Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kolbenrings bereitgestellt, umfassend Bereitstellen eines Grundkörpers aus einer Eisenbasislegierung, Abscheiden einer Beschichtung auf der Laufflächenseite des Grundkörpers, und Erzeugen einer Strukturierung in der Beschichtung, wobei die Strukturierung mindestens eine erste Reihe von Vertiefungen, die in einem periodischen Muster in Umfangsrichtung verteilt sind, und mindestens eine zweite Reihe von Vertiefungen umfasst, die in einem periodischen Muster in Umfangsrichtung verteilt sind, wobei das Muster der zweiten Vertiefungen dem Muster der ersten Vertiefungen, verschoben um eine Länge zwischen 0,25 und 0,75 Perioden, entspricht.
