Abstract

An agricultural system for increasing the productivity of an agricultural operation and reducing the presence of toxic compounds and the soil and in the produce. The system includes a pesticide residue reducer that is fed directly to the plants and contains selenium compounds and certain naturally occurring compounds. The system also includes a soil improver designed to provide time-released selenium compounds directly into the soil and plant root system. The system also includes procedures for optimizing the use of the system compounds.

AGRICULTURAL SYSTEM
FIELD OF THE INVENTION This invention is directed to methods, compositions and kits or systems for reducing pesticide residue in the soil and plants, and enhancing plant production.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION As used herein, the word "systems" as it is sometimes used in the phrase "agricultural systems" refers to an assembly of compositions or materials and the application of such compositions and materials to plants, such as crops and the like to promote growth, in the nature of fertilizers, and to control pests, such as insects. These compositions and materials are sometimes bundled or marketed together in the form of a system approach to enhance crops or other plants. The bundled compositions, methods and materials are referred to herein as a "kit" or a "system".
Prior Agricultural Systems and practices have used pesticides that can leave residues in soil supporting the crops or plants and in or on the plants themselves. These residues can build up over time and reduce the productivity of plants. These residues are, or are perceived as, undesirable by the public.
There is a need for methods, compositions, systems and kits to reduce the need for synthetic pesticides, to enhance the ability of soil to support crop or plant growth and to remove pesticide residue from plants, plant surfaces and soil. These and other difficulties experienced with the prior art devices have been obviated in a novel manner by the present invention.
A further object of some embodiments of present invention is to provide an Agricultural System that produces the benefits of organic farming. BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
This invention is an agricultural system for increasing the productivity of an agricultural operation and reducing the presence of toxic compounds and the soil and in the produce.
One embodiment of the present invention is directed to a material for reducing pesticide residue in plants. The material for reducing pesticide residue comprises a selenium salt in an aqueous solution having aradirachtin and matrine in which herbal residues are suspended or dissolved.
One such material features a selenium salt present in an amount of approximately 0.25 to 2.5%. A further material features a selenium salt selected from the group consisting of potassium selenite and sodium selenite.
One such material features herbs are selected from the group consisting of L. Japonica Thumb., L. hypoglauca Miq., Plantago Siatica. These are selected Chinese herbs. One such material features aradirachtin and/or matrine present in a concentration of about .01 %.
One embodiment of the present invention directed to the method of reducing the detectable presence of pesticides on plants comprising the steps of spraying a material on the exposed plant surfaces said material having a selenium salt in a aqueous solution having aradirachtin and matrine in which herbal residues are suspended or dissolved.
One method feaures a selenium salt present in an amount of approximately 0.25 to 2.5%. One further method features a selenium salt selected from the group consisting of potassium selenite and sodium selenite.
One method features herbs selected from the group consisting of L. Japonica Thumb., L. hypoglauca Miq., Plantago Siatica. Again, these herbs have Chinese origins.
One method features aradirachtin and /or matrine present in a concentration of about .01 %.
A further embodiment of the present invention is directed to a material for improving the agricultural features of soil. The material for improving soil quality comprises particles of a biodegradable polymer having a mixture of a selenium salt with one or more of the following group of compounds consisting of borate, manganese salt, zinc salt, magnesium salt, and iron salt in aqueous buffers.
One material features a biodegradable polymer or polymers comprising one or more of the following group, carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose and hydroxypropyl cellulose. One material further features such polymers combined with one or more binders, such as, by way of example without limitation, attapulgite powder and caramel.
One material features a selenium salt, potassium selenite. A further material features the potassium salt present as approximately 30 to 60 percent of the particle mass.
One material features compounds consisting of borate, manganese salt, zinc salt, magnesium salt, and iron salt present, independently of each other, at less than one percent of the particle mass.
A further embodiment directed to a method for improving the agricultural features of soil comprising the steps of applying to the soil in the area about the roots of plants to promote growth, particles of a biodegradable polymer having a mixture of a selenium salt with one or more of the following group of compounds consisting of borate, manganese salt, zinc salt, magnesium salt, and iron salt in aqueous buffers.

