdressing instrument (800, 1000) according to any one of claims 1 to 12 is used.

The hairdressing method of claim 14 wherein a hairdressing apparatus (850, 1050) according to any one of claims 1 to 14 is used for shaping the hair.
