Abstract

Dans un processus de valorisation d'hydrocarbures, une charge d'hydrocarbures est traitée dans un vapocraqueur, et/ou un craqueur catalytique, et/ou un cokeur, et/ou un hydrocraqueur, et/ou reformeur, dans des conditions appropriées pour produire un premier flux comprenant des hydrocarbures oléfiniques et aromatiques. Un deuxième flux composé principalement d'hydrocarbures aromatiques et oléfiniques C4 to C12+ est récupéré dans un premier flux et mélangé audit deuxième flux avec une fraction résiduelle provenant d'un vapocraqueur ou d'une unité de distillation atmosphérique ou sous vide pour produire un troisième flux. Le troisième flux est ensuite soumis à une pyrolyse catalytique dans un réacteur, dans des conditions efficaces pour produire un quatrième flux présentant une teneur en benzène et/ou en toluène accrue par comparaison avec ledit deuxième flux et comprenant un sous-produit d'oléfine C3. Le sous-produit d'oléfine C3 est récupéré et le benzène et/ou le toluène sont récupérés dans le quatrième flux.