A further embodiment of the present invention is directed to a kit or system for promoting the growth of one or more plants comprising a material for reducing plant pesticide residue and a material for improving soil features. The material for reducing pesticide residue in plants comprises a selenium salt in an aqueous solution having aradirachtin and matrine in which herbal residues are suspended or dissolved for application to the plant surfaces exposed above ground. And, the material for improving the agricultural features of soil comprises particles of a biodegradable polymer having a mixture of a selenium salt with one or more of the following group of compounds consisting of borate, manganese salt, zinc salt, magnesium salt, and iron salt in aqueous buffers for incorporation into soil about the roots of the plant.
A further embodiment of the present invention is directed to a method for promoting the growth of one or more plants comprising the steps of reducing plant pesticide residue by applying a first material comprising a selenium salt in a aqueous solution having aradirachtin and matrine in which herbal residues are suspended or dissolved for application to the plant surfaces exposed above ground, and applying a second material comprising particles of a biodegradable polymer having a mixture of a selenium salt with one or more of the following group of compounds consisting of borate, manganese salt, zinc salt, magnesium salt, and iron salt in aqueous buffers for incorporation into soil about the roots of the plant.
The system includes a pesticide residue reducer that is fed directly to the plants and contains selenium compounds and certain naturally occurring compounds. The system also includes a soil improver designed to provide time-released selenium compounds directly into the soil and plant root system. The system also includes procedures for optimizing the use of the system compounds.
With these and other objects in view, as will be apparent to those skilled in the art, the invention resides in the combination of parts set forth in the specification and covered by the claims appended hereto, it being understood that changes in the precise embodiment of the invention herein disclosed may be made within the scope of what is claimed without departing from the spirit of the invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

This invention might be viewed as having three aspects. As described in Section 1 , the system includes a pesticide residue reducer that is fed directly to the plants and contains selenium compounds and certain naturally occurring compounds. As described in Section 2, the system also includes a soil improver designed to provide time-released selenium compounds directly into the soil and plant root system. As described in Section 3, the system also includes procedures for optimizing the use of the system compounds. Background Information: In Chinese Agriculture Industry, along with rapid economic growth nationwide, pollution has become a serious issue in China in the past three decades. Heavy metal and pesticide residue far exceeding regulated level in economically developed areas caused by a large number of industrial and mining enterprises produce unregulated sewage and sharp increase in car ownership in cities and countries. Farmland has been heavily polluted. The quality of the crops has dropped significantly. Environmental and food pollution has become a huge thread to the general public. The abusive usage of pesticides, antibiotics and hormone... etc. in agricultural practices in China has caused a large increase in harmful residue in crops, livestock, poultry, eggs and aquatic product. On the other hand, global warming has increased agricultural pests and diseases. The requirement of additional doses of pest controls and fertilizers has made the situation even worse.
The alarm is sounded! Food safety directly impacts general public's health, safety, public satisfaction index ratio and may become a cause for many other social and economical problems. Chinese government is greatly concerned about this problem and encouraging new reach and development in organic agricultural industry.
This is a worldwide concern. Research and development in organic agriculture has become a trend in many countries nowadays.
In Modern U.S. Agriculture Industry. While conventional agriculture uses synthetic pesticides and water-soluble synthetically purified fertilizers, organic farmers are restricted by regulations to using natural pesticides and fertilizers.
The principal methods of organic farming include crop rotation, green manures and compost, biological pest control, and mechanical cultivation. These measures use the natural environment to enhance agricultural productivity: legumes are planted to fix nitrogen into the soil, natural insect predators are encouraged, crops are rotated to confuse pests and renew soil, and natural materials such as potassium bicarbonate and mulches are used to control disease and weeds. Those methods are "organic" with costs, the production costs have dramatically increased due to the lack of uses in synthetic pesticides and water-soluble synthetically purified fertilizers. Without the conventional pesticide, harvest ratio is not guaranteed and farmers have to use alternative pest control methods which cost a lot more.
U.S. Deputy Secretary of Agriculture Kathleen Merrigan predicts strong, steady growth for organic farming, but said it can only happen if young farmers get involved. And the new organic technologies are the key to attract younger farmers.
The industry is seeking leading pioneers in researching how to produce more, while using less energy and doing less harm to the environment.

Place the solution into lab blenders and blend at low speed for 15 (+-1 ) hours. 2. Place the blended solution into filtration machine twice.
3. Dissolve fine grinded Selenium salt and Azadirachtin (0.6%) + Matrine (0.4%) - A 1 % active ingredients herbal pesticide into filtered solution before packaging. Note: This low cost solution is easy to dilute, transport and apply. It is environmental friendly which contains no harmful residues after application.

