Description

分组域短信的实现方法、 系统和用户设备
技术领域
本发明涉及第三代合作伙伴计划 ( 3GPP , 3rd Generation Partnership Project ) 的短信(SMS, Short Message Service ) 实现技术, 尤其涉及一种分 组域 (PS , Packet Switch domain)短信在演进分组系统 (EPS , Evolved Packet System)中的实现方法、 系统和用户设备。
背景技术
移动通信网络业务从技术实现上可以分成两类: 一是电路交换(CS ,
Circuit Switch )业务,如话音业务和短信( SMS )业务;二是分组交换( PS, Packet Switch )业务, 如网页浏览业务。
为了有效地利用移动网络资源, 3GPP提出了长期演进( LTE, Long Term Evolution ) , LTE是完全基于分组的系统架构, 通过分组架构支持实时业务 和语音会话业务。 基于 LTE的系统称为演进分组系统, 3GPP的 EPS架构如 图 1所示。
漫游是移动通信网络的一个重要功能, 通过漫游协议, 不同运营商可以 允许用户共享他们的网络, 漫游一般发生在部署在不同地理区域的运营商网 络之间。 为了标识用户所属的原网络和漫游到的新网络, 一般用归属地 home 和拜访地 visited区分二者。 当归属地和拜访地的网络性质相同, 如都是 LTE 或通用移动通信系统 ( UMTS , Universal Mobile Telecommunications System ) 网络, 则称为带内漫游。 即使是带内漫游, 归属地和拜访地网络提供的业务 也可能不同。
短信服务( SMS )是为了通过业务中心 ( SC, Service Centre )在短信实 体(SME, Short Message Entity )和用户设备之间发送信息。 SMS包括移动 主叫(MO, Mobile Originated )和移动被叫(MT, Mobile Terminating )业务, 即包括用户设备发送或者接收信息。 CS短信发送的网络架构如图 2所示, 在 3GPP或 GSM网络外部包括 SME和短信服务-业务中心( SMS-SC ) ,在 3GPP 或 GSM 网络内部包括短消息 -网关移动交换中心 (SMS GMSC )或短信息- 互联移动交换中心( SMS IWMSC )、 SMS路由( Router )、移动交换中心( MSC ) 或拜访位置寄存器(VLR )或服务 GPRS支持节点(SGSN ) 、 移动台 (MS, Mobile Station ) 。
针对 LTE分组接入的要求, 3GPP提出了 PS-only SMS的需求, 即 SMS 通过 PS域实现, 这里的 PS-only包括两种情况: 一是 SMS只能通过 PS域实 现, 即 PS-only; 二是如果 SMS不能通过 PS实现, 也可以通过 CS实现, 即 PS-preferred„
目前 3GPP中的 SMS可以通过 CS域或 PS域实现, 其中传统的 2/3G网 络一般釆用 CS域短信, 对于 EPS系统, 核心网釆用分组架构, 实现 EPS短 信有以下几种方案: SMS over IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem, IP多媒体子系 统), 电路域回落( CSFB, CS FallBack ) , SMS over SGs等, 图 3给出了 CSFB 和 SMS over SGs的 EPS结构示意图。以上方案都是基于辅助系统或增加分组 域到电路域的接口实现 SMS, 在相关技术中, 对于 EPS中 PS SMS, 还没有 具体的解决方案。 对于 LTE带内漫游场景, 如何实现 SMS也没有解决。
发明内容
本发明实施例的主要目的在于提供一种 PS SMS的实现方法、 系统和用 户设备, 能够解决 EPS中 PS SMS实现的问题。
