- a mobile instant message refers to a message that can be sent and received without using a mobile messenger application.
- MIM mobile instant message
- users need to install a mobile messenger application on their smart devices, and typical provider brands include KakaoTalk TM and My People TM .
- the mobile messenger application provides information and lists of other users in the “friends” relationship of the smart device, and can designate any one or more of the friends relationship users to send and receive messages in real time.
- the mobile messenger application is optimized for the OS of the smart device.
- the means for entering and sending messages in a mobile messenger does not use a hardware input method.
- the software does not provide its own input means, but calls and uses a virtual keyboard already set in the device by the operating system software of the smart device.
- a smart device refers to a mobile computing device in which a phone function such as a smartphone or a tablet PC is embedded, and a smart TV linked to a smartphone or a tablet PC, and means a device having a virtual keyboard as a software input means. .
- the mobile messenger screen 100 includes a receiver display unit 110, a message display unit 120, and a virtual keyboard region 130 as an input means.
- the user inputs letters, symbols, numbers, etc. in the input window 131 of the virtual keyboard area 130 and presses the send button 132 to send a message to the recipient.
- the created message (transmitted message) is displayed on the message display unit 120.
- the message of the sender is located on the right side and the message sent from the recipient is on the left side.
- the virtual keyboard of the smart device called in the mobile message remains activated until it exits the screen of FIG. 1. This is to provide an environment where users can send and receive messages quickly. In other words, the virtual keyboard is continuously displayed on the screen as shown in FIG.
- FIG. 2 shows a scenario according to the first embodiment of the present invention. This is an example of screen configuration when user inputs and writes message “Hello, KIM” to receiver.
- the transmitted message is displayed in the speech bubble 123 instructing the sender side to the message display unit 120.
- the speech bubble 123 may display a time at which the message was transmitted, and the date display unit 121 may display a date at which the message was transmitted.
- the virtual keyboard area 130 does not disappear from the mobile messenger screen 100 and remains there. And because the message arrives suddenly from the receiver's point of view, it may not be able to reply immediately. As shown in FIG. 2, there is usually a waiting period until the sender sends the first message and receives the first reply message from the receiver.
- the virtual keyboard area 130 remains active as long as the user does not exit the mobile messenger screen 100.
- the present invention displays advertising content on a device screen that is playing (no function). That is, the advertisement content area 140 is formed on the virtual keyboard area 130. Preferably, all or part of the virtual keyboard area 130 may be replaced with the advertisement content area 140.
- the push effect may be maximized by displaying the advertisement content in the entire keyboard region and temporarily stopping the input (in this case, when the advertisement content is touched.
- the advertisement content disappears or the advertisement content disappears when a specific display or a specific portion displayed on the screen is touched).
- a user environment may be guaranteed when an initial message is input and a message is subsequently input.
- the input window portion and / or the transmission button portion of the device may be displayed on the device screen without being classified as advertisement content. At this time, when a user's touch event occurs in the input window portion or the transmit button portion, the device causes the advertisement content to disappear and switches to the keyboard input standby state.
- the advertisement content displayed in the virtual keyboard area may be text, an image, a video, or a combination thereof.
- the advertisement content may be displayed only for a short time.
- the advertising content may have a running time within approximately 3 to 10 seconds. It is also a good idea to terminate the display of advertising content when the recipient returns. This is because even if the advertisement content is continuously displayed, the user may be offended. Because the user needs to reply again, the virtual keyboard is displayed on the screen.
- FIG. 3 is a screen configuration example illustrating such a situation.
- the original reply message from the recipient appears in speech bubble 124.
- the sender and receiver are now in a situation where they can chat in real time and can immediately send and receive messages. Displaying the advertising content in such a situation causes extreme discomfort and inconvenience to the user, so the advertising content of FIG. 2 is not displayed.
- Senders and receivers send and receive messages.
- the sender's message which is a user of this smart device, is indicated by the speech bubbles 125 and 127 on the right side, and the message of the receiver is indicated by the speech bubble 126 on the left axis.
- the second embodiment is a case where a file or URL address information stored in a smart device is transmitted through a mobile messenger. For example, when the user sends URL information linked to a YouTube video through the speech bubble 127, the site is touched until the receiver touches it to activate and watch on the device, and the video is buffered until the content is viewed. It takes time. Even then, the virtual keyboard area 130 remains displayed on the caller's device screen. That is, even in this case, since the virtual keyboard is playing, the advertisement content 141 is displayed again in this situation. As in the first embodiment, all or part of the virtual keyboard area 130 may be replaced with the advertisement content area 140.
- the advertisement content 141 preferably has a running time within approximately 3 to 10 seconds. It is also a good idea to terminate the display of advertising content when the recipient returns. 5 illustrates an example of a screen when the receiver sends a reply message “So gooooood!” Through the speech bubble 129. The display of the advertising content ends and returns to the virtual keyboard area 130 again.
- the advertisement content displayed in the virtual keyboard area of the first and second embodiments may be advertisement content previously stored in the memory of the smart device.