The theory & the benefits
The presented invention contains selenium salt. The presented invention is to be diluted and sprayed onto the crop leaf surface. Selenium rapidly enters into plant cells in the process of plant photosynthesis, trigger special physiological activity by stimulating cellular proteases, accelerated cell rejection, while accelerating the pesticides aging of the polymer molecular chains of hydrocarbons, fracture in order to make pesticides lose toxicity in the short period of time. Novel Application System is an invention in organic agriculture. It is also an applied science. It is a dynamic ecological protection system dedicated to the crop growth period to achieve organic agriculture standards. It is divided into two parts: formula and comprehensive application methodology. We have included 2 invention formulas in this invention; (Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer & Novel Soil Improver) the comprehensive application methodology fine-tunes the preparation formula, microorganisms and humic acid soil improvement measures, microbiological water purification measures... etc. These two is the organic combination of the multifunctional ecological protection system and are indispensable.
Novel formula has two parts: Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer & Novel Soil Improver. These two parts can be applied individually, and or together. Application varies on different crops, water conditions, soil conditions, air conditions and geographical location of the plantation.
The Basic Principle of Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer. The liquid formula's key ingredient Selenium contains special optical and electrical properties which can stimulate plant cell enzymes to activate its physiological activity to receive the following results:
1 . Effectively reduces/removes pesticide residues without degrading the effectiveness of regular pesticide. The organic Selenium also helps to accelerate the pesticide's (polymer hydrocarbon compounds) aging and breaking-down of its molecular chains so that the pesticide residues can lose toxicity in a much shorter period of time. After this accelerated aging process, molecular chains change their structures, broken down into the nature of the basic elements of carbon and hydrogen. It is not a chemical reaction so does not produce "derivatives" which might become the secondary pollution. This process reduces/removes harmful pesticide residues and heavy metals.
II. Novel Systems' Application and Adjustments Methodology
1 . General guide line:
Prior to application of Novel system, we have to adjust the formula and or, add additional ingredients based on the soil status of planted plots (pesticide residues, heavy metals, and other harmful elements... etc.), irrigation water (pollution levels), air quality, as well as cultivated varieties, cropping patterns (use of pesticides and fertilizers variety, quantity, crop growth stage... etc.) and crop single-season production... etc. Novel application System is an applied science.
2. Application methodology
A. Different planting environment -> Novel Soil Improver adjustments
a. Soil pollution
- Heavy metal exceeded safety standard:
Heavy metal excessive level can be caused by different reasons like natural geological causes, man-made causes and the combination of these two. Like in East and South part of China, not to mention other heavy metal pollutants, the average lead contamination exceeded 5 ppm.
Our adjusted Novel soil Improver formula in this kind of situations are:
Humic acid powder 80% (45% of the effective content) + EM bacteria powder 5% (15% of the effective viable 2 χ 10io) + amino acid powder 15% (75% of the effective content) mixed into the Novel Soil Improver and weighed as 10%-50% of the total weight based on the contamination level. Apply the mixture to the crop roots to facilitate heavy metal complexing and soil improvements. The results are significant when the content of harmful elements in the soil is at a high ratio. (Lead≥ 8ppm, and other harmful elements are higher than the standard value of 2 to 5 times) -Severe soil-borne pest problems
Tea seed meal powder (tea seed oil extraction waste, including alkaloids) 3 kg / 10sq meters mixed with Novel Soil Improver. Experiments show that such a match, increased pesticide residues reducing effect by 30% to 50% per unit.
b. Water pollution
The general source of pollution of irrigation water is a chemical wastewater.
Use the formula shown in A. a., by weight and count, and 1 :0.5 ~ 1 :1 (A.a:Novel soil Improver). The key is to utilize humic acid and viable to enhance Novel Soil Improver's power in complexing and phagocytosis harmful elements in contaminated water. The improved irrigation water also contains higher level of beneficial fungi for the growing crops. After appropriate improvement of the irrigation water we coordinate Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer into the Novel Application System in the crop growth period. The sampled crops' pesticide residues can be reduced to the EU (European Union)'s food pesticide residues ND (Not Detected) standard. c. Air pollution: The harmful components in the air are mainly produced by industrial emissions of hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide and in the formation of acid rain.
We will change Novel Soil Improver's and Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer's PH value. By adding a small amount of alkaline substances, such as soda or alkaline fertilizers we increase the PH value of the Novel formulas to 7.5 - 8.5.
