Gefechtskopf und Sprengladungsmodul für einen derartigen Gefechtskopf Warhead and explosive charge module for such a warhead
The invention relates to a warhead for artillery / mortar explosive projectiles in particular with an explosive charge containing warhead casing. The invention further relates to an explosive charge module for such a warhead.
DE 10 2009 022 495 A1 discloses a method for producing a large-caliber explosive projectile and an explosive projectile produced therewith. For ease of manufacture, it is proposed that the projectile casing is in two parts, with a rear-side projectile casing section and a ring-shaped front projectile casing section containing the mouth-hole being produced in the direction of the longitudinal axis. Both parts can be connected to one another via a screw connection.
DE 10 201 1 010 183 A1 describes a blast-training projectile with a one-piece shell, the signature of an original explosive projectile. This shell is integrated into a multi-part cargo projectile shell.
A spin stabilized explosive projectile also discloses DE 10 2012 000 01 1 A1. In order to avoid cracking of the explosive charge during firing, a separating web extending in the direction of the central longitudinal axis is provided.
In DE 10 2005 050 973 A1 an explosive projectile is proposed which has a cavity which is filled with an explosive charge. To prevent cracking, a silicone intermediate layer is provided between the explosive charge and the inner surface of the projectile body.
A training projectile with a tube of plastic or metal surrounded by an inert material, which is partially filled with explosive, can be removed from DE 197 22 698 C1. An explosive projectile with a warhead casing, which includes an explosive charge of plastic-bound explosive, can be taken from DE 10 2014 103 105 B3.
The warhead is generally referred to as an active body containing an explosive charge. This may preferably be the warhead of an explosive projectile, but also, for example, a mine provided with an explosive charge or a missile provided with an explosive charge.
Usually, the explosive charge, in particular of blasting projectiles, is produced by injecting or pouring a corresponding explosive mixture into the warhead casing. It has proved especially in large caliber warheads problematic to perform a nondestructive examination of the explosive charge for defects such as voids, cracks or foreign bodies after the introduction of the explosive charge in the usually consisting of steel warhead casing. Because such a non-destructive material testing is usually carried out with the aid of X-ray methods, which often does not lead to clear results due to the metal structure of the warhead casing surrounding the explosive charge.
The invention has for its object to disclose a warhead, the explosive charge can be easily prepared and subjected to a safe and meaningful quality control, without thereby the explosive effect of the explosive charge is adversely affected. Further, an explosive charge module for use in such a warhead is disclosed.
This object is achieved with respect to the explosive charge module by the features of claim 1 and with respect to the warhead by the features of claim 10. Further, particularly advantageous embodiments of the invention disclose the dependent claims.
The present invention is based essentially on the idea of replacing the entire explosive charge produced by injecting or pouring an explosive mixture into the warhead casing by a plurality of smaller explosive charge modules containing correspondingly prefabricated explosive charge bodies, which are then joined together to form the total charge during an assembly or laboratory process. The explosive charge modules are structurally closed systems, which in turn each contain a corresponding part of the total explosive charge and in total form the total explosive charge.
Unlike the grenade in the US 373,459 A. The charge chamber of the high-explosive grenade is divided by a series of horizontal aperture into several chambers, which in turn are closed by the panels. Explosive charge modules are not shown here.
By using prefabricated explosive charge modules according to the idea according to the invention, it is now possible to carry out a non-destructive quality control of the individual explosive charge modules prior to their introduction into the warhead casing. This facilitates -bzw. makes it possible in the first place to make a definite statement about the quality of the entire explosive charge (explosive) of the warhead, since the warhead casing of the warhead, which is usually made of metal, does not adversely affect the X-ray measurements.
In addition, by using the explosive charge modules of the invention, the total cost of producing the warheads can be reduced. Due to the relatively low net explosive masses, for example for the production of explosive compacts, lower safety regulations must be observed than in the production of a warhead, in which the entire explosive charge is introduced into the warhead casing and then pressed.
The prefabricated explosive devices are assembled after appropriate control using a cargo-like structure of the projectile shell to complete warhead or explosive projectile.
Durch die Verwendung relativ kleiner Sprengladungsmodule ergeben sich außerdem folgende weitere Vorteile: The use of relatively small explosive charge modules also has the following additional advantages:
The explosive charge modules can be used for the laboratory of different types of bullets.
The size of the explosive charge modules can be adapted to the possibilities of production with regard to existing pressing and casting capacities. The size of the explosive charge modules can be adapted to the possibilities for production with regard to permissible net explosive masses of the production facilities.
The explosive charge modules are delaborable or removable from the warhead casing. They can be replaced after the end of the period of use or aging by new explosive charge modules.
