Description

DESCRIPTION
A MULTIFUNCTIONAL OUTDOOR UNIT PANEL STRUCTURE
Field of the Invention
'
The present invention relates to a multi-functional outdoor unit panel structure having a holder structure which enables to hold the exchangers in a specific position in the outdoor unit in air conditioner systems. Background of the Invention
In order to hold the heat exchangers which are designed to be placed in an order within the outdoor unit, a U-shaped sheet metal part which connects the exchangers is attached from the upper part of the exchangers; and a foam is adhered to the surface of the sheet metal in order to prevent displacement of this sheet metal part from the place it is attached due to vibration or other reasons. Furthermore, in order to prevent the exchangers from sliding towards the front part, when U-shaped tubes are fitted to the heat exchanging fins of the exchanger, sheet metal parts are mounted in between them. These sheet metal parts are screwed to the front wall and left side panel thereby fixing the exchangers. These mounting and design methods realized during production increase use of extra parts and production times and thus cause increase in the costs. This, in turn, creates significant inefficiencies in production. Additionally, due to mounting of all of the metal parts used in the outdoor unit left part to each other, vibration- induced noise increases.
Use of the U-shaped sheet metal part and foam materials for holding the exchangers causes increase of mounting labor and production losses. The holder U-shaped sheet metal part may get displaced from the place to which it is mounted on the exchangers. Moreover, it produces a vibration- induced noise and causes a decrease in the product quality. Use of the upper sheet metal part for fixing the exchangers to the outdoor unit increases material costs. Screwing the exchangers to the front body sheet metal and the left side panel sheet metal both at the exchanger grouping line and product assembly line increases mounting labor. International patent document no. WO2008038632, an application in the state of the art, discloses an outdoor unit having a structure that holds and supports the heat exchanger tubes. The outdoor unit has a bottom frame, a generally L-shaped heat exchanger, and a casing. The generally L-shaped heat exchanger is disposed on the bottom frame. The L-shaped heat exchanger extends from the rear face side to the side face side of the outdoor unit. The casing covers at least one surface of the heat exchanger and has at least one support part. The support parts are formed integrally with the side of the casing so as to project to the inside of the casing. The support parts support the U-shaped tube portions located at the sides of the heat exchangers.
In Japanese patent document no. JPH0727370, an application in the state of the art, the side panel sheet is mounted to the condenser side sheet. An additional piece is designed in order to realize this mounting and this piece is screwed to the painted underframe via a screw. The holes on the screwed piece engage the C- shaped tubes at the sides of the condenser.
International patent document no. WO2013122451, an application in the state of the art, discloses a holder that holds inlet and outlet tubes of a heat exchanger. The holder (1) comprises of a flat portion, a retaining channel passing through the flat portion, and a guide portion. The inlet and outlet tubes are inserted through the tube inserting portion and the tubes are positioned by the holder. The holder prevents galvanic corrosion of the all-aluminum heat exchanger as well as preventing water from entering the compressor Japanese patent document no. JP2010065872, an application in the state of the art, discloses a body used in the outdoor unit. The body includes right and left supports shorter than the heat exchanger, upper supporting tools for connecting and fixing at the upper end of the heat exchanger, and a U-shaped fixing tool of the heat exchanger. Japanese patent document no. JP2003028462, an application in the state of the art, discloses an apparatus used in the outdoor unit of the air conditioner. The apparatus includes right and left retaining pawls detachably retained at the fixing unit and heat exchanger tubes. Summary of the Invention
The objective of the present invention is to provide an outdoor unit panel structure which enables to hold the exchangers together without requiring exchanger holder sheet metals and foams and prevents vibration-induced noise, and time and cost losses associated with mounting, and quality problems.

The outdoor unit panel structure (1) of the present invention, which enables to hold the exchangers (E) in the air conditioner outdoor units together and at a specific position without sliding, and prevents vibration-induced noise and time and cost losses associated with mounting, comprises
- at least one panel (2) which forms the surface of the outdoor unit that is close to the exchangers (E),
- at least one exchanger holder part (3) having at least one extension (4) which extends from the surface of the panel (2) corresponding to the exchangers (E) until the end of the upper side of the exchanger (E) such that it will be on the upper side of the exchangers (E) and at least one compression and engagement member (5) which extends perpendicular to the said extension (4) and which, by applying pressure on the surface of the exchanger (E) that is far from the panel (2), pushes the exchanger (E) towards the panel (2). In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the compression and engagement member (5) is S-shaped in order to apply pressure on the exchanger (E) surface in a more effective manner.
