If the status code is not 0, a new end-to-end Wi-Fi P2P Handover Request / Select message is sent and received to form a end-to-end Wi-Fi P2P Group. can do.
- FIG. 17 illustrates a carrier data (CARRIER_DATA) structure of a WSC Handover Carrier Record of a Wi-Fi P2P Handover Select message.
- CARRIER_DATA carrier data
- Wi-Fi P2P connection Handover Request message including Device Password defined in the Wi-Fi Simple Configuration (WSC) Specification
- WSC Wi-Fi Simple Configuration
- the WFA Vendor Extension Attribute which is included in the WSC Handover Carrier Record, must be included in the WSC Handover Carrier Record to send a Wi-Fi P2P Handover Select message.
- Wi-Fi P2P connection Handover Request message including credentials defined in the Wi-Fi Simple Configuration (WSC) Specification
- WSC Wi-Fi Simple Configuration
- the Wi-Fi The P2P connection Handover Select message should be sent, in this case the WFA Vendor Extension Attribute, including the Version Attribute, Version2 sub-element, and Include the Credential Attributes and Key Lifetime Attributes in the WSC Handover Carrier Record, including the Credential Information to be used when the device is GO.
- the credential is included in the end-to-end Wi-Fi P2P connection select message, the credential's SSID should use the P2P Wildcard SSID “Direct-”.
- a passphrase in case of Network Key is 8 ⁇ 63 ascii character
- a network key should be generated using the PBKDF2 function defined in the IEEE802.1-2012 specification. If a network key (when the network key is 64 hex character) is used in the credential, the network key is used without PBKDF2 operation.
- the WFA Vendor Extension Attribute including the Version Attribute and the Version2 sub-element of the WSC Carrier record are omitted.
- a requestor for transmitting an end-to-end Wi-Fi P2P Handover Request message supports channels 1, 6, 11 and 36, 40.
- 1000ms is required for the end-to-end Wi-Fi P2P interface to be activated after sending and receiving NFC messages.
- channel 1 we want to use channel 1 as the channel for P2P GON (or P2P invitation), and we use “a785ytfltr” as the device password.
- a device that receives a Wi-Fi P2P connection Handover Request message receives a Status Success, 1500 ms of Activation Timeout, and a End-to-End GON (or after Connection Handover).
- the channel 1 is transmitted with a P2P connection handover select message.
- the device that sends the P2P connection handover select message shares the device password transmitted in the request message, so the out-of-band device is included in the selection message. Password does not have to be included.
- each device After the activation timeout of each device after the message exchange, each device performs a P2P GON (or P2P invitation) on channel 1 previously configured. At this time, the device that sent the end-to-end Wi-Fi P2P Handover Request message should first transmit the end-to-end GON (or P2P Invitation Request) frame.
- the WFA Vendor Extension Attribute including the Version Attribute and the Version2 sub-element of the WSC Carrier record are omitted.
- the device that receives the Wi-Fi P2P Handover Request message including the Out-of-Band Device Password wants to use a new Device Password. . Therefore, when sending a Wi-Fi P2P Handover Select message, add an Out-of-Band Device Password, including a new Device Password, to end-to-end Wi-Fi Hand. The Wi-Fi P2P Handover Select message is transmitted. At this time, the two devices should perform the WSC using the device password sent by the selector.
- 20 is another embodiment of executing a connection handover from NFC to Wi-Fi P2P using a Wi-Fi P2P Connection Handover message according to the present invention.
- the WFA Vendor Extension Attribute including the Version Attribute and the Version2 sub-element of the WSC Carrier record are omitted.
- the device receiving the end-to-end Wi-Fi P2P Handover Request message including the Credential Attribute includes the credential including the credential information to be used when the user becomes the group owner. It should send a Wi-Fi P2P Handover Select message that adds a Credential Attribute. At this time, since the two devices share the credential information, a new BSS can be formed without the WSC process.
- FIG. 21 illustrates an embodiment of executing a connection handover from NFC to Wi-Fi P2P using a Wi-Fi P2P Connection Handover message according to the present invention.
- the WFA Vendor Extension Attribute including the Version Attribute and the Version2 sub-element of the WSC Carrier record are omitted.
- a requestor for transmitting an end-to-end Wi-Fi P2P Handover Request message supports only channel 1. However, since the selector only supports channel 11, there is no common channel for the two devices to perform Wi-Fi end-to-end GON. As a result, the two devices fail the Wi-Fi P2P Connection Handover.
- FIG. 22 is a flowchart illustrating an operation using a Wi-Fi P2P Connection Handover message according to the present invention.
- the wireless communication device searches for an adjacent wireless communication device having the NFC function (S2201).
- the neighbor wireless communication device having the NFC function S2203
- the apparatus waits for reception of a handover selection message through an NFC link from an adjacent wireless communication device (S2209).
- the handover selection message is received (S2211), it is checked whether there is an error in the received handover selection message (S2213).
- the status characteristic is checked in the handover selection message (S2215). If the identification of the status characteristic is successful (S2217), the characteristics of the channel and the credential are analyzed (S2219). Thereafter, end-to-end Wi-Fi connection is performed with the adjacent wireless communication device through the negotiated channel (S2221).
- the handover request message is received in step S2205, the handover request message is analyzed (S2231). Thereafter, it is checked whether the end-to-end Wi-Fi connection can be performed with the neighboring wireless communication device according to the handover request message (S2233). If the end-to-end Wi-Fi connection can be made, a Wi-Fi selection message including a status characteristic including a code for success is transmitted and the end-to-end Wi-Fi connection is performed (S2235). On the other hand, if the end-to-end Wi-Fi connection is not possible, a handover selection message including a code and an error record for the failure is transmitted (S2237).
- step S2213 if there is an error code in step S2213 or if the check of the status characteristics fails in step S2217, the handover selection message is analyzed (S2241, S2243). Subsequently, another step (parameter) is attempted again, and if successful, step S2205 is performed, and if failed, step S2201 is performed (S2245).
- two-way wireless data communication devices capable of connecting to each other for example, a Wi-Fi P2P connection setup in a device capable of using both Wi-Fi P2P and NFC communication methods (Wi-Fi P2P connection setup)
- Wi-Fi P2P connection setup can be performed via NFC. Therefore, the time required for end-to-end Wi-Fi P2P connection setup can be shortened and performed efficiently.
- Embodiments of the present invention are repeatable and therefore industrially applicable in the field of communication.
