- the charging is carried out to the maximum value without the steps (d) and (e), and if it is larger than the set voltage, (d) and ( e) consists of a structure for performing the steps.
- a rack to be charged or discharged is determined by measuring the voltage of each rack, and the rack is automatically determined according to the determination result.
- step (c) it is necessary to set a constant voltage in order to determine a voltage deviation that may cause a deterioration and explosion of the cell, and the set voltage value may be set in various ways according to the type and capacity of the battery. It is possible, for example, may range from 10% to 30% of the state of charge (SOC), and specifically 20% of SOC is preferred.
- SOC state of charge
- step (d) as a reference voltage, an average voltage of each rack may be set, and the reference voltage may be specifically expressed as a voltage range value / 2 + voltage minimum value, and the range voltage is a voltage maximum value ⁇ It can be expressed as the voltage maximum value.
- the process of adding a discharge counter if the voltage value of each rack of the step (d) is less than the reference voltage, the process of adding a discharge counter, if the voltage value of each rack is greater than the reference voltage, the process of adding a charge counter Can be done.
- rack voltage balancing may be performed by sequentially discharging from the rack of the maximum voltage to the rack of the minimum voltage, and exceptionally
- the charging counter may be charged instead of being discharged.
- the charging counter and the discharge counter of the step (e) may be sequentially processed from the rack of the voltage minimum value to the rack of the voltage maximum value.
- the charging counter and the discharge counter of the step (e) may be sequentially processed from the rack of the voltage minimum value to the rack of the voltage maximum value.
- the voltage deviation of each rack The battery pack can be initialized stably by reducing.
- step (e) when charging each rack, when reaching the same voltage as the rack having a higher voltage than the rack currently charging in the charging process, in parallel
- the charging process may be performed at the same time. Specifically, when the voltage of the rack having the minimum voltage reaches the voltage of the second lowest rack, the minimum rack and the second lowest rack are charged. It can be configured to perform the charging at the same time by connecting in parallel and to continuously perform the charging to the rack of the voltage maximum value in the same manner.
- step (e) in the case of discharging each rack, when the rack reaches the same voltage as the rack having a lower voltage than the currently discharging rack, the process of discharging at the same time by parallel connection can be performed. Specifically, when the voltage of the rack of the maximum voltage to perform the first discharge reaches the voltage of the rack of the second highest value, the parallel discharge of the rack of the maximum voltage and the rack of the second high value to discharge simultaneously And continue to discharge to the rack of voltage minimum in the same manner.
- the present invention also provides a battery pack, characterized in that the voltage balanced by the above rack voltage balancing method.
