Abstract

 質量%で、C:0.01%以上0.10%未満、Si:1.0%以下、Mn:0.5~3.0%、P:0.02%以下、S:0.06%以下、Cr:0.3~3.0%、Mo:0.005~0.4%、V:0.02~0.5%、Nb:0.003~0.15%、Al:0.005~0.2%およびSb:0.0005~0.02%を含有し、残部はFeおよび不可避的不純物の組成に調整すると共に、ベイナイト相を組織全体に対する面積率で50%超とすることにより、軟窒化処理前には優れた機械加工性を有し、軟窒化処理後は優れた疲労特性を示す、自動車等の機械構造部品に適用して好適な軟窒化用鋼を提供する。
