Abstract
본 발명은 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상이 변화하는 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 극미량의 강산 물질에 노출되면 색상이 수초 내로 변화하는 염료와 이를 적용한 섬유제품에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료는 극미량의 강산에 반응하여 색상이 변화하며 다시 산 제거시 원래의 색으로 돌아가는 효과가 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 염료로 염색한 섬유는 높은 견뢰도를 나타내어 세탁이나 일광에 의한 변색 및 퇴색이 없고 이를 적용하여 방호복 또는 작업복을 제조시 산 오염 환경에 노출될 경우 작업자로 하여금 실시간으로 산 노출 여부를 인지하게 하는 기능을 제공함으로써 사고 현장에서의 2차 오염 및 유해환경 인자로부터 대형 사고를 예방할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
Description
본 발명은 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상이 변화하는 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 극미량의 산성 물질에 노출되면 색상이 수초 내로 변화하는 염료와 이를 적용한 섬유제품에 관한 것이다.
최근 산업 구조 및 작업환경이 변화함에 따라 유독성의 화학물질 사용량이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이에 따라, 산업 전반에 걸쳐 화학물질의 제조, 사용, 폐기처리의 문제가 대두되고 있으며, 작업 현장뿐만 아니라 다양한 경로를 통해서 화학물질이 존재하는 환경에 인체가 노출되어 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 유독성의 화학물질 사용에 따른 작업환경 변화를 감지할 수 있는 방호복의 개발이 미흡한 실정이다.
이에 pH 감지 변색염료를 적용하여 방호복을 제조하기 위한 시도가 있어 왔으나, 기존의 pH 감지 변색염료들은 섬유상에 염색이 되지 않는 문제점이 있었으며, 염색이 되더라도 염색이 된 상태에서는 pH 변화에 따른 색상의 변화작용이 소멸되는 문제점을 가지고 있었다. 또한 섬유상에서 세탁이나 일광 등에 의해 변색 및 퇴색되어 사용이 불가능한 문제점 역시 발견되었다.
이에 신규한 산 감지용 염료를 제조하기 위한 시도가 있어 왔으며 종래 문헌(Acta Crystallographica Section C Crystal structure Communications, 2009, 65(10), 543-548)에서는 [4-(페닐다이아제닐)아닐린]([4-(phenyldiazenyl)aniline]이 5-설포살리실산(5-sulfosalicylic acid) 또는 벤젠설폰산과 반응하여 전하-이동 검붉은 염료를 형성하는 것 및 [4-(페닐다이아제닐)아닐린]이 3,5-다이나이트로벤조산과 1:2 비이동 착화합물을 형성하는 것에 대해서 개시하고 있다. 그러나, 이들 구조는 특정한 산성 화합물과 결합에 의한 색변화에 대해서 기재하고 있을 뿐이며 pH 감지의 특성을 나타낸다고 보기는 어려운 실정이다.
한편, 불산은 불화수소(HF)의 수용액, 무색의 자극성 액체로 공기 중에서 발연하며, 유독성으로 표면 장력이 작고 침투력이 강하여 피부나 점막을 강하게 침투할 수 있기 때문에 취급에 주의를 요한다. 반응성이 풍부하고, 알칼리, 알칼리토금속, 납, 아연, 은 등의 금속 산화물, 수산화물 또는 탄산염과 반응하여 불화물을 생성한다. 도금에서는 불화욕으로서 주석, 납, 땜납, 크롬 등의 도금욕에 사용된다. 그 외, 유리의 부식, 주물의 모래 제거, 스테인리스의 표면처리, 도금의 전처리 등에도 이용된다.
현재 불산을 사용하는 업체의 경우 불산 누출에 대한 가스누출감지경보기 설치를 통한 사고 방지 시스템을 갖추고 있으며, 부가적으로 적외선카메라나 CCTV 등을 추가로 설치하여 사용하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 가스누출감지경보기란 가연성 또는 독성 물질의 가스를 감지하여 그 농도를 계시하고, 미리 설정해 놓은 가스 농도에서 자동적으로 경보가 울리도록 하는 장치를 말한다. 그러나 이는 허용 농도 이상의 농도가 되어야 작동하므로 현장 근로자의 즉각적인 대응에는 미흡한 실정이었다. 더 나아가 오작동 등의 문제로 인하여 중대한 사고를 발생하게 하는 원인이 되고 있다.
이에, 작업 현장에서 용이하게 산을 감지하여 근로자가 능동적으로 위험상황을 인식하고, 안전사고 및 2차 사고 피해를 예방할 수 있는 방호복 개발이 필요한 실정이다.
본 발명자들은 강산의 유해환경을 능동적으로 인식하여 안전사고 및 2차 사고 피해 예방이 가능한 방호복 개발을 위하여 산성 물질에 노출시 색상이 변화하고 섬유에 염색된 후에도 특성이 유지되는 염료를 개발하고자 노력하였으며, N,N-다이 알킬아닐린아조벤젠 염료를 사용하여 섬유에 염색시 극미량의 산성 물질에 대해서 색변화를 나타내며 염색시 우수한 견뢰도를 나타내는 것을 확인하여 본 발명을 완성하였다.
본 발명은 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상이 변화하는 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료에 관한 것이다.
또한, 본 발명은 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료로 염색한 섬유에 관한 것이다.
또한, 본 발명은 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료로 염색한 섬유를 포함하는 원사로 제조된 의복에 관한 것이다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명은, 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상이 변화하는 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료를 제공한다.

