Definitions
- the present invention relates to an air suction duct which enables the air required for combustion in all vehicles to be sucked from.the outer environment.
- the filters used for this purpose has a limited lifecycle. Not changing the filter whose life is completed affects the combustion negatively.
- the drivers prefer to use filter for long time due to the cost of the filter.
- the objective of the present invention is to provide an air suction duct which treats the air sucked from outer environment with a pre-cleaning process before transferring to the filter.
- a further objective of the present invention is to provide a combustion system which decreases filter costs.
- Figure 1 is the perspective view of the air suction duct.
- Figure 2 is the perspective view of the combustion system.
- the inventive combustion system (1) comprises:
- connection pipe (3) one end of which is connected to the engine (2)
- the inventive combustion system (1) relates to transferring air which is sucked from the atmosphere and required for combustion to the filter (4) by subjecting to a pre-cleaning process and then to the engine (2).
- the air suction duct (6) comprises
- corrugated wall (62) which is present on both sides and which has preferably S shape,
- the air rich in dust and moist sucked from outer environment so that combustion is realized in the engine (2) first passes through the air suction duct (6).
- the air entering through the suction port (61) hits to the corrugated walls (62) which are present on both sides of the air suction duct and (6) preferably S shaped.
- the air which is sucked loses heat with the effect of hitting.
- the water vapor in the air condenses while losing heat and moves downwards the inclined wall (64) and it is directed outside from the air suction duct (6).
- Heavy dust particles in the air slow down by hitting to the corrugated walls (62) on both sides of the air suction duct (6) during suction.
- the dust particles which are slowing down move downwards the inclined walls (64) and they are directed outside.
- the air which is mostly cleaned from moist and dust reaches to the filter (4) by passing through the intermediate channel (5).
- the air purified in the filter (4) is transferred to the engine (2) via the connecting pipe (3) and used for combustion in the engine (2)
- the air suction duct (6) sends the air entering through the suction port (61) without turbulence by means of the corrugated walls (62) and the inclined walls (64) to the intermediate channel (5) from the transfer port (65).
- the air sucked from the outer environment is subjected to pre-cleaning process by means of the air suction duct (6) structure before being transferred to the filter (4).
- the air sucked through the suction port (61) holds the moist and dust in the air by means of the corrugated walls (62) and thus the life of the filter (4) is prolonged.
- the user can use the filter (4) for longer time by means of the air coming to the filter (4) comprising less moist and dust via the inclined walls (64). Besides, it is ensured that the air transferred to the engine (2) for combustion is less moist by means of the air suction duct (6).
- the filter (4) costs are decreased and the life of the filter (4) is prolonged by means of the corrugated walls (62) of the air. suction duct (6) in the combustion system (1). This situation enables the air suction duct (6) to be a preferred product in long term and customer satisfaction.