One exception here: tea is more likely to grow better in acidic soil. We do not need to adjust Novel formulas as mentioned.

by 5%, or on the contrary decrease of 5%. b. To solanaceous vegetables and tropical fruits susceptible to fungi and viruses, we will increase the doses of Chinese herbal components like L.japonica Thumb. L.hypoglauca Miq. (Honeysuckle) and Plantago asiatica (Plantain), whose functions are sterilization and inhibition of viruses; (Appropriate to increase dosagel O ~ 20% in the ingredients and 8%-10%increase in the total concentration.) c. To crops have broader leaves, wax leaves or wind speed is historically higher, like sweet corns, leafy vegetables... etc, we will add sugar coke and amino acids by 3% each into Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer concentrate. This adjustment will take retention, slow release and foliar fertilization effect. Test proved that the retention agent can extend the period of time that Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer stays on leave surface. This will help to decrease the natural loss of Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer by 30% thus decreases the total costs. d. To Solanaceous vegetables and berry crops, we will increase potassium selenite (K203Se) ratio by 10% and add 1 % - 2% borax powder to the Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer concentrate. Solanaceous vegetables and berry crops consumes more potassium than any other crops in their growth period and borax can help to boost potassium supply and increase harvest rate. With the combination of those ingredients, the harvested produces have increased tastes, texture and volumes.
C. Different cropping patterns (such as plant protection measures, including the use of pesticides and fertilizers varieties and quantities of crop growth conditions... etc.) -> adjustments in formula and application methods a. Application adjusted according to different crop growth periods.
Best practice is to apply Novel System in crops' conversion stages, such as the tillering stage, grain filling stage. (Nutritional growth phase transition to reproductive growth period) This will maximize the effectiveness of the Novel system. The plant cells are most active in those stages and proper application of Novel System in those stages helps to boost the absorption and increase the effectiveness of the Novel system. b. Different crop varieties have different application methods.
Solanaceous vegetables (cucumbers, eggplants, peppers, beans, tomatoes... etc.): After necessary soil and environmental improvement with Novel system and adjusted formula according to the theories stated in A.B. and C, 7 days before crop flowering, apply the adjusted Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer evenly on the leaves surfaces of the crops. Later in the pest control process, mix use Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer (1 :1 proportion) with pesticide in order to reduce costs, optimize labor. Leafy vegetables (cabbage, spinach, lettuce... etc.): After necessary soil and environmental improvement with Novel system and adjusted formula according to the theories stated in A., B, and C, 15 days prior to harvest, mix Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer with 3% sugar coke. Evenly sprayed onto the crop leaves. The added sugar coke is slow-releasing agent of Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer.
Aromatic vegetables (like herbs): since pesticides application is using root irrigation method, Novel soil Improver is the key. Apply adjusted Novel soil Improver with the root pesticides together at the same time. 7 days prior to harvest, spray adjusted Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer.
Tea: generally perennial grafted plants, pesticide residues and heavy metals detected in the leaves have large varieties and volume. Novel system for this kind is very different compare with other annual crops.
First apply Novel Soil Improver with added humic acid and tea meal powder (As shown in A.a.) in the winter prior to planting season (usually by the end of November) to improve soil condition and reduce soil-borne pests; And then in the spring of the planting year (calendar early March), when the tea leaves start budding, spray Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer with added retention agent like sugar coke to the whole leaf buds. This application is very condensed and the concentration is 6-7 times then the original liquid. 15 days after this application is the first collection of spring tea. Tests proved that after application of Novel System, the pesticide residues and heavy metals content in spring tea meet EU tea safety standards. And the shoots leaf thickened with bright green color, final harvest increased by 2%.
Pest usually occurs in early June, spray adjusted Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer once; by the end of the autumn spray again. Total application is three times a year. The summer tea and fall tea (semi-fermented tea) can both achieve Japan and EU tea safety standards.
Grains (rice, oats, wheat... etc.)
After necessary soil and environmental improvement with Novel system and adjusted formula according to the theories stated in A.B. and C, spray Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer twice in the crops' growth period. The first time is in the tillering stage. It increases the effective tiller number and harvest rate. Second time is in the flowering stage, it clears the pesticide residues, removes of heavy metals pollution.
Root crops (potatoes, turnips, beets... etc.)