상기 식에서, n은 2 내지 11의 정수이다.
본 발명의 상기 화학식 1의 화합물은 N,N-다이C3-12알킬아닐린아조벤젠 구조의 말단 아미노기 치환기가 탄소수 3 내지 12의 알킬인 경우로서 특이적으로 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상이 변화하며 염료로 사용하여 섬유에 염색한 후에도 섬유에 염색되어 높은 견뢰도를 유지하여 산 첨가 또는 노출시 섬유의 색상을 변화하게 하는 특성이 있다.
상기 n에 있어서의 탄소수는 많을수록 극소수성 섬유에 대한 염색시의 염착성이 증가하고 각종 견뢰도가 증가하게 되지만, 상기 범위를 초과하여 탄소수가 많아지게 되면 분산 등의 염색작업에 어려움이 있으며, 상기 범위보다 탄소수가 작아지면 섬유에 염료가 염색되더라도 세탁, 마찰, 승화견뢰도가 극히 불량(거의 1등급 내지 2등급 수준)하여 사용이 불가능한 문제점이 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 의하면 N,N-다이알킬아닐린아조벤젠의 알킬기의 탄소수에 따른 염색시의 섬유의 색상강도를 측정하는 실험을 진행하였다. 그 결과 C3 알킬에서 섬유의 색상강도가 확연히 높아지는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 C6 알킬부터는 섬유의 색상강도가 조금씩 낮아지는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, C13 알킬 이후부터는 섬유의 색상강도가 낮아 염색작업에 어려움이 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 이는 알킬기의 길이가 길어질 경우 염료 분자사이즈가 섬유내로 침투할 수 있는 크기 이상으로 커지게 되어 염색이 잘 되지 않기 때문인 것으로 확인되었다.
또한, 상기 화학식 1의 N,N-다이C3-12알킬아닐린아조벤젠의 구조만이 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상의 변화를 나타내며, 예를 들어 니트로기나 할로겐 등의 다른 치환기가 치환되어 있을 경우에는 본 발명의 특징인 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상이 변화하는 성질이 나타나지 않는다.
상기 본 발명에 따른 염료는 일반적인 디아조화-커플링반응을 이용하여 합성이 가능하다. 디아조 성분으로 아닐린 화합물을, 염산을 첨가한 물에 용해시킨 후, 아질산나트륨(NaNO3)을 물에 용해시켜 첨가하여 디아조화한다.
커플러인 N,N-다이-C3-12 알킬-아닐린을 에탄올에 용해시키고 이를 상기 디아조화 용액에 첨가하여 반응시켜 상기 화학식 1의 화합물을 합성한 후, 여과 분리를 통해 원하는 염료를 수득한다. 본 발명의 염료는 단순한 공정에 의해서 제조가 가능한바 산업적으로 저비용, 고효율로 생산이 가능하다.
본 발명에 있어서, 첨가 또는 노출되는 산은 가스 형태일 수 있다. 보다 구체적으로 1기압(atm) 조건, 0℃ 내지 30℃의 실온에서 가스 형태일 수 있다. 또한, 액체 형태의 산에 의해서도 변색은 동일하게 발생하며 본 염료와 염료로 염색한 섬유에 있어서 모든 성능은 동일하게 발현되고 유지된다.
또한, 상기 산은 pH 0.1 내지 5 사이의 강산으로서 산의 종류에는 제한이 없으나 바람직하게는 염산, 불산, 황산 또는 이의 혼합물일 수 있다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에서는 염산으로 실험을 하였으나 불산가스에 의해서도 동일한 색상 변화가 일어날 수 있으며 황산은 비점이 높아 기체상으로 잘 되지 않으므로 온도를 가해서 기체상으로 전환할 경우 실험예에 기재된 결과와 동일한 색상 변화가 관찰될 수 있다.
본 발명에 있어서, 첨가 또는 노출되는 산의 농도는 최소 3 ppm 이상이면 상한에는 제한이 없이 극미량의 산 존재 하에 색상이 변화할 수 있다. 일례로, 산의 양은 3 ppm 내지 1000 ppm일 수 있다. 본 발명의 일 실험예에 의하면 3 ppm 정도의 극히 희박한 농도에서도 변색성을 나타내며 변색전후의 색차(△E)가 10을 나타내고 있어, 정상적인 시각을 가지고 있는 사람이라면 색변화를 용이하게 인지할 수 있었다.
본 발명에 있어서, 상기 염료는 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상이 변화한 후 산 제거 시 다시 처음의 색상으로 변화한다. 본 발명의 화학식 1의 모노아조계 염료의 본래 색상은 노란 색상을 나타내며 산 첨가 또는 노출시 빨간 색상으로 변화한다. 또한, 다른 색상의 색소(염료)와 혼용시 색상의 변화를 다양하게 할 수 있으며, 삼원색 염료로 사용될 수 있는 밝고 선명한 노랑색과 빨강색을 나타내는바 색의 혼용이 용이하다.
본 발명에 있어서, 상기 염료는 산 첨가 또는 노출시 5초 내지 30초 내에 색상이 변화한다. 본 발명의 일 실험예에 의하면 산 첨가 또는 노출시 5초 만에 변색성을 나타내며 30초 후에는 일반적인 사람이라면 용이하게 인지가 가능할 정도로 색상이 뚜렷하게 변화하였다.
또한, 본 발명의 일 실험예에 의하면 산 제거시 색상의 회귀속도는 변색속도에 비하면 다소 느리기는 하나 약 5분(300초)의 자연환기에 의해서 원래의 노란 색상으로 회복되었다. 더 나아가서 이러한 변색 특성은 계속적으로 일어날 수 있으며 산 가스 노출과 환기를 반복할 경우 반영구적으로 색변화 양상에 변화 없이 변색능력이 지속될 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명은 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상이 변화하는 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료로 염색한 섬유를 제공한다.
본 발명에 있어서 상기 섬유는 폴리에스테르 섬유, 나일론 섬유, 아세테이트 섬유, 아크릴 섬유, 폴리프로필렌 섬유 및 폴리에틸렌 섬유로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 어느 하나 이상의, 섬유 또는 혼방섬유일 수 있다.
본 발명에 있어서, 상기 화학식 1의 n이 2 내지 3의 정수일 경우, 폴리에스테르 섬유, 나일론 섬유, 아세테이트 섬유, 아크릴 섬유 또는 이들의 혼합 섬유의 염색에 용이하게 적용된다.
상기 화학식 1의 n이 2 내지 3의 정수일 경우 약한 소수성을 띠게 되는바 N,N-다이C3-4알킬아닐린아조벤젠은 약한 소수성을 띠는 폴리에스테르 섬유, 나일론 섬유, 아세테이트 섬유 또는 아크릴 섬유와 친화력이 강하여 용이하게 염색될 수 있다.
본 발명에 있어서, 상기 화학식 1의 n이 4 내지 11의 정수일 경우 폴리프로필렌 섬유, 폴리에틸렌 섬유 또는 이들의 혼합 섬유의 염색에 용이하게 적용된다.
상기 화학식 1의 n이 4 내지 11의 정수일 경우 강한 소수성을 띠게 되는바 N,N-다이C5-12알킬아닐린아조벤젠의 구조는 극도의 소수성을 띤 폴리프로필렌 섬유 또는 폴리에틸렌 섬유와 친화력이 강하여 용이하게 염색될 수 있다.
본 발명에 있어서, 상기 염료는 섬유에 염색 시 4등급 내지 5등급의 견뢰도를 나타낼 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 일 실험예에 의하면 폴리프로필렌 또는 폴리에틸렌 섬유에 염색 시 세탁, 마찰, 일광 견뢰도가 모두 4등급 내지 5 등급을 나타내므로 내구성이 아주 우수하다는 것을 확인하였다.
또한, 본 발명은 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상이 변화하는 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료로 염색한 섬유를 포함하는 원사로 제조된 의복을 제공한다.
본 발명에 있어서, 상기 의복은 방호복 또는 작업복일 수 있다.
본 발명에 있어서, 의복의 원사는 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상이 변화하는 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료로 염색한 폴리에스테르 섬유, 나일론 섬유, 아세테이트 섬유, 아크릴 섬유, 폴리프로필렌 섬유 또는 폴리에틸렌 섬유로 제조되거나 이들 섬유 이외의 다른 섬유를 포함하는 혼방섬유로 제조할 수 있다.
본 발명의 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료는 폴리에스테르 섬유, 나일론 섬유, 아세테이트 섬유, 아크릴 섬유, 폴리프로필렌 섬유 또는 폴리에틸렌 섬유에 염색이 잘 이루어지는바 이를 이용하거나 이들 섬유를 포함하는 혼방섬유를 사용하여 의복을 제작할 수 있다.
특히, 폴리프로필렌 섬유는 4.5g/d 내지 9.0g/d 정도의 강도와 25% 내지 60% 정도의 신도를 가지는 섬유로서, 현재 가장 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 폴리에스테르 섬유와 유사한 정도의 기계적 특성을 가질 뿐 아니라, 내약품성도 뛰어난 우수한 섬유소재이며 또한 섬유의 비중이 0.90 내지 0.92 정도로서 모든 섬유 중에서 가장 비중이 낮아 물에 뜨는 섬유소재로도 알려져 있으며 반도체 산업시설 등에서 사용되는 방호복 또는 작업복 등의 소재로 널리 알려져 있다.
그러나 폴리프로필렌 섬유는 특유의 극단적인 소수성으로 말미암아 물을 매체로 하는 염색시스템에서 어떠한 염료를 사용하더라도 염색이 거의 불가능하여 난염성 섬유로 알려져 있다.
이에 본 발명의 일 실험예에서는 상기 화학식 1의 n은 4 내지 11의 정수인 N,N-다이C5-12알킬아닐린아조벤젠 염료를 사용하면 폴리프로필렌 섬유를 노란 색상으로 염색시킬 수 있으며 높은 견뢰도를 나타내어 세탁이나 일광에 의한 변색 및 퇴색의 문제가 없다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 산 첨가 또는 노출시 색상이 빨간색으로 변화하여 산 조건을 감지하는 특성을 나타내었다. 더 나아가 산의 제거시 다시 원래의 색상으로 되돌아 가며 이러한 가역성이 반영구적인 것을 확인하였다.
따라서, 본 발명의 염료로 염색한 섬유는 미량의 산 존재시에도 색상이 수초 내로 변화하는바 방호복 또는 작업복 등의 의복을 제조할 경우 불산, 황산 또는 염산등의 누출을 작업자가 실시간으로 시각적으로 인지하여 사고를 예방 및 방지할 수 있다.
본 발명은 산 첨가시 색상이 변화하는 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료로서 극미량의 강산에 반응하여 색상이 변화하며 다시 산 제거시 원래의 색으로 돌아가는 효과가 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 염료로 염색한 섬유는 높은 견뢰도를 나타내어 세탁이나 일광에 의한 변색 및 퇴색이 없고 이를 적용하여 방호복을 제조시 산 오염 환경에 노출될 경우 작업자로 하여금 실시간으로 산 노출 여부를 인지하게 하는 기능을 제공함으로써 사고 현장에서의 2차 오염 및 유해환경 인자로부터 대형 사고를 예방할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

