For clarity, the following description focuses on 3GPP LTE and 3GPP LTE-A systems, but the technical spirit of the present invention is not limited thereto.
- a structure of a radio frame will be described with reference to FIG. 1.
- uplink / downlink signal packet transmission is performed in units of subframes, and one subframe is defined as a predetermined time interval including a plurality of OFDM symbols.
- the 3GPP LTE standard supports a type 1 radio frame structure applicable to frequency division duplex (FDD) and a type 2 radio frame structure applicable to time division duplex (TDD).
- the downlink radio frame consists of 10 subframes, and one subframe consists of two slots in the time domain.
- a time taken for one subframe to be transmitted is called a TTI (transmission time interval).
- one subframe may have a length of 1 ms and one slot may have a length of 0.5 ms.
- One slot includes a plurality of OFDM symbols in the time domain and a plurality of resource blocks (RBs) in the frequency domain.
- RBs resource blocks
- a resource block (RB) is a resource allocation unit and may include a plurality of consecutive subcarriers in one slot.
- the number of OFDM symbols included in one slot may vary depending on the configuration of a cyclic prefix (CP).
- CP has an extended CP (normal CP) and a normal CP (normal CP).
- normal CP normal CP
- the number of OFDM symbols included in one slot may be seven.
- the OFDM symbol is configured by an extended CP, since the length of one OFDM symbol is increased, the number of OFDM symbols included in one slot is smaller than that of the normal CP.
- the number of OFDM symbols included in one slot may be six. If the channel state is unstable, such as when the terminal moves at a high speed, an extended CP may be used to further reduce intersymbol interference.
- one subframe includes 14 OFDM symbols.
- the first two or three OFDM symbols of each subframe may be allocated to a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), and the remaining OFDM symbols may be allocated to a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH).
- PDCCH physical downlink control channel
- PDSCH physical downlink shared channel
- Type 2 radio frames consist of two half frames, each of which has five subframes, downlink pilot time slot (DwPTS), guard period (GP), and uplink pilot time slot (UpPTS).
- DwPTS downlink pilot time slot
- GP guard period
- UpPTS uplink pilot time slot
- One subframe consists of two slots.
- DwPTS is used for initial cell search, synchronization or channel estimation at the terminal.
- UpPTS is used for channel estimation at the base station and synchronization of uplink transmission of the terminal.
- the guard period is a period for removing interference generated in the uplink due to the multipath delay of the downlink signal between the uplink and the downlink.
- one subframe consists of two slots regardless of the radio frame type.
- the structure of the radio frame is merely an example, and the number of subframes included in the radio frame or the number of slots included in the subframe and the number of symbols included in the slot may be variously changed.
- FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating a resource grid in a downlink slot.

- Each element on the resource grid is called a resource element.
- One resource block includes 12 ⁇ 7 resource elements.
- the number of NDLs of resource blocks included in a downlink slot depends on a downlink transmission bandwidth.
- the structure of the uplink slot may be the same as the structure of the downlink slot.
- FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating a structure of a downlink subframe.
- Up to three OFDM symbols at the front of the first slot in one subframe correspond to a control region to which a control channel is allocated.
- the remaining OFDM symbols correspond to data regions to which a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) is allocated.
- Downlink control channels used in the 3GPP LTE system include, for example, a Physical Control Format Indicator Channel (PCFICH), a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH), and a Physical HARQ Indicator Channel.

- a plurality of PDCCHs may be transmitted in the control region.
- the terminal may monitor the plurality of PDCCHs.
- the PDCCH is transmitted in an aggregation of one or more consecutive Control Channel Elements (CCEs).
- CCEs Control Channel Elements
- the CCE is a logical allocation unit used to provide a PDCCH at a coding rate based on the state of a radio channel.
- the CCE corresponds to a plurality of resource element groups.
- the format of the PDCCH and the number of available bits are determined according to the correlation between the number of CCEs and the coding rate provided by the CCEs.
- the base station determines the PDCCH format according to the DCI transmitted to the terminal, and adds a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) to the control information.
