Description

The invention relates to a machine tool, in particular a laser processing machine, with a movable along a guide rail workpiece or tool carriage having at least two movable on the guide rail guide carriage, and with a mitverfahrenden with the carriage cover for covering the located between the two carriage rail section of the guide rail , In the context of the invention, a machine tool is also understood to mean a laser processing machine in which a laser beam emerges from a laser processing head which is fastened to a movable carriage and forms the laser tool.
Um zu verhindern, dass Schmutz zwischen den beiden Führungswagen auf dieCarriage of a machine tool are often performed with ball or roller circulation units along a guide rail. The guide systems used consist of the guide rail and one or more carriages. Larger tool slides are generally guided on two guide rails, with two or more guide carriages being arranged on each guide rail. The carriages are sealed to the guide rail by radial and Längsabstreifer to prevent ingress of dirt in the carriages. Dirt falling onto the guide rail outside of the slides is taken along by the outer radial wipers of the guide carriages and deposited at the end of the rail. This deposited on the rail end dirt is no longer run over by the carriage and thus can not get into a carriage. Dirt that gets between two guide carriages can not be transported to the end of the rail, but is taken along by the radial scraper of one carriage when the carriage moves in one direction and deposited on the guide rail. If the carriage moves in the opposite direction, the dirt from the Radialabstreifer the other carriage is taken. Thus, the dirt between the carriages is pushed back and forth. By displacing the dirt, the radial wipers are heavily loaded and wear out quickly, so that the dirt on the radial wipers passes into the interior of the guide carriages and the complete guide carriages can fail. It can be very complicated to exchange the carriages. To prevent dirt between the two carriages on the
Führungsschiene gelangt, sind Abdeckhauben bekannt (z.B. JP2006317006), die an den beiden Führungswagen montiert sind und den dazwischen befindlichen Guide rail passes, covers are known (for example, JP2006317006), which are mounted on the two carriages and the intervening
Cover rail section of guide rail. The covers are usually made of steel and have inside rubber lips as longitudinal and Radialabstreifer. at However, the relatively complex assembly and disassembly of the cover can cause damage to the cover or the adjacent construction.
It is the object of the invention to facilitate in a machine tool of the type mentioned in the assembly and disassembly of the cover and to prevent damage to the cover or the adjacent construction.
This object is achieved in that the cover is not connected to the carriage part, which is slidably guided on the guide rail between the two carriages and is taken along with a displacement of the carriage in each case by the rear carriage in the direction of displacement in the direction of displacement.
According to the invention the cover is a separate part, which is mounted independently of the carriage and its two carriages on the guide rail, which greatly facilitates the disassembly of the cover and the carriage from the guide rail and excludes damage to the cover or the adjacent construction. The cover encloses the guide rail and seals to the guide rail out, so that no dirt can get on the located between the two carriages rail section of the guide rail. The cover can be formed of any material, in particular of metal.
Preferably, the cover is guided displaceably in lateral guide grooves of the guide rail. In particular, the cover is not guided on the same guide grooves on which the carriages are performed, but in addition to the running surfaces, which are provided for guiding the carriage. This prevents dirt particles or cutting dust digging into the material of the cover and exercise an effect similar to sandpaper, so that the cover wears. The cover surrounds the guide rail laterally and completely covers with its two side walls at least the lateral guide grooves of the two carriages.
Vorzugsweise liegt die Abdeckhaube unter elastischer Aufspreizung der beiden freien Längsenden ihrer Seitenwände an der Führungsschiene an, damit die Preferably, the cover is under elastic spreading of the two free longitudinal ends of its side walls on the guide rail, so that the
Longitudinal edges of the free longitudinal ends are pressed against the guide rail as sealing edges or Längsabstreifer. Particularly preferably, the cover is made of plastic. Due to the elastic spring effect of the plastic sealing edges of the cover are pressed against the guide rail and compensated for any wear. Covering plastic, cost after amortization of the tool, considerably cheaper than other known solutions. Plastic covers are also considerably lighter than known covers, whereby the mass of the machine structure to be accelerated is reduced. Plastic covers can be made of only one material, which combines all the different requirements for the functions of the cover in itself. For example, a cover made of steel requires a sealing lip made of rubber, since steel has too little spring effect to achieve a sealing effect with respect to the guide rail.