이하, 본 발명의 이해를 돕기 위하여 바람직한 실시예를 제시한다. 그러나, 하기의 실시예는 본 발명을 더욱 쉽게 이해하기 위해서 제공되는 것일 뿐, 실시예에 의하여 본 발명의 내용이 한정되는 것은 아니다.
하기에서 사용되는 화합물 중 출발물질과 반응시약은 Aldrich사의 시약을 사용하였으며, 모든 용매는 순수하여 건조나 정제 없이 사용하였다.
실시예 1: (E)-N,N-다이헥실-4-(페닐다이아제닐)벤젠아민 화합물 ((E)-N,N-dihexyl-4-(phenyldiazenyl)benzenamine; 일반명: N,N-dihexylanilineazobenzene) 염료의 제조
아닐린(0.01 mole)을 물 5 ml에 넣고 염산(35 %) 2.19 g을 첨가하여 아닐린을 용해시켰다. 아질산나트륨(0.01 mole)을 물 5 ml에 용해시킨 후, 0℃ 내지 5℃를 유지하면서 용해시킨 아닐린에 서서히 첨가하여 디아조화반응을 진행하였다. 이 용액에 프로피온 산 1.5 ml와 아세트산 8.5 ml를 추가하였다.
커플러인 N,N-다이헥실아닐린 (0.01 mole)을 에탄올 40 ml에 용해/유화시키고 커플러 용액을 디아조화 용액에 첨가하여 반응시켰다.
약 2시간 반응 후 반응을 종료시키고 증류수 200 ml를 첨가한 후 24시간 방치하여 반응용액으로부터 합성된 염료를 상분리시켰다. 분리된 아래층 증류수를 배출시켜 제거하고 다시 과량의 증류수를 사용하여 방치하는 과정을 3회 반복하여 정제하였다.
증류수를 사용한 정제가 끝나면 합성된 염료에 대한 용해도가 큰 벤젠을 이용하여 염료를 용해시켜 얻어내고, 벤젠 일부에 포함된 증류수를 제거한 후 최종적으로 벤젠을 증발시킨 후 하기와 같은 화학식 2로 표시되는 표제 화합물(수율 75%)의 염료를 수득하였다.