- the advertising content may be downloaded in advance using a separate medium (advertising content application) for downloading the advertising content to the smart device. Alternatively, it can be downloaded in advance through the mobile messenger application installed on the smart device.
- the advertising content may be replaced periodically. For example, when the smart device is connected to the network, that is, when the wireless Internet such as WiFi is activated, the new advertisement content may be downloaded from the advertisement content server to replace the existing advertisement content.
- the advertising content may be stored in a database of a mobile messenger provider server (or advertising content server, hereinafter referred to).
- the mobile messenger server moves the mobile message to the sender's virtual keyboard area immediately before the sender sends the first message as in the first embodiment and immediately before the file or URL address is sent as in the second embodiment.
- the content can be displayed.
- the mobile messenger server can stream to the virtual keyboard area.
- the advertisement content (which can be changed on the server side) can be set in advance by default to have a display time point and a display area.
- the virtual keyboard region 130 in the present invention refers to a keyboard implemented by software of a smart device, and a key input is determined by a user's touch input or an input method corresponding thereto.
- FIG. 4 is an example scenario screen for inputting and transmitting a URL, and a web page to which a video, text, or image is linked may be loaded. This is kind of like sending a file that's linked on the web. Alternatively, a file stored in the sender's smart device may be transmitted. In the screen example of FIG. 4, the file transfer interface is not displayed. This is not shown because the file retrieval interface is undergoing a process of change and evolution in smart devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs. First, it may be displayed as an icon on the screen of FIG. 4. In this case, the second embodiment may be applied.
- the file transfer function may be selected, and the function may be a function of transmitting to the mobile messenger.
- the first embodiment can be applied.
- the execution step of the mobile messenger and the transmission of the initial message (file transfer message) are executed at the same time, at which time the advertisement content may be displayed in the virtual keyboard area.
- the smart messenger application will be preinstalled on the smart device.
- the mobile messenger application may already be included in the OS of the smart device.
- At least one advertisement content may be stored in the memory of the smart device before and after the time when the mobile messenger application is installed in the smart device (a first aspect of the advertisement content storage location).
- one or more pieces of advertisement content may be stored in the advertisement content database of the mobile messenger provider server (or the advertisement content server).
- the smart device executes a mobile messenger (S100).
- the mobile messenger is executed by selecting a mobile messenger icon displayed on the screen of the smart device.
- a list of recipients to send a text message appears on the main screen or sub screen. Select the recipient (S110).
- the smart device When you select a recipient and want to enter a message in the selected recipient, the smart device displays a virtual keyboard on the screen. By using the virtual keyboard to compose a message to the receiver and pressing the send button, the smart device transmits the message to the receiver (S120).
- the message at this time is to define the first message of a single cycle.
- a single period means the beginning and end of a series of messages (chat).
- the single period may be set by time interval. For example, it can be set variously (where numbers can be variously modified):
- One cycle can be set from the time of sending the first message to a specific recipient to one hour after the last message is sent. do);
- One cycle can be set from 2 hours after receiving a message from a specific recipient, from the time of sending the first message (reply message) to the corresponding recipient, until 1 hour after sending the last message;
- One cycle may be set from the time when the previous advertisement content is displayed on the screen to a time after one hour;
- the smart device determines whether the message transmitted in step S120 is the first message of a single period set as described above (S130), and if it is correct, displays the advertisement content in the virtual keyboard area (S140).
- the smart device determines whether a reply message has arrived from the receiver (receiver smart device) (S150), and if the reply message arrives but the preset display time of the advertisement content has not yet elapsed, the display of the advertisement content is forcibly terminated ( S170). Further, even if the reply message has not arrived yet, it is determined whether the display time of the advertisement content has elapsed (S170). If the set time has elapsed, the display of the advertisement content is similarly terminated (S170).
- FIG. 7 shows an example of the overall process of the method for providing advertisement content based on the second embodiment of the present invention.
- the basic principle is the same as the embodiment of FIG.
- the advertisement content is not displayed according to the concept of a single-cycle initial message, but the display of the advertisement content when the sender transmits a file or URL information, which is a third content, using a mobile messenger as a message.
- the smart device executes a mobile messenger (S200). By executing the mobile messenger, the receiver is selected and the message is transmitted and received in real time (S210). The smart device determines whether file or URL information exists in the message (S220).
- the advertisement content is displayed on the virtual keyboard area (S230).
- the smart device determines whether a reply message has arrived from the receiver (receiver smart device) (S240), and if the reply message arrives and the preset display time of the advertisement content has not yet elapsed, the display of the advertisement content is forcibly terminated ( S260). Further, even if the reply message has not arrived yet, it is determined whether the display time of the advertisement content has elapsed (S250). If the set time has elapsed, the display of the advertisement content is similarly terminated (S260). From then on, a normal message transmission and reception procedure is performed (S270).
- the advertisement contents are displayed in the virtual keyboard area at random or in a predetermined order.
- the advertisement content storage location it is based on the scheduling of the mobile messenger provider server or the advertisement content server.
- the customized advertisement content may be displayed based on any one of personalized characteristic information such as the location, age, and gender of the user.