为了解决上述问题, 本发明提供了一种分组域短信实现方法, 包括: 移动管理实体收到用户设备发送的包含只为短信服务 SMS-only指示的 请求消息后, 向归属用户服务器查询所述用户设备的签约信息, 接收所述归 属用户服务器返回的所述用户设备的签约信息; 以及
当所述移动管理实体支持分组域短信, 以及所述签约信息支持分组域短 信时, 所述移动管理实体向所述用户设备发送接受请求消息, 所述移动管理 实体与所述用户设备之间通过分组域收发短信。
上述方法还可具有以下特点, 所述方法还包括: 所述移动管理实体支持 分组域短信时, 所述移动管理实体还向所述归属用户服务器发送支持分组域 短信的指示;

所述移动管理实体设置成, 收到用户设备发送的包含只为短信服务 SMS-only指示的请求消息后, 向所述归属用户服务器查询所述用户设备的签 约信息, 接收所述归属用户服务器返回的所述用户设备的签约信息; 当所述 移动管理实体支持分组域短信, 以及所述签约信息中支持分组域短信时, 所 述移动管理实体向所述用户设备发送接受请求消息, 并与所述用户设备之间 通过分组域收发短信; 以及

注册单元, 其设置成在归属用户服务器注册所述用户设备是否支持分组 域短信的签约信息;
请求单元,其设置成向移动管理实体发送包含只为短信服务 SMS-only指 示的请求消息; 以及 短信收发单元, 其设置成收到移动管理实体发送的接受请求消息后, 与 所述移动管理实体通过分组域收发短信。
上述用户设备还可具有以下特点, 所述用户设备是设置成: 与所述移动 管理实体之间通过分组域非接入层信令收发短信。
本发明实施例提供了一种在 EPS中 PS SMS的实现方法: 用户设备 (UE) 向移动管理实体 (MME)发送 SMS-only指示, MME根据签约数据和自身能力 向用户设备发送响应, 如果 MME和用户设备支持 PS SMS, 则通过 PS域收 发,否则通过电路域或者 SGs接口收发。本发明实施例同时还公开了一种 EPS 中 PS域 SMS的实现系统和用户设备。 通过本发明实施例的方案, 能够解决 PS域 SMS在 EPS系统的实现问题。 附图概述

本发明实施例提供一种分组域短信实现方法, 包括:
移动管理实体收到用户设备发送的包含只为短信服务 SMS-only指示的 请求消息后, 向归属用户服务器查询所述用户设备的签约信息, 接收所述归 属用户服务器返回的所述用户设备的签约信息; 以及
当所述移动管理实体支持分组域短信, 以及所述签约信息支持分组域短 信时, 所述移动管理实体向所述用户设备发送接受请求消息, 所述移动管理 实体与所述用户设备之间通过分组域收发短信。
其中, 所述方法还包括: 所述移动管理实体支持分组域短信时, 所述移 动管理实体还向所述归属用户服务器发送支持分组域短信的指示;

本发明的系统架构如图 4所示, 其中 MME支持 SMS功能, MME通过 E接口连接到 GMSC/IWMSC收发 SMS, MME通过 S6a接口连接到 HSS; 带内漫游场景下, MME可以通过 SGs接口实现 SMS收发, 可通过 D接口获 取 SMS签约信息。
实施例一
本实施例针对本地非漫游的场景, 实现一种 PS SMS的实现方法,如图 5 所示, 包括:
步骤 501 , UE发起联合附着 /位置更新 (combined Attach/TAU)请求, 在请 求消息中包含 SMS-only指示;
所述联合附着是指: EPS/IMSI attach,其中 IMSI attach是为了 SMS-only; 所述位置更新是指: TAU/LAU;
所述 combined attach/TAU发送到相应的 MME。
除联合附着 /位置更新消息外, 本领域技术人员可能容易想到其它请求也 可以包含只为短信服务 SMS-only指示, 如: 业务请求或新建立的其它请求消 息。
步骤 502, MME向 HSS查询 UE的签约信息, MME支持 PS SMS时, 向 HSS发送支持 PS SMS的指示;
其中, 可以在查询签约信息时携带支持 PS SMS的指示, 也可以单独发 送。 所述 MME是指 UE所在区域的服务 MME, 本实施例中, 所述 MME支 持 PS SMS功能;
