Abstract
Description
図1は、第1の実施の形態に係る車両用灯具の概略構造を示す鉛直断面図である。なお、図1は、光源ユニット100の内部を透視した状態を図示している。また、走査部300の永久磁石312,314の図示を省略している。本実施の形態に係る車両用灯具は、例えば、車両前方の左右に配置される一対の前照灯ユニットを有する車両用前照灯装置である。一対の前照灯ユニットは、実質的に同一の構成であるため、図1には車両用灯具1として左右いずれかの前照灯ユニットの構成を示す。なお、以下に説明する車両用灯具1の構造は例示であって、以下の構造に限定されるものではない。
図2は、光源ユニットの概略構造を示す側面図である。なお、図2では、光源ユニット100の内部を透視した状態を図示している。光源ユニット100は、第1光源102、第2光源104、第3光源106、ヒートシンク110、第1レンズ112、第2レンズ114、第3レンズ116、光透過部120及び集光部200等を有する。
図3は、灯具前方側から観察したときの走査部の概略斜視図である。走査部300は、第1光源102~第3光源106から出射されるレーザ光を走査して、所定の配光パターン(図4参照)を形成するための機構である。走査部300は、ベース302、第1回動体304、第2回動体306、第1トーションバー308、第2トーションバー310、永久磁石312,314、端子部316及び反射鏡318等を有する。ベース302は、中央に開口部302aを有する枠体であり、灯具前後方向に傾斜した状態で突出部10(図1参照)の先端に固定される。ベース302には、所定位置に端子部316が設けられる。開口部302aには、第1回動体304が配置される。第1回動体304は、中央に開口部304aを有する枠体であり、灯具後方下側から灯具前方上側に延在する第1トーションバー308により、ベース302に対し左右(車幅方向)に回動可能に支持される。
図4は、本実施の形態に係る車両用灯具により形成される配光パターンの一例を示す図である。なお、図4では、灯具前方の所定位置、例えば灯具前方25mの位置に配置された仮想鉛直スクリーン上に形成された配光パターンを示している。また、レーザ光の走査の軌跡は、破線及び実線で模式的に示している。
続いて、第1光源102~第3光源106が出射するレーザ光のピーク波長について詳細に説明する。図5(A)は、従来の白色LEDの分光分布を示す図である。図5(B)は、RGBレーザ光源の分光分布を示す図である。図5(C)は、RGBレーザ光源及び白色LEDの演色評価数Ra及びR9と理論効率とを示す表である。図5(A)及び図5(B)では横軸を波長(nm)とし、縦軸を相対放射照度としたグラフを示している。例えば、RGBレーザ光源は、ピーク波長639nmの赤色レーザ光、ピーク波長532nmの緑色レーザ光及びピーク波長465nmの青色レーザ光を合成して白色レーザ光を出射する光源である。
車両用灯具の照射光についてRaを計算した。Raの計算において、車両用灯具1の照射光は、色度(x,y)が0.34≦x≦0.36、0.34≦y≦0.36の範囲内に含まれ、色温度(K)が4500以上5500以下となるように調整した。Raは、日本工業規格JIS Z 8726で規定される方法にしたがって計算することができる。本実施の形態では、一般に車両用灯具に求められるRa=60をしきい値に設定し、Raが60以上である場合を「A」と評価し、Raが60未満である場合を「B」と評価した。結果を図6~図8に示す。
上述したRaの計算において判定が「A」であった車両用灯具の照射光について、R9を計算した。色度及び色温度はRaの計算と同様に設定した。R9は、日本工業規格JIS Z 8726で規定される方法にしたがって計算することができる。本実施の形態では、白色LEDのR9=-37.4(図5(C)参照)をしきい値に設定し、R9が-37.4以上である場合を「AA」と評価し、R9が-37.4未満である場合を「A」と評価した。結果を図9及び図10に示す。
続いて、上述したR9の計算において判定が「AA」であった車両用灯具の照射光について、理論効率(lm/W)を計算した。色度及び色温度はRaの計算と同様に設定した。理論効率ηtheoは、以下の式に基づいて計算することができる。本実施の形態では、白色LEDの理論効率と同等の理論効率=330をしきい値に設定し、理論効率が330以上である場合を「AAA」と評価し、理論効率が330未満である場合を「AA」と評価した。結果を図11及び図12に示す。
