Abstract
A light-incident surface dye-sensitized titanium dioxide electromotive body is divided-up across the light-incident surface, on the basis of new findings indicating that forming the dye-sensitized titanium dioxide electromotive body, which is to be arranged on the light-incident side of a dye-sensitized tandem solar cell, so as to be divided-up across the surface enables a larger short circuit current to be obtained than when said electromotive body is formed as one across the entire surface of the light-incident surface. This dye-sensitized tandem solar cell in which the dye-sensitized titanium dioxide electromotive body that is to be arranged on the light-incident side has been formed so as to be divided-up across the light-incident surface makes it possible to obtain a dye-sensitized tandem solar cell with which a larger short circuit current can be obtained and with which a greater output can be achieved compared to when the dye-sensitized titanium dioxide electromotive body is formed on the entirety of the light-incident surface.