- the CRC is masked with an identifier called a Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI) according to the owner or purpose of the PDCCH.
- RNTI Radio Network Temporary Identifier
- the cell-RNTI (C-RNTI) identifier of the terminal may be masked to the CRC.
- a paging indicator identifier P-RNTI
- the PDCCH is for system information (more specifically, system information block (SIB))
- SI-RNTI system information RNTI
- RA-RNTI Random Access-RNTI
- RA-RNTI may be masked to the CRC to indicate a random access response that is a response to the transmission of the random access preamble of the terminal.
- the uplink subframe may be divided into a control region and a data region in the frequency domain.
- a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) including uplink control information is allocated to the control region.
- a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) including user data is allocated.
- PUCCH physical uplink control channel
- PUSCH physical uplink shared channel
- one UE does not simultaneously transmit a PUCCH and a PUSCH.
- PUCCH for one UE is allocated to an RB pair in a subframe. Resource blocks belonging to a resource block pair occupy different subcarriers for two slots. This is called a resource block pair allocated to the PUCCH is frequency-hopped at the slot boundary.
- the transmitted packet is transmitted through a wireless channel
- signal distortion may occur during the transmission process.
- the distortion In order to correctly receive the distorted signal at the receiving end, the distortion must be corrected in the received signal using the channel information.
- a method of transmitting the signal known to both the transmitting side and the receiving side and finding the channel information with the distortion degree when the signal is received through the channel is mainly used.
- the signal is called a pilot signal or a reference signal.
- the reference signal may be divided into an uplink reference signal and a downlink reference signal.
- an uplink reference signal as an uplink reference signal,
- DM-RS Demodulation-Reference Signal
- SRS sounding reference signal
- DM-RS Demodulation-Reference Signal
- CSI-RS Channel State Information Reference Signal
- MBSFN Multimedia Broadcast Single Frequency Network
- Reference signals can be classified into two types according to their purpose. There is a reference signal for obtaining channel information and a reference signal used for data demodulation. In the former, since the UE can acquire channel information on the downlink, it should be transmitted over a wide band, and even if the UE does not receive downlink data in a specific subframe, it should receive the reference signal. It is also used in situations such as handover.
- the latter is a reference signal transmitted together with a corresponding resource when the base station transmits a downlink, and the terminal can demodulate data by performing channel measurement by receiving the reference signal. This reference signal should be transmitted in the area where data is transmitted.
- the CRS is used for two purposes of channel information acquisition and data demodulation, and the UE-specific reference signal is used only for data demodulation.
- the CRS is transmitted every subframe for the broadband, and reference signals for up to four antenna ports are transmitted according to the number of transmit antennas of the base station.
- CRSs for antenna ports 0 and 1 are transmitted, and for four antennas, CRSs for antenna ports 0 to 3 are transmitted.
- FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating a pattern in which a CRS and a DRS defined in an existing 3GPP LTE system (eg, Release-8) are mapped onto a downlink resource block pair (RB pair).
- a downlink resource block pair as a unit to which a reference signal is mapped may be expressed in units of 12 subcarriers in one subframe ⁇ frequency in time. That is, one resource block pair has 14 OFDM symbol lengths in the case of a general CP (FIG. 5A) and 12 OFDM symbol lengths in the case of an extended CP (FIG. 5B).
- FIG. 5 shows a position on a resource block pair of a reference signal in a system in which a base station supports four transmit antennas.
- resource elements RE denoted by '0', '1', '2' and '3' indicate positions of CRSs for antenna port indexes 0, 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
- the resource element denoted as 'D' in FIG. 6 indicates the position of the DMRS.
- Channel State Information-RS Channel State Information Reference Signal
- the CSI-RS is for an LTE-A system supporting up to eight antenna ports in downlink and is a reference signal for channel measurement purposes.
- the advantage is that CRS differs from that for channel measurement and data demodulation, so CSI-RS does not need to be transmitted every subframe like CRS.
- CSI-RS is used in transmission mode 9, and DMRS is transmitted for data demodulation.