Early implementation must carry out with Novel Soil Improver. Its function of reducing pesticides residues and heavy metal contamination will be essential to ensure production of healthy organic root crops. The activation of viable and useful trace elements in the soil improvement procedure will promote higher nutrition value of the harvested products. Accompany with the Novel Soil Improver, we will also apply Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer in the crops' growth period.
First apply Novel Soil Improver after 15 days of the first pesticide application, and then apply Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residues Reducer towards the end of the flowering stage. After the second application, according to the number of chemical pesticide application required in the season, evenly divide remaining Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Reducer and apply together with the regular pesticides applications.
Fruits: Fruit plants are perennials. Different fruit plants have different pest control needs. Therefore different Novel system application methods are required.
Novel application System is adjusted according to the fruit tree's estimated harvest volume prior to application. Adjust Novel Soil Improver as discussed in A.a. Apply adjusted Improver in each November to the root depth of the trees but 0.5m-1 m apart from the tree root.
Fully apply (crown to trunk) Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Remover at flowering stage. (The first 3 years.)
Divide the remaining concentrate into even parts and mixed use Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Remover with each pesticide application throughout the fruit growth period.
Fully apply (crown to trunk) Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Remover 15 days prior to harvest. (The first 3 years.)
In the first three years of using Novel system, we suggest fully apply (crown to trunk) Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Remover twice in the growth period in additional to the mixed use with regular pesticide. After 3 years, we only need to mixed use Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Remover with each pesticide application.
Exception to Lychee and Longan fruits: Due to the size of the fruit trees and pest type, we suggest root application of Novel Soil Improver 15 days after the regular root pesticide application. Twice a year or as needed.
D. Different Single-Season Harvest Ratio -> adjustment in Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Remover density
For example:
a. Rice - avg. unit yield 500 kg/667 sq meter: density 6667 ppm
Each 100kg increases in unit yield -> density increases 15%-25%
b. Vegetables - avg. unit yield 2500 kg/667 sq meter: density 3400 ppm
Each 10% increases in unit yield -> density increases 10%
Avg. Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Remover unit density:
Vegetables: 3400 ppm/667sq meter
Fruits: 20,000-40,000/667 sq meter
Rice: 6667/667 sq meter
Tea: 40,000/667 sq meter
Avg. Novel Soil Improver unit density:
Vegetables: 10,000ppm/667sq meter Fruits: 10,000/667sq meter
Rice: 10,000/667sq meter
Tea: 30,000/667sq meter E. Different pesticide application volume->Adjustments in both Novel Soil Improver & Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Remover
With each exceeded pesticide unit application, we suggest 1 additional equal density Novel system application. F. Different geographical area -> Adjustments in both Novel Soil Improver & Novel Chinese Herbal Pesticide Residue Remover.
See Figure 1 . Figure 1 presents, in chart form, various adjustments to the agricultural System, so that the agricultural system can be most closely appropriate for the specific circumstances of the farmer's activity.

GSI: Novel Soil Improver. Application Flow Chart of Novel System. Figure 2 shows a flow chart suggesting the sequence by which the general operation of the novel process would be conducted. Starting on the left side, the farmers, after suitable instruction, which produce soil samples and a detailed planting plan, and send it to the laboratory. The laboratory would conduct an analysis of the soil samples and planting plan, and prepare a prescription describing the specific components and procedures for optimizing the novel agricultural system of the present invention. This would be sent to the factory. The factory would develop unadjusted formulation for the elements of the novel process and develop detailed application instructions. This would be sent back to the farmer for execution of the novel agricultural system. It would be continuous tech- support follow-up between the farmer and a 24/7 hotline, which would provide an ongoing dialogue between the farmer and the hotline, in order to continuously adjust the novel agricultural system to unexpected changes in the agricultural activity. IV. Conclusion
Novel Application System is an invention in organic agriculture. It is also an applied science. It is a dynamic ecological protection system dedicated to the crop growth period to achieve organic agriculture standards.
Novel Application System can be mixed applied with regular pesticides. It will not degrade pesticides' functions.
Novel Application System not only reduces/removes pesticide residues and heavy metal contaminates, but also increases crops' yield and nutritional value.
Novel Application System's low costs organic formula and its easy to follow application methods make it an affordable organic system in modern agriculture. It is obvious that minor changes may be made in the form and construction of the invention without departing from the material spirit thereof. It is not, however, desired to confine the invention to the exact form herein shown and described, but it is desired to include all such as properly come within the scope claimed. The invention having been thus described, what is claimed as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:

Claims

1 . A material for reducing pesticide residue in plants comprising a selenium salt in an aqueous solution having aradirachtin and matrine in which herbal residues are suspended or dissolved.