所述 MME收到 UE的 combined attach/TAU请求消息, 通过 S6a接口向 HSS查询 UE的签约信息; 所述 HSS为 UE的本地 HSS, 即 UE在所述 HSS 中保存了签约信息; 所述签约信息包含 PS-only相关信息;
所述 MME向所述 HSS发送支持 PS SMS的指示信息, 此时 MME作为 实现 SMS的 MSC在 HSS注册, 如果后续 UE注册到新的 MSC, 则 HSS用 新的 MSC替代 MME作为实现 SMS的实体。
步骤 503 ,所述 MME判断签约信息是否为 PS-only/PS-preferred,如果是, 转向步骤 504, 如果否, 转向步骤 506;
具体的, PS-only签约信息包括以下两种: 只支持分组域短信 PS-only, 分 组域短信优先 PS-preferred。 其中 PS-only是指 UE只能通过 PS获取服务, 包 括 SMS; PS-preferred是指当 PS域为不可用时, UE可通过 CS域获取服务, 包括 SMS;
具体的, MME通过 S6a接口获取 PS-only签约信息, 如果存在 PS-only 签约信息, 说明 UE支持 PS SMS, 否则 UE不支持 PS SMS。
步骤 504 , MME向 UE发送 combined Attach/TAU接受消息;
所述接受消息中至少包含以下信息: 位置区域标识 LAI; 其中 LAI为非 广播 LAI, 所述 LAI不关联到任何拜访位置寄存器 VLR;
所述接受消息中还包括: 临时移动用户标识 TMSI; 其中 TMSI为保留的 所述接受消息中还包括: IMSI attach的目的是 SMS-only。
步骤 505 , MME和 UE之间釆用 PS NAS信令收发短信, 流程结束。 所述短信被封装在 NAS信令中, 并在 MME和 UE之间收发; 如果所述 UE处于 RRC Idle模式,则 MME首先发起寻呼或者等待 UE连接到网络之后, 再向 UE发送 PS MT-SMS ( Mobile Terminated- SMS, 被叫短信) 。
步骤 506, 根据现有 combined Attach/TAU流程继续进行, SMS通过 CS 域传输。 具体的, UE发起位置更新请求, 注册到 VLR, 完成 CS域的注册 /更新 过程, SMS通过 CS域传输。
上述实施例中,如果 MME不支持 PS SMS,且 UE的签约信息是 PS-only, 则 MME拒绝 UE的 combined Attach/TAU; 如果 MME不支持 PS SMS, 且 UE的签约信息是 PS-preferred, 则 MME和 UE之间通过 CS域传输短信。
实施例二
本实施例针对带内漫游且归属地网络不支持 PS SMS场景, 实现一种 PS SMS的处理方法, 如图 6所示, 该方法包括以下几个步骤:
步骤 601 , UE发起联合附着 /位置更新 (combined Attach/TAU)请求, 在该 请求消息中包含 SMS-only指示;
本步骤与步骤 501相同, 这里不再赘述。
步骤 602 , 拜访地 MME ( visited MME )通过 D接口获取 HSS上的 SMS 签约信息;
由于归属地网络不支持 PS SMS,所以在 S6a接口不提供 SMS签约信息; visited MME通过 D接口获取 HSS上的 SMS签约信息;如果所述 visited MME 集成了 MSC功能, 则 visited MME直接通过 D接口获取 SMS签约信息, 否 则 MSC通过 D接口获取 SMS签约信息,再通过 SGs接口发送到 visited MME。
步骤 603 , visited MME是否支持 PS SMS, 如果是, 则执行步骤 604, 如 果否, 则执行步骤 608;
所述支持 PS SMS是指 MME和 GMSC/IWMSC之间有 E接口,所述 MME 可以通过 E接口收发短信, 同时所述 MME可以将短信封装到 NAS信令中, 或者从 NAS信令中解析出短信。
步骤 604, Visited MME向 HSS发送支持 PS SMS指示;