- CSI-RS can be transmitted through 1, 2, 4, 8 antenna ports, 15 for 1 antenna port, 15, 16, 4 for 2 antenna ports 15 to 18 antenna ports and 15 to 22 antenna ports may be used for eight antenna ports.

- the CSI-RS generated through Equation 1 may be mapped to an RE for each antenna port using Equation 2 below.
- Equation 2 May be determined according to the CSI-RS configuration shown in Table 1 below.
- Table 1 CSI reference signal configuration Number of CSI reference signals configured 1 or 2 4 8 (k ', l') n s mod2 (k ', l') n s mod2 (k ', l') n s mod2 Frame structure type 1 and 2 0 (9,5) 0 (9,5) 0 One (11,2) One (11,2) One (11,2) One 2 (9,2) One (9,2) One (9,2) One 3 (7,2) One (7,2) One (7,2) One (7,2) One 4 (9,5) One (9,5) One (9,5) One (9,5) One 5 (8,5) 0 (8,5) 0 6 (10,2) One (10,2) One 7 (8,2) One (8,2) One 8 (6,2) One (6,2) One 9 (8,5) One 10 (3,5) 0 11 (2,5) 0 12 (5,2) One 13 (4,2) One 14 (3,2) One 15 (2,2) One 16 (1,2) One 17 (0,2) One 18 (3,5) One 19 (2,5) One Frame structure type 2 only 20 (11,1) One (11,

- the CSI-RS refers to a CSI-RS subframe configuration shown in Table 2 below, but may be transmitted in a subframe that satisfies Equation 3 below.
- Equation 3 Is the period in which the CSI-RS is transmitted, Is the offset value, Is the system frame number, Denote slot numbers, respectively.
- CSI-RS-Config-r10 CSI-RS configuration information element
- 'antennaPortsCount' is the number of antennas through which the CSI-RS is transmitted (choose among 1, 2, 4, and 8), and 'resourceConfig' is assigned to a RE in one RB on a time-resource frequency.
- Location, 'subframeConfig' is transmitted in which subframe, and the CSI-RS EPRE value for the PDSCH EPRE is transmitted.
- the eNB also transmits information about a zero power CSI-RS.
- CSI-RS Config represents a location where CSI-RS is transmitted. This indicates the correct symbol and carrier location within one RB, in accordance with the CSI-RS configuration numbers in Table 1, expressed as numbers from 0 to 31.
- the MIMO scheme may be divided into an open-loop scheme and a closed-loop scheme.
- the open-loop MIMO scheme means performing MIMO transmission at the transmitting end without feedback of the CSI from the MIMO receiving end.
- the closed-loop MIMO scheme means that the CSI is fed back from the MIMO receiver to perform the MIMO transmission.
- each of the transmitter and the receiver may perform beamforming based on channel state information in order to obtain a multiplexing gain of the MIMO transmit antenna.
- the transmitting end eg, the base station
- the fed back CSI may include a rank indicator (RI), a precoding matrix index (PMI), and a channel quality indicator (CQI).
- RI rank indicator
- PMI precoding matrix index
- CQI channel quality indicator
- RI is information about channel rank.
- the rank of the channel means the maximum number of layers (or streams) that can transmit different information through the same time-frequency resource. Since the rank value is determined primarily by the long term fading of the channel, it can be fed back over a longer period of time, generally compared to PMI and CQI.
- PMI is information about a precoding matrix used for transmission from a transmitter and is a value reflecting spatial characteristics of a channel.
- Precoding means mapping a transmission layer to a transmission antenna, and a layer-antenna mapping relationship may be determined by a precoding matrix.
- the PMI corresponds to a precoding matrix index of a base station preferred by the terminal based on a metric such as a signal-to-interference plus noise ratio (SINR).
- SINR signal-to-interference plus noise ratio
- MU-MIMO Multi User-Multi Input Multi Output
- SU-MIMO single user-MIMO
- the precoding information fed back by the receiver may be indicated by a combination of two PMIs.
- One of the two PMIs (first PMI) has a property of long term and / or wideband and may be referred to as W1.