図13は、第2の実施の形態に係る車両用灯具の概略構造を示す鉛直断面図である。なお、図13は、光源ユニット1100の内部を透視した状態を図示している。また、走査部300の永久磁石312,314の図示を省略している。本実施の形態に係る車両用灯具は、例えば、車両前方の左右に配置される一対の前照灯ユニットを有する車両用前照灯装置である。一対の前照灯ユニットは、実質的に同一の構成であるため、図13には車両用灯具1として左右いずれかの前照灯ユニットの構成を示す。なお、以下に説明する車両用灯具1の構造は例示であって、以下の構造に限定されるものではない。
図14は、光源ユニットの概略構造を示す側面図である。なお、図14では、光源ユニット1100の内部を透視した状態を図示している。光源ユニット1100は、第1光源1102、第2光源1104、第3光源1106、第4光源1108、ヒートシンク1110、第1レンズ1112、第2レンズ1114、第3レンズ1116、第4レンズ1118、光透過部1120及び集光部1200等を有する。
図3に示すように、走査部300は、第1光源1102~第4光源1108から出射されるレーザ光を走査して、所定の配光パターン(図4参照)を形成するための機構である。走査部300は、第1の実施の形態と同様の構造を有するため、詳細な説明を省略する。
本実施の形態に係る車両用灯具により形成される配光パターンは、第1の実施の形態と同様である。走査部300は、車幅方向に延在する矩形の走査領域SA内をレーザ光でスキャン可能である。制御ユニット400は、走査部300によるレーザ光の走査位置がロービーム用配光パターンLo内である場合に、第1光源1102~第4光源1108からレーザ光を出射させ、当該走査位置がロービーム用配光パターンLo外である場合に、各光源からのレーザ光の出射を停止させる。これにより、図4に示すように、対向車線側カットオフラインCL1、自車線側カットオフラインCL2及び斜めカットオフラインCL3を有するロービーム用配光パターンLoが形成される。なお、車両用灯具1は、ハイビーム用配光パターン等の他の配光パターンも形成することができる。
続いて、車両用灯具1の演色性について詳細に説明する。図15(A)は、従来の白色LEDの分光分布を示す図である。図15(B)は、RGBレーザ光源の分光分布を示す図である。図15(C)は、RGBレーザ光源及び白色LEDの演色評価数Ra及びR9と理論効率とを示す表である。図15(A)及び図15(B)では横軸を波長(nm)とし、縦軸を相対放射照度としたグラフを示している。例えば、RGBレーザ光源は、ピーク波長639nmの赤色レーザ光、ピーク波長532nmの緑色レーザ光及びピーク波長465nmの青色レーザ光を合成して白色レーザ光を出射する光源である。
(評価試験I)
車両用灯具の照射光について、色度(x,y)、Ra、R9及び理論効率の関係を評価した。まず、第1レーザ光B2、第2レーザ光G2及び第4レーザ光R2のピーク波長をそれぞれ、上述したRGBレーザ光源と同様に、465nm、532nm、639nmに設定した。そして、第3レーザ光O2のピーク波長を、570nm、580nm、585nm、590nm、600nm、610nmに設定して、各ピーク波長における色度(x,y)、Ra、R9及び理論効率を計算した。各レーザ光の出力強度比は、B2:G2:O2:R2=1.00:1.00:0.90:1.00とした。
各レーザ光の出力強度比を、B2:G2:O2:R2=1.00:1.20:0.90:1.00とした点を除いて、評価試験Iと同様にして色度、Ra、R9及び理論効率の計算及び評価を実施した。結果を図17(A)及び図17(B)に示す。図17(A)は、色度、平均演色評価数Ra、特殊演色評価数R9及び理論効率の計算結果を示す表である。図17(B)は、色度の計算結果と白色領域との関係を示す図である。図17(A)において、ハッチングが施されたセルは、評価試験Iと同様である。
