  • switchgear consists of bus bar for conducting electricity. These bus bars are located on the top of the switchgear, above which the gas duct for extinguishing internal arc is provided. This arrangement renders the access to the bus bars from top difficult thereby requiring access to the bus bar from the front or from the rear of the switchgear. Besides this, having a vent on the top of the switchgear reduces the ingress protection and as such requires caution. Such arrangement of the bus bar and the gas duct increases the size of the switchgear resulting in a larger switchgear occupying more space.

  • the bus bars (220) are now easily accessible say from the top of the switchgear (200) unlike the prior art switchgear (100) where there is an arc duct (130) that makes the access to the bus bar (220) more difficult.
  • Figs. 2b and 3b shows a switchgear (200) according to another embodiment of the invention, in which the switchgear (200) is almost similar in type in comparison with the switchgear shown in Figs. 2a and 3a.

Abstract

L'invention porte sur une installation d'appareillage de commutation débrochable (200) qui comprend un disjoncteur débrochable (210), un agencement de barre omnibus (300a) et un conduit à arc et à gaz (230).