본 발명의 상기 화합물이 제조되었는지를 확인하기 위하여 HPLC, GC-MS, NMR 분석을 시도하였다. HPLC 결과 체류시간(retention time)이 약 6.5분에서 나타나는 피크가 상기 표제 화합물의 피크로서 합성 및 정제 후의 순도가 약 95%로 나타났다 (도 2). 또한, GC-MS 결과 상기 표제 화합물의 예상 분자량이 365이며 GC-MS결과 정확히 365에서 얻어지는 것을 확인하였다. 그 이하의 m/z에서 나타나는 피크들은 분열에 의해 발생하는 피크들로 확인되었다(도 3). 또한, NMR 결과 5종의 지방족 수소의 피크와 5종의 방향족 수소의 피크가 나타나는 것으로부터 표제 화합물이 제조되었음을 확인하였다 (도 4).
실시예 2: (E)-N,N-다이프로필-4-(페닐다이아제닐)벤젠아민 화합물 ((E)-N,N-dipropyl-4-(phenyldiazenyl)benzenamine; 일반명: N,N-dipropylanilineazobenzene) 염료의 제조
커플러로 N,N-다이프로필아닐린을 사용하였다는 것을 제외하고 상기 실시예 1에 기재된 방법과 동일한 방법에 의해서 하기와 같은 화학식 3으로 표시되는 표제 화합물의 염료를 수득하였다.