各レーザ光の出力強度比を、B2:G2:O2:R2=0.80:0.50:0.90:1.00とした点を除いて、評価試験Iと同様にして色度、Ra、R9及び理論効率の計算及び評価を実施した。結果を図18(A)及び図18(B)に示す。図18(A)は、色度、平均演色評価数Ra、特殊演色評価数R9及び理論効率の計算結果を示す表である。図18(B)は、色度の計算結果と白色領域との関係を示す図である。図18(A)において、ハッチングが施されたセルは、評価試験Iと同様である。
第2レーザ光G2のピーク波長を545nmとし、第3レーザ光O2の出力強度比を0.80とした点を除いて、評価試験Iと同様にして色度、Ra、R9及び理論効率の計算及び評価を実施した。結果を図19(A)及び図19(B)に示す。図19(A)は、色度、平均演色評価数Ra、特殊演色評価数R9及び理論効率の計算結果を示す表である。図19(B)は、色度の計算結果と白色領域との関係を示す図である。図19(A)において、ハッチングが施されたセルは、評価試験Iと同様である。
第2レーザ光G2のピーク波長を545nmとし、第3レーザ光O2の出力強度比を0.80とし、第3レーザ光O2のピーク波長の設定に612nm、613nmを追加した点を除いて、評価試験IIと同様にして色度、Ra、R9及び理論効率の計算及び評価を実施した。結果を図20(A)及び図20(B)に示す。図20(A)は、色度、平均演色評価数Ra、特殊演色評価数R9及び理論効率の計算結果を示す表である。図20(B)は、色度の計算結果と白色領域との関係を示す図である。図20(A)において、ハッチングが施されたセルは、評価試験Iと同様である。
第2レーザ光G2のピーク波長を545nmとし、第3レーザ光O2の出力強度比を0.80とし、第3レーザ光O2のピーク波長の設定に572nm、573nmを追加した点を除いて、評価試験IIIと同様にして色度、Ra、R9及び理論効率の計算及び評価を実施した。結果を図21(A)及び図21(B)に示す。図21(A)は、色度、平均演色評価数Ra、特殊演色評価数R9及び理論効率の計算結果を示す表である。図21(B)は、色度の計算結果と白色領域との関係を示す図である。図21(A)において、ハッチングが施されたセルは、評価試験Iと同様である。
Claims (6)
- 450nm以上475nm以下の波長域内にピーク波長を有する第1レーザ光を出射する第1光源と、
525nm以上555nm以下の波長域内にピーク波長を有し、前記第1レーザ光のピーク波長と自身のピーク波長との間隔が65nm以上95nm以下である第2レーザ光を出射する第2光源と、
605nm以上620nm以下の波長域内にピーク波長を有し、前記第2レーザ光のピーク波長と自身のピーク波長との間隔が60nm以上80nm未満であり、且つ前記第1レーザ光のピーク波長と自身のピーク波長との間隔が170nm未満である第3レーザ光を出射する第3光源と、
第1~第3レーザ光を集合させて白色レーザ光を生成する集光部と、
を備えることを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 前記第3レーザ光は、610nm以上620nm以下の波長域内にピーク波長を有する請求項1に記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記第1レーザ光は、450nm以上470nm以下の波長域内にピーク波長を有する請求項1又は2に記載の車両用灯具。
- 青色の第1レーザ光を出射する第1光源と、
緑色の第2レーザ光を出射する第2光源と、
黄色又は橙色の第3レーザ光を出射する第3光源と、
赤色の第4レーザ光を出射する第4光源と、
各レーザ光を集合させて白色レーザ光を生成する集光部と、
を備えることを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 前記第1レーザ光は、450nm以上470nm以下の波長域内にピーク波長を有し、
前記第2レーザ光は、510nm以上550nm以下の波長域内にピーク波長を有し、
前記第3レーザ光は、570nm以上612nm以下の波長域内にピーク波長を有し、
前記第4レーザ光は、630nm以上650nm以下の波長域内にピーク波長を有する請求項4に記載の車両用灯具。 - 前記第3レーザ光は、580nm以上600nm以下の波長域内にピーク波長を有する請求項5に記載の車両用灯具。