- the other one of the two PMIs (second PMI) has a short term and / or subband attribute and may be referred to as W2.
- the CQI is information indicating channel quality or channel strength.
- the CQI may be represented by an index corresponding to a predetermined MCS combination. That is, the fed back CQI index indicates a corresponding modulation scheme and code rate.
- the CQI is a value that reflects the received SINR that can be obtained when the base station configures the spatial channel using the PMI.
- CSI feedback is divided into periodic reporting through PUCCH, which is an uplink control channel, and aperiodic reporting through UL data channel PUSCH, at the request of a base station.
- LTE / LTE-A defines a CSI Reference Resource related to channel measurement for CSI feedback / reporting as described above.
- the CSI reference resource is defined as a group of physical RBs corresponding to a frequency band to which the calculated CQI is associated in the frequency domain.
- n-nCQI_ref is defined, where n is a subframe to transmit / report CSI and nCQI_ref is i) the smallest value of 4 or more, corresponding to a valid subframe in case of periodic CSI reporting, ii.
- a valid subframe corresponding to a subframe in which a CSI request in an uplink DCI format is transmitted and iii) a case of a CSI request in a random access response grant in an aperiodic CSI report.
- a valid subframe is to be a downlink subframe for the corresponding UE, not an MBSFN subframe in case of transmission mode 9, a length of DwPTS in TDD is equal to or greater than a certain size, and a measurement gap set for the corresponding UE Not included in the (gap), when the UE is set to the CSI subframe set in the periodic CSI report means that the condition that corresponds to the element of the CSI subframe set.
- CSI subframe set ( ) May be set in a corresponding UE by a higher layer, and in the current standard, a CSI reference resource is a set of two subframes ( ), But not both sets.
- eIMTA Enhanced Interference Management and Traffic Adaptation
- each subframe (except for special subframes for switching between uplink and downlink) is preset so that each is used for either uplink or downlink.
- each subframe except for special subframes for switching between uplink and downlink
- Table 4 below, in the case of uplink downlink configuration 0, subframes 0 and 5 in one radio frame are used for downlink, 2, 3, Subframes 4, 7, 8, and 9 are preset to be used for uplink.
- the uplink-downlink configuration to be used by a particular base station may be provided to the terminal as part of system information (eg, SIB 1). And, adjacent base stations may be forced to use the same TDD configuration, i.e., uplink-downlink configuration, for reasons such as interference.
- Table 5 shows a case in which a change in the switching period is allowed, and when the change in the switching period is impossible, the subframes that can be used for switching to the downlink are shaded.
- the switching of the uplink subframe to the downlink subframe may be set to satisfy the existing TDD configuration.
- dynamically switching the use of a subframe means that the TDD uplink-downlink configuration after the switching should be any one of the configuration of Table 4.
- the fourth subframe in the uplink-downlink configuration 0 is converted to the downlink subframe, it means that the subframe 9 should also be simultaneously switched to the downlink subframe.
- the 1-bit can be informed whether the uplink-downlink configuration is changed.
- a subframe may be a flexible subframe (subframe capable of changing the duplex direction (for a period of time, for example, a period of change of the uplink-downlink configuration of SIB1), depending on the needs of the base station, or A subframe used in which the duplex direction is changed may be divided into two types / types.
- the static subframe and the flexible subframe may have different interference characteristics or different power characteristics. For example, referring to FIG. 7, FIG.
- FIG. 7A illustrates that a UE transmits an uplink signal to a base station according to an uplink-downlink configuration in which a first base station eNB 1 and a second base station eNB 2 have the same uplink-downlink configuration.
- FIG. 7 (b) shows a case of a flexible subframe in which the first base station changes its use of an uplink subframe to downlink and uses the uplink subframe.
- an uplink signal transmitted by the second UE UE2 may act as a large interference to the first UE UE1 in the flexible subframe.
- UE 7 (b) may act as interference.
- UE2 may transmit higher transmission power than static subframes.
