Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a ventilating seat for a motor vehicle including a ventilating function for a pleasant seating feeling, and more particularly, to a ventilating seat for a motor vehicle capable of preventing a seat cushion from being damaged by air circulation at the time of ventilating.

  • a resin material pad such as a urethane foam pad
  • the seat having the above-mentioned structure is poorly ventilated, such that much perspiration is soaked between haunches of a driver and the seat at the time of driving in summertime, causing the driver to feel uncomfortable. Since this directly acts as a fact hindering drive concentration, many researches into this problem have been conducted.
  • One of these researches is a ventilating seat having a ventilating function, wherein the ventilating function removes perspiration produced from the haunches or back of a seat occupant while seated over a long time or at the time of getting in the motor vehicle during hot or humid weather using wind and reduce a temperature of the seat, thereby providing a pleasant environment to the seat occupant. Therefore, the ventilating seat transfers air generated from an air generating apparatus, for example, a fan to a seating surface of the seat or absorbs the air from the seating surface of the seat through the fan, thereby removing moisture from a seating portion of the seat or reducing the temperature. To this end, an air flowing path is secured between the fan and the seating surface of the seat by forming a groove or a hole in a cushion foam of the seat.