所述 visited MME通过 D接口向 HSS发送支持 PS SMS指示信息; 如果所述 visited MME集成了 MSC功能, 则 visited MME直接通过 D接 口向 HSS发送信息, 否则 visited MME通过 SGs接口发送指示信息到 MSC, 然后 MSC通过 D接口向 HSS发送信息。
步骤 605,签约信息是否为 PS-only/PS-preferred,如果是, 转向步骤 606, 如果否, 转向步骤 608;
本步骤与步骤 503相同, 这里不再赘述。
步骤 606 , visited MME向 UE发送 combined Attach/TAU接受消息; 本步骤与步骤 504相同, 这里不再赘述。
步骤 607 , 短信釆用 PS NAS信令在 MME和 UE之间收发, 流程结束; 本步骤与步骤 505相同, 这里不再赘述。
步骤 608 , visited MME和 UE通过 SGs接口收发短信, 流程结束。 所述 SGs接口可以位于 MME和 MSC之间 , 或者位于 MME内部 , 如果 所述 SGs位于 MME内部, 则所述 MME集成了 MSC功能;
所述 SGs位于 MME和 MSC server之间, SGs用于 EPS与 CS域之间的 移动管理和寻呼流程, 基于 Gs接口 ( SGSN-MSC server ) 流程。 SGs还用于 传输 MO/MT SMS。
所述通过 SGs接口收发短信釆用相关技术中的步骤, 这里不再赘述。
实施例三
本实施例针对带内漫游且拜访地网络不支持 PS SMS场景, 实现一种触 发信息中有效时间的处理方法, 如图 7所示, 该方法包括以下几个步骤: 步骤 701 , UE发起联合附着 /位置更新 (combined Attach/TAU)请求, 在请 求消息中包含 SMS-only指示;
本步骤与步骤 501相同, 这里不再赘述。
步骤 702 ,拜访地 visited MME通过 D接口获取 HSS上的 SMS签约信息; 所述 visited MME不支持 PS SMS, 因此无法通过增强的 S6a接口获取 SMS签约信息, 则 visited MME通过 D接口获取 SMS签约信息;
如果所述 visited MME集成了 MSC功能, 则 visited MME直接通过 D接 口获取 SMS签约信息, 否则 MSC通过 D接口获取 SMS签约信息, 再通过 SGs接口发送到 visited MME。
步骤 703 , 签约信息是否为 PS-only, 如果是, 转向步骤 704, 如果否, 则转向步骤 705;
如果所述签约信息为 PS-only, 则无法实现 PS SMS;
如果所述签约信息为 PS-preferred, 则通过 SGs接口实现 SMS。
步骤 704, visited MME向 UE发送拒绝 IMSI attach/LAU消息 ,流程结束。 所述拒绝消息包括:拒绝原因;拒绝原因为 visited MME不支持 PS SMS, 且签约信息要求 PS-only。
步骤 705 , visited MME向 UE发送 combined Attach/TAU接受消息; 所述接受消息包含: IMSI attach for SMS-only指示; 所述接受消息还包 括相关技术中的信息, 如 LAI, TMSI等, visited MME向 VLR发起位置更新 请求, 这里不再赘述。
步骤 706 , visited MME和 UE通过 SGs接口收发短信 , 流程结束。
本步骤与步骤 608相同, 这里不再赘述。
本发明还提供一种 PS SMS的处理系统, 如图 8所示, 所述系统包括: 移动管理实体 MME 81、归属用户服务器 HSS82,还可包括,用户设备 UE83; 其中,
