Abstract
The invention relates to a device for supporting a solar module on a roof such as a flat roof, comprising base carriers, which run parallel to each other and from each of which a front, preferably shorter support (20) and a rear, preferably longer support extend to support the solar module, wherein the supports for the solar module are formed as integral components of the base carrier. To allow simple and inexpensive assembly with low outlay on material, the base carrier (16, 18) is formed from a flat material, the supports (20, 22) are cut out of the flat material by punching or cutting, forming a cut-out (46, 48, 50; 52, 54, 56) and connected to the main body (16, 18) via a bending line, the supports (20, 22) can be bent out of the flat material of the base carrier (16, 18) along the bending line by an angle (β, γ) in relation to a longitudinal axis (62) of the base carrier (16, 18) such that they are directed toward each other and the base carrier (16, 18) has a connecting element (38, 40) at each end, which is cut out of the flat material of the base carrier (16, 18) by punching or cutting.