The cover is advantageously formed by a plastic extruded profile which is snapped onto the guide rail or pushed over the end-face rail end on the guide rail.
Further advantages of the invention will become apparent from the claims, the description and the drawings. Likewise, the features mentioned above and the features listed further can be used individually or in combination in any combination. The embodiment shown and described is not to be understood as an exhaustive list, but rather has exemplary character for the description of the invention.

In Fig. 1, a processing machine 1 is shown in perspective, showing the structure of a laser cutting machine as an embodiment of a laser processing machine. Further exemplary embodiments are, for example, a laser welding machine or a combined punching / laser cutting machine. This processing machine 1 has, for example, a CO2 laser, diode laser or solid-state laser as laser beam generator 2, a movable laser processing head 3 and a workpiece support 4. In the laser 2, a laser beam 5 is generated, which is guided by means of a (not shown) optical fiber cable or (not shown) deflecting mirror from the laser 2 to the machining head 3. On the workpiece support 4, a workpiece 6 is arranged. The laser beam 5 is directed onto the workpiece 6 by means of a focusing optic arranged in the machining head 3. The processing machine 1 is also supplied with process gases 7, for example oxygen and nitrogen. Alternatively or additionally, compressed air or application-specific gases may be provided. The use of the individual gases depends on the material of the workpiece 6 to be machined and on the quality requirements of the cut edges. Furthermore, a suction device 8 is present, which is connected to a suction channel 9, which is located under the workpiece support 4. The process gas 7 is supplied to a process gas nozzle 10 of the machining head 3, from which it emerges together with the laser beam 5. As shown in FIG. 2, the machining head 3 is fastened to a carriage 12 which can be moved along a horizontal guide rail 11 and has two guide carriages 13a, 13b which are movably guided on the guide rail 11. A covering hood 14 made of plastic, which is entrained with the carriage 12, serves to cover the rail section of the guide rail 11 which is located between the two guide carriages 13a, 13b. The cover 14 is connected neither to the carriage 12 nor to the guide carriages 13a, 13b, but to a separate part, which is displaceably guided on the guide rail 11 between the two carriages 13a, 13b. During a displacement of the carriage 12, the cover 14 is in each case of the rear guide carriage in the direction of displacement in Verschieberich- taken along. If, for example, in FIG. 2 the carriage 12 is displaced to the right, for example, then the covering hood 14 is carried along to the right by the left guide carriage 13a. If the carriage 12 is moved to the left, the cover 14 is taken from the right guide carriage 13b to the left.
As shown in Fig. 3, the cover 14 surrounds the guide rail 1 1 side and covers with its two side walls 15, the lateral running surfaces 16 of the guide rail 1 1, along which the carriages 13 a, 13 b are guided, completely. The side walls 15 have inwardly projecting or angled guide projections 17, which engage in lateral guide grooves 18 of the guide rail 1 1 and are guided displaceably therein. The carriages 13a, 13b and the cover 14 are therefore guided on different guides of the guide rail 1 1. The cover 14 is preferably a plastic extruded profile, which can be plugged by means of its guide projections 17 either from the top of the guide rail 1 1 latching or pushed over the end-side rail end on the guide rail 1 1.
The cover 14 lies, with elastic spreading of the two free longitudinal ends 19 of its side walls 15, with the longitudinal inner edges 20 of the free Längsen- the 19 on the guide rail 1 1 at. The longitudinal inner edges 20 thus form sealing edges or Längsabstreifer which are pressed by the restoring force of the elastically spread longitudinal ends 19 of the guide rail 1 1.
