Abstract

 リチウムの吸蔵放出が可能な正極および負極と、リチウムイオンを含有する非水電解質とを有するリチウムイオン二次電池であって、前記非水電解質は、プロピレンカーボネート、一般式(1)で示されるフッ素化環状カーボネート、並びに、フッ素含有リン酸エステルおよびフッ素化鎖状エーテルから選択される1種以上を含有し、前記プロピレンカーボネートの含有率は非水電解溶媒中1体積%以上50体積%以下であり、前記フッ素化環状カーボネートの含有率は非水電解溶媒中0.1体積%以上10体積%以下であることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池に関する。本発明によれば、低温特性に優れ、ガス発生が抑制された二次電池を提供することができる。