본 발명의 상기 화합물이 제조되었는지를 확인하기 위하여 GC-MS 분석을 시도하였다. GC-MS 결과 상기 표제 화합물의 예상 분자량이 281이며 GC-MS결과 정확히 281에서 얻어지는 것을 확인하였다. 그 이하의 m/z에서 나타나는 피크들은 분열에 의해 발생하는 피크들로 확인되었다.
실시예 3: (E)-N,N-다이부틸-4-(페닐다이아제닐)벤젠아민 화합물 ((E)-N,N-dibutyl-4-(phenyldiazenyl)benzenamine; 일반명: N,N-dibutylanilineazobenzene) 염료의 제조
커플러로 N,N-다이부틸아닐린을 사용하였다는 것을 제외하고 상기 실시예 1에 기재된 방법과 동일한 방법에 의해서 하기와 같은 화학식 4로 표시되는 표제 화합물의 염료를 수득하였다.

본 발명의 상기 화합물이 제조되었는지를 확인하기 위하여 GC-MS 분석을 시도하였다. GC-MS 결과 상기 표제 화합물의 예상 분자량이 309이며 GC-MS결과 정확히 309에서 얻어지는 것을 확인하였다. 그 이하의 m/z에서 나타나는 피크들은 분열에 의해 발생하는 피크들로 확인되었다.
실시예 4: (E)-N,N-다이펜틸-4-(페닐다이아제닐)벤젠아민 화합물 ((E)-N,N-dipentyl-4-(phenyldiazenyl)benzenamine; 일반명: N,N-dipentylanilineazobenzene) 염료의 제조
커플러로 N,N-다이펜틸아닐린을 사용하였다는 것을 제외하고 상기 실시예 1에 기재된 방법과 동일한 방법에 의해서 하기와 같은 화학식 5로 표시되는 표제 화합물의 염료를 수득하였다.

