La chaîne de fermeture à glissière est caractérisée en ce que : chaque rangée d'éléments de fermeture à glissière comprend une pluralité de premiers éléments (3) et de seconds éléments (4) ; le premier élément (3) comprend une section latérale avant (31) qui est disposée sur le côté avant de l'élément en bande et une section latérale arrière (32) qui est disposée sur le côté arrière de l'élément en bande (2) ; et une section de réception (34) qui reçoit le second élément complémentaire (4) lorsqu'une maille est formée sur l'extrémité distale du premier élément (3) entre la section latérale avant et la section latérale arrière.