- the interference / power characteristics may be different in the static subframe and the flexible subframe, when reporting the average of the signals / interferences measured in subframes having different interference / power characteristics, an inaccurate report may be performed.
- the UE may configure two or more subframe sets (which may include a static subframe set and a flexible subframe set) and perform CSI reporting.
- the aperiodic CSI report may include a CSI request field included in a downlink signal including an uplink grant (eg, a DCI format 0 or 4 including an uplink grant or a random access response including an uplink grant). ) May be performed by the terminal when the CSI triggers. If the CSI reporting is performed on the subframe set to which the subframe triggered by the CSI reporting belongs, there may be a problem in that the CSI reporting for a specific subframe set is not performed.
- an uplink grant eg, a DCI format 0 or 4 including an uplink grant or a random access response including an uplink grant.
- the terminal may be a terminal having a capability of receiving a downlink signal in a subframe used differently from an uplink-downlink configuration indicated by system information, that is, an eIMTA terminal. have.
- the following invention can be applied only when the operation of the eIMTA, that is, transmission in a transmission direction different from the uplink-downlink configuration known by the SIB is performed.
- the values for requesting CSI reporting among the values of the CSI request field may also indicate a specific subframe set, where the (mapping) relationship between the value of the CSI request field and the subframe set is determined by the (base station / network). ) May be indicated by higher layer signaling or the like.
- a 2-bit CSI request field may have 4 states, so if the value of the CSI request field is 1 bit, increase / extend to 2 bits or add 1 bit to cover 4 states.
- Each of the values (eg, 01, 10, 11) that trigger CSI reporting among the values may indicate a specific subframe set.
- the value of the CSI request field may indicate only one specific subframe set, and in this case, the CSI report may be related to only one subframe set among one or more subframe sets configured for the UE.
- the CSI request field value may indicate a subframe set to perform CSI reporting and may also indicate a CSI process associated with the subframe set.
- the value of the CSI request field may indicate a set of subframes and / or CSI processes to perform CSI reporting, and these relationships may be indicated or predetermined by higher layer signaling / Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling. It may be there. This may be applied even in a carrier aggregation (CA) situation.
- the base station may request the CSI for a specific subframe set of a specific component carrier (specific CSI process) through a combination of subframe sets and / or CSI processes.
- a field may be added to a downlink signal (DCI formats 0 and 4) through which an uplink grant is transmitted, and a subframe set may be indicated by this field.
- the number of bits of the existing CQI field may be increased or a new field including more bits than the bits of the existing CQI field may be defined. This may be useful when the eIMTA is applied to the PCell and the SCell, that is, when reconfiguration of an uplink-downlink configuration is performed in the PCell and the SCell, respectively.
- the base station may request a CSI report for a specific subframe set among subframes belonging to a specific CSI process of a specific carrier.
- N configuration carriers are present, “M” CSI processes are set (assuming the same number of CSI processes are set on all configuration carriers), and four subframe sets (depending on signal / interference characteristics) are defined. If necessary, a total of 4xNxM states are required, and the configuration of each state may be signaled to the terminal through higher layer signaling. (If the number of bits of the existing CQI request field is maintained, a valid combination selected by the base station can be informed to the UE through higher layer signaling or the like.) In addition, the information of the existing CQI request field and the new field for additional information can be informed. The combination may request the UE for CSI for a specific set of subframes in a specific CSI process of a specific component carrier.
- a specific component carrier and a specific CSI process may be set by an existing CQI field, and information about a specific subframe set in the corresponding CSI process may be informed through an additional field. That is, the subframe set information generated by eIMTA may be additionally signaled to the existing CSI request process.
- the subframe set associated with the CSI report is determined by the information related to the uplink grant / transmitted regardless of which subframe set the subframe to which the uplink grant is transmitted belongs. It may be.
- the second method it is possible to determine which subframe the CSI report relates to according to which subframe is the subframe receiving the uplink grant in which the CSI request is activated. For example, when the subframe receiving the uplink grant is included in the static subframe set, CSI reporting may be performed for the static subframe set. As mentioned above, since the uplink grant is not transmitted in the flexible subframe in the eIMTA, it may be understood that the second method does not perform CSI reporting on a specific subframe set (flexible subframe set).