본 발명의 상기 화합물이 제조되었는지를 확인하기 위하여 GC-MS 분석을 시도하였다. GC-MS 결과 상기 표제 화합물의 예상 분자량이 337이며 GC-MS결과 정확히 337에서 얻어지는 것을 확인하였다. 그 이하의 m/z에서 나타나는 피크들은 분열에 의해 발생하는 피크들로 확인되었다.
실시예 5: (E)-N,N-다이헵틸-4-(페닐다이아제닐)벤젠아민 화합물 ((E)-N,N-diheptyl-4-(phenyldiazenyl)benzenamine; 일반명: N,N-diheptylanilineazobenzene) 염료의 제조
커플러로 N,N-다이헵틸아닐린을 사용하였다는 것을 제외하고 상기 실시예 1에 기재된 방법과 동일한 방법에 의해서 하기와 같은 화학식 6로 표시되는 표제 화합물의 염료를 수득하였다.

실시예 6: (E)-N,N-다이옥틸-4-(페닐다이아제닐)벤젠아민 화합물 ((E)-N,N-dioctyl-4-(phenyldiazenyl)benzenamine; 일반명: N,N-dioctylanilineazobenzene) 염료의 제조
커플러로 N,N-다이옥틸아닐린을 사용하였다는 것을 제외하고 상기 실시예 1에 기재된 방법과 동일한 방법에 의해서 하기와 같은 화학식 7로 표시되는 표제 화합물의 염료를 수득하였다.

실시예 7: (E)-N,N-다이노닐-4-(페닐다이아제닐)벤젠아민 화합물 ((E)-N,N-dinonyl-4-(phenyldiazenyl)benzenamine; 일반명: N,N-dinonylanilineazobenzene) 염료의 제조
커플러로 N,N-다이노닐아닐린을 사용하였다는 것을 제외하고 상기 실시예 1에 기재된 방법과 동일한 방법에 의해서 하기와 같은 화학식 8로 표시되는 표제 화합물의 염료를 수득하였다.

커플러로 N,N-다이데실아닐린을 사용하였다는 것을 제외하고 상기 실시예 1에 기재된 방법과 동일한 방법에 의해서 하기와 같은 화학식 9로 표시되는 표제 화합물의 염료를 수득하였다.

커플러로 N,N-다이운데실아닐린을 사용하였다는 것을 제외하고 상기 실시예 1에 기재된 방법과 동일한 방법에 의해서 하기와 같은 화학식 10으로 표시되는 표제 화합물의 염료를 수득하였다.

실시예 10: (E)-N,N-다이도데실-4-(페닐다이아제닐)벤젠아민 화합물 ((E)-N,N-didodecyl-4-(phenyldiazenyl)benzenamine; 일반명: N,N-didodecylanilineazobenzene) 염료의 제조
커플러로 N,N-다이도데실아닐린을 사용하였다는 것을 제외하고 상기 실시예 1에 기재된 방법과 동일한 방법에 의해서 하기와 같은 화학식 11로 표시되는 표제 화합물의 염료를 수득하였다.

커플러로 N,N-다이테트라데실아닐린을 사용하였다는 것을 제외하고 상기 실시예 1에 기재된 방법과 동일한 방법에 의해서 하기와 같은 화학식 15로 표시되는 표제 화합물의 염료를 수득하였다.

커플러로 N,N-다이펜타데실아닐린을 사용하였다는 것을 제외하고 상기 실시예 1에 기재된 방법과 동일한 방법에 의해서 하기와 같은 화학식 16으로 표시되는 표제 화합물의 염료를 수득하였다.

본 발명의 상기 화합물이 제조되었는지를 확인하기 위하여 GC-MS 분석을 시도하였다. GC-MS 결과 상기 표제 화합물의 예상 분자량이 617이며 GC-MS결과 정확히 617에서 얻어지는 것을 확인하였다. 그 이하의 m/z에서 나타나는 피크들은 분열에 의해 발생하는 피크들로 확인되었다.
실험예 1: 산감지용 변색 염료의 염색시 색상강도 측정 실험
상기 실시예 1 내지 10 및 비교예 1 내지 5에서 제조한 염료를 이용하여 폴리프로필렌 섬유에 염료농도로 5% o.w.f, 130 ℃ 염색온도로 1시간 동안 염색을 진행하였다.
본 발명에 따른 염료로 염색된 섬유의 색상강도는 datacolor SF 600 plus를 사용하여 섬유의 최대흡수파장인 420nm에서의 파장에서의 K/S로 측정하여 나타내었으며, 구체적으로 염색된 섬유의 최대흡수파장인 420nm에서의 표면반사율(R)을 측정하고 이를 하기 수학식 1에 의해 색상강도인 K/S로 나타내었다.

