Description

Aqueous drawing material composition
In the present invention, as in the case of conventional emulsion paints, after the coating film is dried, even if water droplets adhere to the coating film, the coating film does not bleed or dissolve, and the coating film is overlaid on the underlying coating film. Even if it is painted, the base does not bleed or dissolve, that is, it has resistance to water so that the base does not move, yet it adheres to the palette or paintbrush, dries, and has passed for a long time. The present invention also relates to an aqueous drawing material composition that can be removed later by washing with water.
An aqueous drawing material composition conventionally known as an emulsion paint is a kind of aqueous drawing material composition having water as a solvent, a pigment as a colorant, and a resin emulsion as a fixing agent. Then, after the coating film is formed, if the solvent evaporates from the coating film and the coating film dries, the resin in the emulsion is formed into a film, which is insoluble on the drawing surface, and therefore against water wetting. A coating film having resistance is formed.
As described above, such a conventional emulsion paint contains a large amount of resin emulsion so that the coating film has excellent resistance to water wetting (see Patent Documents 1 and 2). Once dried, it cannot be removed by washing with water.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems in conventional emulsion paints, and, as with conventional emulsion paints, even if water droplets adhere to the dried paint film, It doesn't melt out, and even if it's overcoated on the underlying film, it has resistance to water so that the base doesn't move, yet it adheres to the palette and paintbrush, dries, An object of the present invention is to provide an aqueous drawing material composition that can be removed by washing even after the period has elapsed.
According to the present invention, in the aqueous drawing material composition comprising water, a color pigment, a water-soluble resin containing hydroxyalkyl cellulose and a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin, and a resin emulsion, the water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin is converted into a styrene-acrylic resin. An aqueous drawing material composition comprising 0.5 to 6.5% by weight in terms of conversion and containing the resin emulsion in a range of 0.1% by weight or more and less than 5% by weight in terms of solid content Is provided.
According to the present invention, such an aqueous drawing material composition preferably contains hydroxyalkyl cellulose in the range of 0.1 to 10% by weight.
The aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention contains a resin emulsion in a range of 0.1% by weight or more and less than 5% by weight in terms of solid content, and water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin 0.5 to Since it contains 6.0% by weight and hydroxyalkyl cellulose, as with conventional emulsion paints, even if water droplets adhere to the dried coating film, the coating film does not bleed or dissolve, and the base coating Even if it is overcoated on the film, it has water resistance to the extent that its base does not move, yet it adheres to the palette and paintbrush, dries, and even after a long time has passed, it is removed by washing with water be able to.
Hereinafter, in the present invention, for the sake of simplicity, after the coating film of the aqueous drawing material composition is dried, even if water droplets adhere to the coating film, the coating film does not bleed or dissolve, The property that has resistance to water wetting to the extent that the base does not move even if it is overcoated on the coating is called "water resistance", and after the aqueous drawing material composition adheres to the palette or paintbrush and dries However, the property that the drawing composition can be removed by washing with water is called “washing property”. That is, the coating film formed by the aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention has both water resistance and water washability after drying.
The aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention is an aqueous drawing material composition comprising water, a color pigment, a water-soluble resin containing droxyalkyl cellulose and a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin, and a resin emulsion. Is contained in the range of 0.5 to 6.5% by weight in terms of styrene-acrylic resin, and the resin emulsion is contained in the range of 0.1 to 5% by weight in terms of solid content.
Furthermore, the aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention preferably contains hydroxyalkyl cellulose in the range of 0.1 to 10% by weight.
That is, the aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention comprises 0.1 to 10% by weight of hydroxyalkyl cellulose as a water-soluble resin and 0.5 to 6.5% by weight of water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin in terms of styrene-acrylic resin. It is preferable that the combination of these is included. In particular, according to the present invention, the aqueous drawing material composition preferably contains only the combination of the hydroxyalkyl cellulose and the water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin as the water-soluble resin.
(Pigment)
In the aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention, a pigment is used as the colorant. The pigment is not particularly limited, and any conventionally known pigment can be used. Specific examples include, for example, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, carbon black, iron black, aniline black, Hansa yellow, benzidine yellow, tartrazine lake, permanent yellow toner, cadmium yellow, benzidine orange, chrome vermillion, cadmium orange, and permanent orange. GTR, First Orange Lake, Lake Red C, Petite, Watching Red, Brilliant Carmine 6B, Permanent Red 2B, Permanent Red FRLL, Carmine Lake, Quinacridone Red, Methyl Violet Lake, First Violet B, Quinacridone Violet, Induslen Violet, Phthalocyanine blue, first sky blue, bitumen, ultramarine, Victoria blue lake, phthalocyanine Lee , It may be mentioned marker light green lake, Pigment Green B, viridian, Shen'na, amber, aluminum powder, bronze powder and the like, organic pigments, inorganic pigments and metal powder pigments.
In addition to the above, as colored pigments, colored processed powders combining dyes and pigments with resin powders, fluorescent pigments, pigments with natural mica surfaces coated with metal oxides, and synthetic mica surfaces with metal oxides Examples thereof include pearl pigments coated with.
According to the present invention, the aqueous drawing material composition usually contains such a pigment in the range of 1 to 40% by weight, preferably in the range of 10 to 30% by weight. When the amount of the pigment in the aqueous drawing material composition is less than 1% by weight, the aqueous drawing material composition has a problem of lacking coloring power. However, when the amount exceeds 40% by weight, the viscosity of the resulting aqueous drawing material composition becomes excessively high, and the drawing material composition is poorly stretched during drawing, resulting in poor drawing performance.