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one barrier is used which, upon being placed in between the panel (2) and the exchanger (E), enables to produce a specific distance between the panel (2) and the exchanger (E), and which thus prevents the heat transfers via the panel (2) that will affect the efficiency of the exchanger (E).
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the exchanger holder part (3) is produced as a single piece with the panel (2) in order to eliminate the need for mounting and demounting during placement of the exchangers (E).
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the exchanger holder part (3) is produced from a plastic derivative material having an elastic structure so as to enable it to hold two or more exchangers (E) together. In another embodiment of the invention, in order to enable holding two or more exchangers (E) together, the part of the extension (4) between the panel (2) and the compression and engagement member (5) is adjustable; and the extension (4) is passed through an opening on the panel (2) and by means of a positioner fitted to the holes thereon, it is mounted from the outside of the panel (2) by being limited at certain positions. The fact that the exchanger holder part (3) is integrated on the upper part of the plastic left side panel (2) enables two or more exchangers (E) to be held together from the upper parts thereof. Thanks to the design of the exchanger holder part (3), the exchangers (E) can be conveniently mounted upon passing the upper sides of the exchangers (E) through the aperture under the exchanger holder part (3). After the mounting is completed, full assembly is performed by positioning the exchangers (E) next to each other and compressing them. (Figure 1 - 2 - 3.)
By means of the plastic exchanger holder part (3), which is integrated on the left side outdoor unit panel (2) structure that is designed in place of the U-shaped metal exchanger holder sheet metal used in the state of the art, and which requires use of less parts; the exchangers (E) are compressed always at the same quality, they cannot get dislocated from the places they are positioned and the vibration- induced noise production problems are prevented.
Another embodiment of the outdoor unit panel structure (1) of the present invention; which enables to hold the exchangers (E) in the air conditioner outdoor units together and at a specific position without sliding, and which prevents vibration-induced noise, and time and cost losses associated with mounting; comprises
- at least one panel (2) which forms the surface of the outdoor unit that is close to the exchangers (E),
- at least one exchanger holder part (6) having at least one extension (4) which extends from the surface of the panel (2) corresponding to the exchangers (E) until the end of the upper side of the exchangers (E) such that it will be on the upper side of the exchangers (E); at least one compression and engagement member (5) which extends perpendicular to the said extension (4) and which, by applying pressure on the surface of the exchanger (E) that is far from the panel (2), pushes the exchanger (E) towards the panel (2); and at least one exchanger connection member (7) comprising at least one slot (8) which prevents sliding of the exchanger (E) by limiting it from the side thereof and which receives the U-shaped tubes (F) therein to ensure that the exchanger (E) does not contact the U- shaped tubes (F) located at the side thereof and at least one limitation surface (9) that limits movement of the exchanger (E) from the sides of the slot (8) close to the exchanger (E) and corresponds to the heat exchanging
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the slot (8) has a C form which enables the distance between itself and the U-shaped tubes (F) to be ~ 4-5 mm in order for it not to contact the U-shaped tubes (F) positioned therein.
In addition to enabling holding two or more exchangers (E) together from the upper parts thereof, the exchanger holder part (6) having an exchanger connection member (7) simultaneously enables to hold the exchanger (E); where the U- shaped tubes (F) that provide connection of the exchanger (E) tubes are located, from the side part thereof. While the slot (8) located at the part of the exchanger connection member (7), which corresponds to the U-shaped tubes (F), does not contact the U-shaped tubes (F), the limitation surface (9) located the side of the said slot (8) that is close to the exchanger (E) contacts the heat exchanging fins (H) and thereby prevents forward movement and sliding of the exchangers (E) (Figure 4 - 5 - 6). There is a permanent ~ 4-5 mm gap between the slot (8) and the U-shaped tubes (F). The slot (8) never contacts the U-shaped tubes (F) by means of its C shape that is compatible with the U-shaped tubes.
Since the exchanger holder sheet metal and foams in the conventional applications are not used, savings are obtained in material costs and production times. Due to the fact that the exchanger holder part (3, 6) is not displaced, which is different from the exchanger holder sheet metal, formation of vibration-induced noise and the related quality problems are enabled to be prevented. Due to the fact that the exchanger holder part (3, 6) is produced directly together with the outdoor unit panel, differing from the exchanger holder sheet metal, material costs and the long times required at the exchanger grouping mounting line and production line are reduced.