N,N-다이알킬아닐린아조벤젠 구조의 말단 아미노기 치환기가 탄소수 1 내지 15의 알킬인 경우에 대한 K/S 값을 측정하여 도 5에 나타내었다.
실험예 2 : 산감지용 변색 염료의 섬유별 염색성
상기 실시예 1에서 제조한 염료를 이용하여 폴리에스테르 섬유, 나일론 섬유, 아세테이트 섬유, 아크릴 섬유, 폴리프로필렌 섬유 및 폴리에틸렌 섬유에 염료농도로 5% o.w.f, 염색온도(염색온도는 섬유의 종류에 따라 별도로 정해지므로 하기 표 1에서 기재한 바에 따름)로 1시간 동안 염색을 진행하였다.
본 발명에 따른 염료로 염색된 섬유는 농색의 색상을 나타내었으며 특히, 내화학복으로 많이 사용되고 있는 폴리프로필렌 및 폴리에틸렌 섬유에서는 더욱 높은 친화력을 나타내서 아주 진한 극농색의 노란색상(yellow)을 나타내었다.

한편, 상기 실시예 1에 기재한 방법과 유사한 방법에 의해서 커플러로 N,N-다이헥실아닐린 대신에 N,N-다이메틸아닐린(0.01 mole) 또는 N,N-다이에틸아닐린(0.01 mole)을 사용하여 제조한 N,N-다이메틸아닐린아조벤젠 (비교예 1), 또는 N,N-다이에틸아닐린아조벤젠 (비교예 2) 염료를 이용하여 폴리에스테르 섬유, 나일론 섬유, 아세테이트 섬유, 아크릴 섬유, 폴리프로필렌 섬유 및 폴리에틸렌 섬유에 염료농도로 5% o.w.f, 염색온도(염색온도는 섬유의 종류에 따라 별도로 정해지므로 상기 표 1에서 기재한 바에 따름)로 1시간 동안 염색을 진행하였다. 그 결과 폴리에스테르 섬유, 나일론 섬유, 아세테이트 섬유 및 아크릴 섬유에는 염색이 이루어지나, 세탁, 마찰, 승화견뢰도가 극히 불량(거의 1등급 내지 2등급 수준)하여 세탁 후 바로 노란색이 사라지는 것을 확인하였으며, 폴리프로필렌 섬유 및 폴리에틸렌 섬유에는 염색 자체가 거의 되지 않는 것을 확인하였다.
실험예 3 : 산감지용 변색 염료로 염색된 폴리프로필렌 섬유의 산가스 농도에 따른 변색성
염산가스의 농도를 0 ppm 내지 1000 ppm으로 조절하여 실험예 2의 폴리프로필렌섬유에 대한 염산가스 농도에 따른 변색 염료로 염색된 섬유의 변색거동을 측정하였다. 그 결과를 하기 표 2에 기재하였다.
염산가스의 농도가 극히 희박한 농도에서도 변색성을 나타내었으며 변색전후의 색차(△E)가 10을 나타내었는바, 정상적인 시각이 있는 사람의 경우 색차(△E) 1 이상이면 인지가 가능하므로 실험의 최저농도인 3 ppm에서도 색변화가 인지가 가능하다는 것을 확인하였다.
또한 색상의 변화는 염산가스 감지 전에 노란색상(yellow)이던 것이 감지후 빨간색상(red)으로 변화하였다.

실험예 4 : 산감지용 변색 염료로 염색된 폴리프로필렌 섬유의 산가스 (3 ppm) 감지에 따른 변색속도
실험의 최저 염산가스 농도인 3 ppm 조건에서 변색시간을 조사한 결과 하기 표 3에 나타낸 바와 같이 염산가스 노출시 5초 만에 변색성 (△E)이 3 이상을 나타내었으며 약 30초 후에는 9 이상의 색차를 나타내었는바 일반적인 사람에 의해 쉽게 인지가 가능하였다.