MME41 ,设置成接收 UE83发送的联合附着 /位置更新请求消息,向 HSS82 请求签约信息和发送支持 SMS的指示信息,接收 HSS82发送的 UE的签约信 息;当自身支持分组域短信,以及所述签约信息中支持分组域短信时,向 UE83 发送联合附着 /位置更新接受消息,与 UE83通过分组域的 NAS信令收发短信; 产生 SMS计费信息; 还设置成, 与所述 UE83之间通过分组域收发短信前, 发送联合附着 /位置更新接受消息;所述联合附着 /位置更新接受消息中包含以 下信息: 位置区域标识 LAI; 所述 LAI为非广播 LAI, 该 LAI不关联到拜访 位置寄存器 VLR; 临时移动用户标识 TMSI, 所述 TMSI为保留的 TMSI; 以 及国际移动用户标识 IMSI附着的目的是只为短信服务 SMS-only。 HSS82, 设置成存储 MME81和 UE83的签约信息, 接收 MME81的查询 请求和支持 SMS的指示, 向 MME81发送 UE83的签约信息; MME81注册 到 HSS82, HSS82将 MME81作为一个实现 SMS的短信服务节点(比如 MSC ) 进行注册, 当 UE83注册到新的 MSC时, HSS82用新的 MSC更新 MME81 用于实现 SMS;
UE83 , 设置成向 HSS82发送签约信息, 向 MME81发送联合附着 /位置 更新请求消息; 接收 MME81发送的联合附着 /位置更新接受消息; 通过分组 域收发短信。
MME81可以是拜访地的 MME, 也可以是归属地的 MME。
MME81还设置成, 当自身支持分组域短信且所述 UE83的签约信息中不 支持分组域短信; 或者, 自身不支持分组域短信且所述 UE83 的签约信息为 分组域短信优先 PS-preferred时,与所述 UE83之间通过电路域或 SGs接口收 发短信; 和 /或,
当自身不支持分组域短信且所述 UE83 的签约信息为只支持分组域短信 PS-only , 拒绝所述 UE83的联合附着 /位置更新请求。
本发明还提供一种实现 PS SMS的用户设备, 如图 9所示, 该用户设备 包括: 请求单元 91、 短信收发单元 92和注册单元 93; 其中,
请求单元 91 , 设置成向 MME81发送联合附着 /位置更新请求消息; 短信收发单元 92,设置成收到 MME81发送的附着 /位置更新接受消息后, 与所述移动管理实体通过分组域收发短信。 具体的, 通过非接入层信令收发 短信。
注册单元 93 ,设置成在 HSS注册所述用户设备是否支持分组域短信的签 约信息.

本发明实施例提供了一种在 EPS中 PS SMS的实现方法: 用户设备 (UE) 向移动管理实体 (MME)发送 SMS-only指示, MME根据签约数据和自身能力 向用户设备发送响应, 如果 MME和用户设备支持 PS SMS, 则通过 PS域收 发,否则通过电路域或者 SGs接口收发。本发明实施例同时还公开了一种 EPS 中 PS域 SMS的实现系统和用户设备。 通过本发明实施例的方案, 能够解决 PS域 SMS在 EPS系统的实现问题。

Claims

权 利 要 求 书
1、 一种分组域短信实现方法, 其包括:
移动管理实体收到用户设备发送的包含只为短信服务 SMS-only指示的 请求消息后, 向归属用户服务器查询所述用户设备的签约信息, 接收所述归 属用户服务器返回的所述用户设备的签约信息; 以及
当所述移动管理实体支持分组域短信, 以及所述签约信息支持分组域短 信时, 所述移动管理实体向所述用户设备发送接受请求消息, 所述移动管理 实体与所述用户设备之间通过分组域收发短信。
2、 如权利要求 1所述的方法, 所述方法还包括: 所述移动管理实体支持 分组域短信时, 所述移动管理实体还向所述归属用户服务器发送支持分组域 短信的指示;
所述归属用户服务器收到所述支持分组域短信的指示后, 将所述移动管 理实体作为所述用户设备的短信服务节点进行注册。
3、 如权利要求 1所述的方法, 其中, 所述移动管理实体与所述用户设备 之间通过分组域收发短信的步骤包括:
所述移动管理实体与所述用户设备之间通过分组域非接入层信令收发短 信。
4、 如权利要求 1至 3任一所述的方法, 其中, 所述接受请求消息中包含 以下信息: 位置区域标识 LAI; 所述 LAI为非广播 LAI, 且所述 LAI不关联 到拜访位置寄存器 VLR; 临时移动用户标识 TMSI, 所述 TMSI 为保留的 TMSI; 以及国际移动用户标识 IMSI附着的目的是只为短信服务 SMS-only。
