Definitions
- the present invention relates to a Coriolis flow meter in which manifolds are provided at both ends of a flow tube.
- the Coriolis flowmeter supports both ends of the flow tube through which the fluid to be measured flows, and when vibration is applied around the support point in a direction perpendicular to the flow direction of the flow tube, the flow tube (hereinafter, the flow to which vibration is to be applied).
- This is a mass flow meter that utilizes the fact that the Coriolis force acting on the tube is called a flow tube.
- ⁇ Coriolis flowmeters are well-known, and the shape of the flow tube in the Coriolis flowmeter is roughly classified into a straight tube shape and a curved tube shape.
- manifolds that divide the flow path into two are respectively disposed at both ends of the flow tubes on the inlet side and the outlet side.
- the flow path cross-sectional area at the completion of the branching is twice that of the flow path cross-sectional area on the pipe connection side.
- the circular shape 101 shown in FIG. 12 (a) is a flow path cross-sectional shape on the pipe connection side
- the branch transition shape 102 shown in FIG. 12 (b) is changed to the 8-shaped branch transition shape 103 shown in FIG. 12 (c)
- the shape part to be completed is simple, and as can be seen from the figure, the cross-sectional area increases, and at the completion of branching, the cross-sectional area of the flow path becomes twice that of the cross-sectional area of the pipe connection side (in general, In order to increase the measurement sensitivity of the Coriolis flowmeter, the cross-sectional area of the flow tube is reduced with respect to the cross-sectional area of the pipe. Contracted).

- the cross-sectional area of the channel increases immediately after branching in the same manner as Comparative Example 1, and then contracts relatively rapidly. Therefore, although not particularly shown, the pressure loss in Comparative Example 2 is larger than that in the flow path 15.
- the comparative example 3 which is a plot of “ ⁇ ” mark is an example in which the channel cross-sectional area does not increase. However, the change in the cross-sectional area is not constant, and abrupt contraction occurs in several places. Although not specifically shown, the change in cross-sectional area is not constant, and the pressure loss is larger than that of the flow path 15 even when some of the flow is rapidly contracted.
- the pipe-side opening portion 16, the tube-side opening portion 17, and the channel branching portion 18 are provided as the shape portions related to the channel 15 of the manifold 8, and the tube-side opening portion is formed from the channel branching portion 18. Since each channel cross-sectional area up to 17 is linearly reduced, there is no increase in the channel cross-sectional area, and this has the effect of reducing pressure loss, ie, optimizing.

And an upstream and downstream brace bar 55 and upstream and downstream (inflow and outflow) manifolds 56.
- the Coriolis flow meter 51 is installed in the middle of a pipe (not shown) via the manifold 56.
- the manifold 56 has the characteristics of the manifold 8 (see FIG. 3) of the first embodiment.
- the flow path 57 has a flow path cross-sectional area that does not increase.
- the flow path 57 is formed to have a bent shape 58 because the pair of flow tubes 52 have a gate shape.
- the number of flow tubes 2 (52) is two, but is not limited to this, and may be four, six, or the like. Note that the present invention can be applied to three or five (in this case, the structure as a flow meter becomes complicated).
