Abstract

Elektrische Maschine (10) mit einem Gehäuse (13), welches ein Lagerschild (13.2) aufweist, und einem durch das Lagerschild (13.2) gelagerten Rotor (20), wobei ein am Rotor (20) befestigter Lüfter (30) dazu geeignet ist eine Kühlluftströmung entlang eines Kühlluftpfades (46) durch das Gehäuse (13) zu erzeugen, mit einem Regler (91), der zumindest mittelbar am Lagerschild (13.2) befestigt ist, wobei der Regler (91) einen Kühlkörper (153) aufweist, der durch einen Teil der Kühlluftströmung entlang eines Teilkühlpfades (110) kühlbar ist, wobei der Regler (91) so angeordnet ist, dass der Kühlkörper (153) durch einen in axialer Richtung am Kühlkörper vorbei strömenden Teil des Kühlluftstroms entlang des Teilkühlpfades (110) kühlbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kühlluftstrom in Umfangsrichtung durch eine plattenförmige Basis (167) des Kühlkörpers (153) begrenzt ist.