- CSI triggering may be to report CSI for all subframe sets at once.
- a subframe set to be reported subframe-specific can be determined.
- it informs a specific indication (which may be referred to as an A-CSI indication (SF) set, a CSI reporting set, etc.) through higher layer signaling, etc., and when the uplink acknowledgment is transmitted according to the above indication (or CSI for a subframe set allocated to a subframe for performing CSI reporting may be reported.
- SF A-CSI indication
- CSI reporting set CSI reporting set
- the A-CSI indication set is 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 in a radio frame, 0 is a flexible subframe set, 1 is a static subframe set, and
- CSI triggering by SF # 3 may refer to a flexible subframe set, and CSI triggering by SF # 4 may refer to a static subframe set.
- the CSI for which subframe type is reported on each CSI process of each component carrier (and / or transmission point) in each downlink subframe In addition, the CSI allocated to the downlink subframe that receives the uplink grant in which the CSI request is activated may be reported.
- the CSI reference resource may be determined as described below.
- the CSI reference resource may be the last subframe not later than a subframe (subframe n-k) before the subframe n (k may be 4) from the subframe n performing the CSI reporting. (Ie, may be a valid subframe before the subframe nk).
- the last subframe may be included in a subframe set (triggered subframe set) related to CSI reporting, and may be related to CSI reporting.
- the subframe set may be determined by one of the methods described in the above-mentioned 'triggering of the CSI report' part. For example, when the subframe set related to the CSI report is determined by the value of the CSI request field, the last subframe may be included in the subframe set determined by the value of the CSI request field.
- the CSI reference resource is a subframe closest to the subframe in which the CSI reporting is performed among the subframes before the subframe k from the subframe in which the CSI reporting is performed and the condition that the subframe corresponds to the subframe set related to the CSI reporting. It may be a subframe that satisfies all the conditions.
- the CSI reference resource may be applied to a terminal in which a single CSI process of transmission modes 1 to 9 or transmission mode 10 is configured.
- the single CSI process may be made of one CSI-RS resource and one CSI-IM resource, or may be made of one CSI-RS resource and two CSI-IM resources, as described below.
- the CSI reference resource may be applied to a case of a plurality of CSI processes. For example, when two or more CSI processes are configured, the CSI reference resource may be a valid subframe among previous subframes including n-4, and three or more CSIs. When the process is configured, the CSI reference resource may be a valid subframe among previous subframes including n-5.
- the CSI reference resource may be determined according to which subframe set the subframe to which the uplink grant is transmitted belongs.
- the CSI reference resource may belong to the same subframe set as the subframe set designated by the uplink grant among (nk) previous subframes of the corresponding subframe and may be the nearest subframe in time. If the subframe set to which the uplink grant is transmitted is the same as the subframe set to which the uplink grant is requested, the CSI reference resource may be determined to be a subframe through which the uplink grant is transmitted.
- a valid downlink subframe among the downlink subframes belonging to the subframe set indicated by the uplink grant is predefined or higher than a subframe in which the uplink grant is transmitted (for example, 5 subframes or the like).
- the CSI reporting may be omitted. This is considered to be difficult to reflect the actual channel state when a considerable time elapses from the subframe in which the uplink grant is transmitted.
- the subframe in which an uplink grant is transmitted may be replaced with an uplink subframe in which a response to the uplink grant is transmitted. That is, in the above description, the reference time point for determining the CSI reference resource is a subframe in which an uplink grant is transmitted. The reference time point is replaced by an uplink subframe in which a response to the uplink grant is transmitted.
- the above description was for (interference) measurements on two or more sets of subframes.
- the measurement divided by the subframe set unit may be distinguished by the CSI-IM subset.
- a base station designates a multiport (2, 4, 8, etc.) CSI-RS configuration as a CSI-IM, configures the corresponding CSI-IM as two CSI-IM subsets, and a neighboring base station has two CSI-IMs.