2. The material of claim 1 wherein said selenium salt is present in an amount of approximately 0.25 to 2.5%
3. The material of claim 2 wherein said selenium salt is selected from the group consisting of potassium selenite and sodium selenite.
4. The material of claim 1 wherein said herbs are selected from the group consisting of L. Japonica Thumb., L. hypoglauca Miq. , Plantago Siatica.
5. The material of claim 1 wherein said aradirachtin is present in a concentration of about .01 %.
6. The material of claim 1 wherein said matrine is present in a concentration of about .01 %.
7. A method of reducing the detectable presence of pesticides on plants comprising the steps of spraying a material on the exposed plant surfaces said material having a selenium salt in a aqueous solution having aradirachtin and matrine in which herbal residues are suspended or dissolved.
8. The method of claim 7 wherein said selenium salt is present in an amount of approximately 0.25 to 2.5%
9. The method of claim 8 wherein said selenium salt is selected from the group consisting of potassium selenite and sodium selenite.
10. The method of claim 7 wherein said herbs are selected from the group consisting of L. Japonica Thumb., L. hypoglauca Miq. , Plantago Siatica.
1 1 . The method of claim 7 wherein said aradirachtin is present in a concentration of about .01 %.
12. The method of claim 7 wherein said matrine is present in a concentration of about .01 %.
13. A material for improving the agricultural features of soil comprising particles of a biodegradable polymer having a mixture of a selenium salt with one or more of the following group of compounds consisting of borate, manganese salt, zinc salt, magnesium salt, and iron salt in aqueous buffers.
14. The material of claim 13 wherein said biodegradable polymers comprise one or more of the following carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose and hydroxypropyl cellulose.
15. The material of claim 13 wherein said particles further comprise a binder.
16. The material of claim 15 wherein said binder is selected from the group attapulgite powder and caramel.
17. The material of claim 13 wherein said selenium salt is potassium selenite.
18. The material of claim 13 wherein said potassium salt is present as approximately 30 to 60 percent of the particle mass.
19. The material of claim 13 wherein said compounds consisting of borate, manganese salt, zinc salt, magnesium salt, and iron salt are independently less than one percent of the particle mass.
20. A method for improving the agricultural features of soil comprising the steps of applying to the soil in the area about the roots of plants to promote growth, particles of a biodegradable polymer having a mixture of a selenium salt with one or more of the following group of compounds consisting of borate, manganese salt, zinc salt, magnesium salt, and iron salt in aqueous buffers.
21 . The method of claim 20 wherein said biodegradable polymers comprise one or more of the following carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose and hydroxypropyl cellulose.
22. The method of claim 20 wherein said particles further comprise a binder.
23. The method of claim 22 wherein said binder is selected from the group attapulgite powder and caramel.
24. The method of claim 20 wherein said selenium salt is potassium selenite.
25. The method of claim 20 wherein said potassium salt is present as approximately 30 to 60 percent of the particle mass.
26. The method of claim 20 wherein said compounds consisting of borate, manganese salt, zinc salt, magnesium salt, and iron salt are independently less than one percent of the particle mass.
27. A kit for promoting the growth of one or more plants comprising a material for reducing plant pesticide residue and an material for improving soil features, said material for reducing pesticide residue in plants comprising a selenium salt in a aqueous solution having aradirachtin and matrine in which herbal residues are suspended or dissolved for application to the plant surfaces exposed above ground, and said material for improving the agricultural features of soil comprising particles of a biodegradable polymer having a mixture of a selenium salt with one or more of the following group of compounds consisting of borate, manganese salt, zinc salt, magnesium salt, and iron salt in aqueous buffers for incorporation into soil about the roots of said plant.
28. A method for promoting the growth of one or more plants comprising the steps of reducing plant pesticide residue by applying a comprising a selenium salt in a aqueous solution having aradirachtin and matrine in which herbal residues are suspended or dissolved for application to the plant surfaces exposed above ground, and applying a particles of a biodegradable polymer having a mixture of a selenium salt with one or more of the following group of compounds consisting of borate, manganese salt, zinc salt, magnesium salt, and iron salt in aqueous buffers for incorporation into soil about the roots of said plant.
