Abstract

The present invention relates to a bioreactor for performing bioprocess reaction. The bioreactor comprises of a body (20), a heating means (22), a gas sparger (24), a plurality of baffle plates (30), a piston (32), and an oscillator (34).The body (20) comprises of parts (36) that is detachable, thereby provides variable volumes adjustable to a required reaction volume. The bioreactor also provides enhanced mixing provided by oscillating baffle plates. Most illustrative figure is Figure 1.