- Signals corresponding to downlink transmission and uplink transmission may be transmitted in the IM subset, respectively.
- one CSI-RS process consists of one CSI-RS configuration and one CSI-IM configuration, where one CSI-IM may be configured with a plurality of CSI-IM subsets.
- FIG. 8 shows an example where such a subset is used. Referring to FIG.
- the base station informs the UE of the CSI process including the 8 port CSI-IM and the two subsets (subset 0 and subset 1) included in the CSI-IM, and when the aperiodic CSI report is triggered. Information on which CSI-IM subset to use (SF pattern for subframe-specific CSI reporting) can be informed.
- the UE may select the CSI process to be reported by the uplink grant and determine the CSI-IM subset to be actually reported in the CSI process by the subframe index in which the uplink grant is transmitted. That is, in FIG. 8, when the UE receives an uplink grant in subframe # 0, interference is measured in CSI-IM subset 0, and when the UE receives an uplink grant in subframe # 3, interference is performed in CSI-IM subset 1. It can be measured.
- the CSI process may consist of one CSI-RS configuration and two two CSI-IM resources / configurations.
- each CSI-IM configuration is a set of subframes as described above.
- the subframe set index and the IMR configuration index may be linked together. For example, in the above description, when a subframe set related to CSI reporting is indicated by a CSI request field, interference is measured by using an IMR configuration associated / associated with the subframe set. (The correlation between the subframe set and the IMR configuration may be defined in advance or may be indicated by higher signaling.)
- a combination of one CSI-RS configuration and two CSI-IM configurations may constitute two CSI processes.
- a combination of two CSI-RS configurations and two CSI-IM configurations may configure two CSI processes.
- the base station may configure the CSI process corresponding to the set of subframes in the above description and request the UE for CSI for different signal / interference environments.
- the base station configures CSI-RS configuration 1 and 2 as CSI-RS located in the static subframe and the dynamic subframe, and the flexible downlink subframe, the flexible uplink subframe, the static downlink subframe, and the static interference cell.
- the CSI-IM configuration may be configured in the uplink subframe and the corresponding subframe, respectively.
- the base station may set a plurality of CSI-RS processes through a combination of the CSI-RS configuration and the CSI-IM configuration, and may request the UE for reporting on a specific CSI process.
- subframe set related to the eIMTA there may be many subframe sets related to reporting, such as the subframe set related to the eICIC.
- the uplink grant may designate a CSI process to be reported, and a subframe set (or corresponding CSI-IM) to be reported may be designated by a subframe in which the uplink grant is transmitted.
- aperiodic CSI reporting may be pre-defined to always report CSI for a specific set of subframes (eg static only) and to report another subframe set (flexible) in periodic CSI reporting.
- the CSI process may be designated to report CSI for all subframe sets of a specific CSI process.
- the subframe set may be designated per CSI process set (indicated by upper layer signaling), or may be applied to all CSI process sets in common, or priority for subframe sets for each CSI process may be determined by the base station.
- Another way of signaling a subframe set or a CSI process may be included in the uplink-downlink reconfiguration message.
- the reconfiguration message specifies that the CSI for the flexible subframe set is to be reported in the aperiodic CSI report, so that the CSI for the static subframe set is reported in the periodic CSI report and the flexible subframe set in the aperiodic CSI report. You can also report the CSI for.
- the number of CSIs reported at once and the location of reference resources may be changed according to the number of CSI processes to be reported.
- the number of subframe sets may be used.
- an existing criterion ie, the number of CSI processes
- the UE may assume that four CSI processes are allocated to the corresponding CSI process set.
- priority may be given to the subframe sets.
- the subframe sets belonging to the low CSI process index may be preferentially reported or indexed for each subframe set to report from the low indexes first.
- CSI reporting for some CSI processes (or subframe sets) may be limited by UE capability for the number of CSI processes that can be reported at the same time. .
- the CSI process of the low index can be reported based on the new CSI process index.