The total explosive charge can be subdivided into smaller, optimally non-destructively testable and preferably identically designed small units which can be joined together to form an overall charge during an assembly or laboratory process. Different module sizes (content, volume) can also be combined with each other.
The explosive devices or modules can be made (one at a time) with a liner that supports these, among others. during storage, laboratory, load during shelling protects. Additional liners in the bullet interior are no longer necessary.
The explosive charge bodies of the explosive charge modules can be both explosive charge compacts and cast-in-place explosive charge bodies. Unless the explosive devices are protected by any additional sheathing, they themselves form the respective explosive charge module.
Advantageously, the respective explosive charge modules consist of an explosive charge body, which is enclosed by a protective cover (liner) of a combustible material, preferably plastic, and protects the explosive charge body during storage, laboratory work, loads. In addition, the liner allows by its protective effect larger shape and surface deviations of the enclosing warhead casing.
This liner can consist of different materials and strengths. However, it is crucial that the barrier formed by the liner between the explosive devices does not - or not significantly - limit the complete detonation of the total charge and, moreover, does not unnecessarily burden the payload volume. The wall thickness of the respective liner should therefore be as low as possible. In addition, the liner should be made of a material having the same or similar thermal expansion behavior as the explosive device enclosed by it.
The liner can also take over an important shielding function against unwanted stresses from the outside. Thus, the interface between the bottom and the shell in the construction of the warhead according to the invention frequently forms a weak point with regard to hazardous powder gases in the case of projectile acceleration.
The explosive projectile or the warhead thus consists of several components that are selected or put together in a special way. A bullet shell constructed of fragment-forming material, preferably in a cargo-like manner, or in another form for generating efficient splinters of suitable design, receives the prefabricated blasting modules in the interior. As projectile fuze known explosive head detonator can be used. These act by means of their detonator output on the ignition side first cell (explosive charge module). As a result, the total charge resulting from the modules (several, but at least two) completely detonates and, in interaction with the projectile casing, ensures the generation of effective splinters. The explosive charge body and thus the explosive charge modules are in turn individually Gestallt- and selectable. The size of the body / modules as well as the composition and thus the efficiency can be individually designed.
Es zeigen: Further details and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following, with reference to figures explained embodiments. Show it:
Fig.1 den Längsschnitt durch einen erfindungsgemäßen Gefechtskopf eines Sprenggeschosses mit sechs Sprengladungsmodulen; 1 shows the longitudinal section through a warhead of an explosive projectile according to the invention with six explosive charge modules;
2 shows the longitudinal section through a used in Figure 1, enlarged illustrated explosive charge module.
In FIG. 1, 1 denotes the warhead of a large-caliber explosive projectile (for example, with a caliber of 155 mm). The warhead 1 comprises a warhead casing 2 made of a fragment-forming material. At the warhead casing 2 a bullet bottom 3 is arranged on the rear side and at its ogival front end region 4 is a head fuse 5 is attached via a screw.
The warhead casing 2 encloses an interior, in which, in this embodiment, six explosive charge modules 6-1 1 are located, which directly adjoin each other axially and circumferentially supported on the inner wall 12 of the warhead casing 2. In this case, the explosive charge modules 6-10 essentially have the same shape and size in the present case. On the other hand, the explosive charge module denoted by 1 1 is adapted to the shape of the ogival front end region 4 of the warhead casing 2.
The structure of the explosive charge module 6 (and thus also the structure of the explosive charge modules 7-10) can be seen from FIG. It consists essentially of a cylinder-shaped explosive charge body 13 preferably produced by the casting process, for example of a mixture of hexogen and / or octogen and a plastic binder, and of a plastic shell 14 enclosing the explosive charge body 13.
To produce the warhead according to the invention in the embodiment shown in Figure 1, the (here) six explosive charge modules 6-1 1 geschoßbo- inserted into the warhead casing 2. In this case, the explosive charge modules 6-1 1 should support each other axially without gaps so that it may be necessary to provide shims or igniter-side shims (not shown) for equalizing manufacturing tolerances. Subsequently, the projectile bottom 3 at the rear end of the warhead casing 2 and (in the case of the explosive projectile) the head detonator 5 are attached to the ogival end portion 4 of the warhead casing 2.
Bezugszeichenliste Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described above. Thus, it may be advantageous, for example, if the cylindrical explosive charge modules have end faces which are designed such that frontally adjacent explosive charge modules can be axially connected to each other via a positive connection. Furthermore, there is the possibility that the explosive charge modules comprise more than one explosive charge body, so that two or more explosive charge bodies are integrated in the respective explosive charge module.