실험예 5 : 산감지용 변색 염료로 염색된 폴리프로필렌 섬유의 산가스 (3 ppm) 감지 후 산가스 제거(자연환기)시 색상의 회귀속도
상기 실시예 1에서 제조한 염료는 염산가스 감지에 의해 노란색상(yellow)이던 것이 감지 후 빨간색상(red)으로 변화했다가 염산가스의 제거(자연환기)시 다시 원래의 노란색상(yellow)으로 돌아가는 현상을 나타내었다. 이에 따라서 색상회귀속도를 조사하여 그 결과를 표 4에 나타내었다. 원래의 색상으로의 회귀는 염산가스 감지시 변색속도에 비해서는 다소 시간이 걸리나 약 5분(300초) 정도의 자연환기에 의해 원래의 노란색상(yellow)으로 완전히 회복되는 성질을 나타내었다.
실험예 6 : 산감지용 변색 염료로 염색된 폴리프로필렌 섬유의 산가스 (3 ppm) 감지 가역반복성
상기 실시예 1에서 제조한 염료는 염산가스 감지에 의해 노란색상(yellow)이던 것이 감지 후 빨간색상(red)으로 변화했다가 염산가스의 제거(자연환기)시 다시 원래의 노란색상(yellow)으로 돌아가는 현상을 나타내었다. 이에 따라서 상기 실시예 1에서 제조한 염료의 가역반복성을 측정하기 위하여 염산가스 노출과 환기를 50회까지 반복하면서 변색성(△E)을 조사하였다. 그 결과 반복횟수가 50회까지 진행되더라도 초기의 색변화거동이 거의 변화되지 않음을 하기 표 5에 나타낸 바와 같이 확인할 수 있었다.
실험예 7 : 산감지용 변색 염료로 염색된 폴리프로필렌 섬유의 내구성(견뢰도) 측정
상기 실시예 1에서 제조한 염료는 폴리프로필렌 섬유에 염색된 후 섬유상에서 하기와 같은 세탁, 마찰, 일광에 대한 내구성(견뢰도)을 조사하였다. 견뢰도의 경우 등급이 높을수록 우수한 특성을 보이는 것으로서 최대 5등급의 수치를 가지지만 사실상 5등급을 판정하는 경우는 드물며 상업적으로 최고의 견뢰도를 보이는 경우 4등급 내지 5등급으로 나타낸다.
본 발명의 산감지용 변색 염료로 염색된 폴리프로필렌 섬유는 하기 표 6에 나타낸바와 같이 세탁, 마찰, 일광 견뢰도가 모두 4등급 내지 5등급을 나타내므로 내구성이 아주 우수함을 확인할 수 있었다.
또한, 폴리프로필렌 섬유와 폴리에틸렌 섬유의 염색성이나 염색 거동은 거의 동일한바 상기의 실시예 1의 산감지용 변색 염료로 염색된 폴리프로필렌 섬유 대신에 실시예 1의 산감지용 변색 염료로 염색된 폴리에틸렌 섬유를 사용하여 동일한 실험을 수행하면 상기 결과와 동일·유사한 실험값을 나타낸다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
실시예 1에서 제조한 염료를 이용해 염색을 하여 견뢰도를 분석한 결과, 세탁 및 마찰견뢰도에서는 모두 4등급 이상의 우수한 등급으로 나타내었고, 승화 견뢰도는 2등급 내지 3등급을 나타내었다. 일광견뢰도에서는 4등급 이상의 우수한 등급을 나타내었다.
상기 실시예 1에서 제조한 염료로 염색한 폴리프로필렌을 염산가스에 노출시키면 노란색상(yellow)이던 것이 감지 후 빨간색상(red)으로 변화함을 시각적으로 관찰할 수 있었고, 염산가스 제거시 노란색상(yellow)으로 되돌아감을 관찰할 수 있었다.
상기 결과를 바탕으로 합성된 최종 염료를 방호복에 적용하면 산성가스에 노출시 작업자가 즉각적으로 이를 인지하여 작업시 유해환경으로부터 피해예방이 가능하다는 것을 알 수 있다.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 산은 가스 또는 액체 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는, 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 산은 pH 0.1 내지 5 사이의 강산인 것을 특징으로 하는, 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 산은 염산, 불산, 황산 또는 이의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는, 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 첨가 또는 노출되는 산의 농도는 3 ppm 내지 1000 ppm인 것을 특징으로 하는, 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 염료는 산 첨가 또는 노출 시 색상이 변화한 후 산 제거 시 다시 처음의 색상으로 변화하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 염료는 산 첨가 또는 노출 시 5초 내지 30초 내에 색상이 변화하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 산 감지용 모노아조계 염료.