- the new CSI process index may be set by the base station (via higher layer signaling or the like) or may be predefined. (The new CSI process index may be used here only to indicate the priority of reporting.) For example, subframe set 0 of each CSI process (if at most two subframe sets are defined for each CSI process). Indexing may be performed first, and then indexing of subframe set 1 may be performed.
- idx1 subframe set 0 of CSI process 1
- idx2 subframe set 1 of CSI process 1
- idx3 subframe set 1 of CSI process 1
- each UE reports Indexes can be reported starting from as low as possible CSI.
- the CSI that is not reported due to the high index in the previous report may be preferentially reported, and the CSI may be omitted if the reporting time point and the measurement time point are dropped by a certain time (for example, a new reconstruction time point).
- the predetermined time may be signaled or previously defined by the base station, and it may be signaled to omit a specific CSI report by the base station regardless of the predetermined time.
- the CSI may be simultaneously reported for all subframe sets included in the CSI process belonging to each CSI process set. (At this time, the number of CSIs reported to the current point of time may be limited by the number of CSI reports that have not been reported in the past.)
- CSI is a condition for obtaining the number of concurrently reported CSI processes and the reference resource location.
- the number of CSI processes may be additionally defined (in this process, the number of CSI processes may be counted at the level of the subframe set included in the CSI process).
- the k value for obtaining A may also be additionally specified according to the number of CSI processes and subframe sets.
- a set of subframes to be reported may be determined according to the type of search space in which an uplink grant is transmitted.
- which subframe set is reported may be predefined or indicated through higher layer signaling. For example, CSI reporting may be performed on the first subframe set when the uplink grant is transmitted through the common search space, and on the second subframe set when the uplink grant is transmitted through the UE-specific search space. have.
- the number of CSI processes applied to periodic CSI reporting and aperiodic CSI reporting may be different. For example, if four CSI processes exist and each CSI process consists of two subframe sets, this may be regarded as eight CSI processes. In this case, it may be assumed that all eight CSI processes are available in periodic reporting, and only four CSI process indexes are available in low order in aperiodic reporting.
- the CSI processes available in periodic reporting are either predefined (i.e., assumed to be available in a predetermined number of CSI processes in the order of the lowest index, as shown in the example) or assigned by the base station through higher layer signaling or the like (e.g., specific CSI processes). May designate a specific set of subframes, or some of the newly indexed CSI processes).
- indexing for a new CSI process is defined in advance (for example, indexing the CSI process in ascending order from a set of subframes belonging to an existing low CSI process), or the base station is provided to the terminal through higher layer signaling. You can inform.
- the base station may set the periodic CSI reporting to evenly distribute the reporting time point so that the CSI is reported for the newly indexed entire CSI process, and the aperiodic CSI reporting may be performed using the newly defined CSI process (i.e., the method (s) described above). , the UE may be instructed to report some or all of the subframe set of the eIMTA to the CSI process).
- two subframe sets are configured for the UE in relation to eIMTA.
- the present invention is not limited thereto, and a subframe set considering more various interference situations may be configured.
- the use of subframes in the serving cell and the neighboring cell may include static uplink subframe (SU), static downlink subframe (SD), flexible uplink subframe (FU), and flexible downlink subframe (FD), respectively. ), And thus, 8 subframe sets may be configured as shown in Table 5 below.
- Subframe set 0 Subframe set 1
- Subframe set 2 Subframe set 3
- Subframe set 4 Subframe set 5
- Subframe set 6 Subframe set 7
- Serving cell SD SD SD SD SD FD FD FD FD Neighbor cell SD FD SU FU SD FD SU FU
- the above description can also be applied to the case of carrier aggregation. That is, when using different uplink-downlink configurations for the PCell and SCell in the carrier aggregation situation (in addition, if the PCell and SCell have different static / flexible subframe configurations through different UL-downlink reconfigurations)
- the above proposal can also be used for CSI requests for a specific (static / flexible) subframe set in a cell.
- the base station may request the UE to measure and report CSI for a specific subframe set (eg, a subframe set consisting of static downlink subframes) of a specific component carrier. .
- the base station may inform the UE of the subframe set information of each component carrier through higher layer signaling.