5、 如权利要求 1所述的方法, 其中, 所述方法还包括:
当所述移动管理实体支持分组域短信且所述用户设备的签约信息中不支 持分组域短信; 或者, 所述移动管理实体不支持分组域短信且所述用户设备 的签约信息为分组域短信优先 PS-preferred时,所述移动管理实体与所述用户 设备之间通过电路域或 SGs接口收发短信; 和 /或,
当所述移动管理实体不支持分组域短信且所述用户设备的签约信息为只 支持分组域短信 PS-only, 所述移动管理实体拒绝所述用户设备的包含只为短 信服务 SMS-only指示的请求。
6、 如权利要求 1至 3、 5任一所述的方法, 其中, 所述移动管理实体为 所述用户设备的归属地的移动管理实体, 或者, 为所述用户设备的拜访地的 移动管理实体。
7、如权利要求 1至 6所述的方法,其中,所述包含只为短信服务 SMS-only 指示的请求消息为联合附着 /位置更新请求消息。
8、一种分组域短信实现系统,其包括:移动管理实体和归属用户服务器, 其中:
所述移动管理实体设置成, 收到用户设备发送的包含只为短信服务 SMS-only指示的请求消息后, 向所述归属用户服务器查询所述用户设备的签 约信息, 接收所述归属用户服务器返回的所述用户设备的签约信息; 当所述 移动管理实体支持分组域短信, 以及所述签约信息中支持分组域短信时, 所 述移动管理实体向所述用户设备发送接受请求消息, 并与所述用户设备之间 通过分组域收发短信; 以及
所述归属用户服务器设置成, 存储所述用户设备的签约信息; 接收到所 述移动管理实体查询所述用户设备的签约信息的请求后, 返回所述用户设备 的签约信息给所述移动管理实体。
9、 如权利要求 8所述的系统, 其中, 所述移动管理实体还设置成: 当所 述移动管理实体支持分组域短信时, 向所述归属用户服务器发送支持分组域 短信的指示;
所述归属用户服务器还设置成, 收到所述支持分组域短信的指示后, 将 所述移动管理实体作为所述用户设备的短信服务节点进行注册。
10、 如权利要求 8所述的系统, 其中, 所述移动管理实体是设置成: 与 所述用户设备之间通过分组域非接入层信令收发短信。
11、 如权利要求 8至 10任一所述的系统, 其中, 所述接受请求消息中包 含以下信息: 位置区域标识 LAI; 所述 LAI为非广播 LAI, 所述 LAI不关联 到拜访位置寄存器 VLR; 临时移动用户标识 TMSI, 所述 TMSI 为保留的 TMSI; 以及国际移动用户标识 IMSI附着的目的是只为短信服务 SMS-only。
12、 如权利要求 8所述的系统, 其中,
所述移动管理实体还设置成:
当所述移动管理实体支持分组域短信且所述用户设备的签约信息中不支 持分组域短信; 或者, 所述移动管理实体不支持分组域短信且所述用户设备 的签约信息为分组域短信优先 PS-preferred时,与所述用户设备之间通过电路 域或 SGs接口收发短信; 和 /或,
当所述移动管理实体不支持分组域短信且所述用户设备的签约信息为只 支持分组域短信 PS-only, 拒绝所述用户设备的包含只为短信服务 SMS-only 指示的请求。
13、 如权利要求 8至 10、 12任一所述的系统, 其中, 所述移动管理实体 为所述用户设备的归属地的移动管理实体, 或者, 为所述用户设备的拜访地 的移动管理实体。
14、 如权利要求 8 至 13 所述的系统, 其中, 所述包含只为短信服务 SMS-only指示的请求消息为联合附着 /位置更新请求消息。
15、 一种用户设备, 其包括:
注册单元, 其设置成在归属用户服务器注册所述用户设备是否支持分组 域短信的签约信息;
请求单元,其设置成向移动管理实体发送包含只为短信服务 SMS-only指 示的请求消息; 以及 短信收发单元, 其设置成收到移动管理实体发送的接受请求消息后, 与 所述移动管理实体通过分组域收发短信。
16、 如权利要求 15所述的用户设备, 其中, 所述用户设备是设置成: 与 所述移动管理实体之间通过分组域非接入层信令收发短信。
