Abstract

The utility model relates to the field of road mechanical engineering and can be used in devices for the clearing and removal of snow and ice formations from the surface of roads and sidewalks. The device comprises a working member (1) in the form of a plate (2), the cutting side (3) of which is sharply tapered. The plate (2) is rigidly connected to a rod (4). On top of the working member (1) are ribs (5). There can be between one and four ribs. The ribs (5) are arranged parallel to the line of motion. The ribs can be saw-toothed or oval. The cutting side of the ribs is sharply tapered. An internal combustion engine (6), an electric hammer (7) or a pneumatic hammer (8) can be used as the source of power. The working member moves forward and backward, parallel to the surface to be cleared with a frequency of 15 to 50 movements per second and having a vertical play of 2-3 mm.
