Abstract
The invention relates to an illumination device (1) for a vehicle, having a housing (10) and a closing disk (11), out of which light (12) can be outcoupled from the lighting device (1) via a front panel region (13) of the closing disk (11), which light (12) can be generated by way of at least one illumination means (14) accommodated in the housing (10), wherein the closing disk (11) has an adhesive foot (15) extending essentially circumferentially from the contour of the front region (13), by way of which the closing disk (11) is accommodated in the housing (10) sealing the same on the front side. A dirt sensor (16) is provided configured for detecting a degree of contamination of the outer surface (17) of the front region (13) of the closing disk (11). For an advantageous array of the dirt sensor (16), the adhesive foot (15) according to the invention is configured having a recess (18) that deviates locally from an edge contour of the front region (13), within which the dirt sensor (16) is arranged in the front region (13) on the rear side of the closing disk (11).
