Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a slotted tube and rod mining anchor which is used as rock reinforcement in the underground works of the mining industry, is placed in the perforations made in the roof, shoulders and lateral walls of the underground tunnels of The mining industry and used in conjunction with accessories such as the cement cartridge or resin cartridge and the mining plate, which are inserted at the same time in the drilling where the grooved pipe and rod mining anchor will be installed.
  • the mining anchor of grooved pipe and rod is manufactured to be installed in the perforations previously made in the rock where the grounds are of poor quality and cause rock shedding, which puts at risk the health of the personnel operating in this type of underground works , the mining anchor of grooved pipe and rod is installed to avoid the landslides of rock blocks which put the health of personnel entering the mine at risk.
  • the problem presented by the mechanical anchors used in the underground works of the mining industry is that they are easily damaged by the mass (weight) of the blocks of the different sizes and that it generates a low resistance for the reinforcement of the rock mass that is it requires to avoid the irrigation in the health of the personnel that enters the underground works of the mining industry.