Furthermore, according to the present invention, the aqueous drawing material composition may contain extender pigments as necessary in addition to the pigment as the colorant as described above. Examples of such extender pigments include calcium carbonate, kaolin, talc, silica, aluminum silicate, alumina, and barium sulfate. Such extender pigments are used in an amount of 30% by weight or less, preferably 1 to 25% by weight, if necessary.
The aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention preferably contains a thickener. As the thickener, for example, bentonite, metal soap, urethane block polymer, and the like are used, and the thickener is not limited to these examples. Bentonite is particularly preferably used because it does not affect the water resistance and water washability of the coating film of the aqueous drawing material composition.
In the present invention, the thickener is usually used in the range of 10% by weight or less in the aqueous drawing material composition, preferably 0.1 to 10% by weight, particularly preferably 0.5 to 5% by weight. It is used in the range.
(Water-soluble resin)
The aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention contains hydroxyalkyl cellulose and a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin as water-soluble resins.
In the present invention, the hydroxyalkyl cellulose functions as a dispersant for dispersing the pigment in the aqueous drawing material composition, and also functions as a fixing agent for fixing the coating film on the drawing surface in cooperation with the emulsion resin. On the other hand, even when the water-based drawing material composition adheres to the palette or paintbrush and is dried, the water-based drawing material composition has a water-washing property for allowing it to be removed by washing with water, that is, weak water solubility. It works to give things.
In the present invention, the hydroxyalkyl cellulose is preferably at least one selected from hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl ethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, and hydroxypropyl hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose.
The aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention contains such a hydroxyalkyl cellulose in the range of 0.1 to 10% by weight, preferably in the range of 0.1 to 8% by weight. When the amount of hydroxyalkyl cellulose in the aqueous drawing material composition is less than 0.1% by weight, the coating film after drying has water washability, but the fixing property of the coating film is insufficient when drawing. However, when the amount of hydroxyalkyl cellulose in the aqueous drawing material composition is more than 10% by weight, the coating film after drying does not have water resistance, and the resulting aqueous drawing material composition has an excessively high viscosity. In drawing, the aqueous drawing material composition has poor elongation.
In the present invention, the water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin is a copolymer resin represented by a styrene-acrylic acid copolymer, and has acrylic acid as a monomer component. Therefore, the acrylic acid unit in the styrene-acrylic resin in an amount sufficient to make the styrene-acrylic resin water-soluble is converted to an alkali metal hydroxide such as sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, ammonia, or an alkylamine or alkanolamine. It is made water-soluble by making it into a salt structure with such organic amines. In the aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention, the content of the water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin is an amount in terms of styrene-acrylic resin before the acrylic acid unit in the styrene-acrylic resin is converted to an acrylate unit. The aqueous drawing material composition according to the invention contains a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin in a range of 0.5 to 6.5% by weight in terms of styrene-acrylic resin, preferably 0.5 to 5.5% by weight. Include in range.
In the present invention, the water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin is used as a dispersant for dispersing the pigment in the aqueous drawing material composition as well as the hydroxyalkyl cellulose, and the coating film is fixed on the drawing surface in cooperation with the emulsion resin. In particular, the water-based drawing material composition adheres to the palette or paintbrush, dries, and even after a long period of time, it can be removed by washing with water. It functions to impart properties to the aqueous drawing material composition.
Therefore, in the present invention, when the amount of water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin in the aqueous drawing material composition is less than 0.5% by weight in terms of styrene-acrylic resin, the aqueous drawing material composition adheres to the palette or paintbrush. However, it is not possible to effectively give the water-based drawing material composition the water-washing property after drying for a long time.
However, when the amount of the water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin in the aqueous drawing material composition is more than 6.5% by weight in terms of styrene-acrylic resin, the coating film is not fully dried. The coating film does not have sufficient water resistance, and the resulting aqueous drawing material composition has an excessively high viscosity, and the drawing of the aqueous drawing material composition is poor during drawing.
According to the present invention, the aqueous drawing material composition thus includes a combination of a hydroxyalkyl cellulose and a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin as a water-soluble resin, and an aqueous drawing material composition is obtained by combining these resins. In addition to imparting weak water-solubility to the dried coating film, and especially including a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin together with hydroxyalkyl cellulose as the water-soluble resin, the aqueous drawing material composition adheres to the palette or paintbrush and is dried. Thus, even after a long period of time, it can be removed by washing with water.
In particular, according to the present invention, the aqueous drawing material composition comprises only a combination of 0.1 to 10% by weight of hydroxyalkyl cellulose and 0.5 to 6.5% by weight of a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin as a water-soluble resin. It is preferable to include. That is, the aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention contains no water-soluble resin other than hydroxyalkyl cellulose and water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin.
(Resin emulsion)
In the aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention, as described above, the water-soluble resin includes a combination of hydroxyalkyl cellulose and a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin. While providing a weak water solubility to the coating film, a resin emulsion is included so that the same aqueous drawing material composition has water resistance to the dried coating film.
In the present invention, the resin emulsion is not particularly limited, but acrylic resin, vinyl acetate resin, acrylic-styrene resin, vinyl acetate-acrylic resin, ethylene-vinyl acetate resin, vinyl acetate-vinyl versatic acid ester. Resins, emulsions of synthetic resins such as ethylene-vinyl chloride resins, acrylic-belova resins, vinyl chloride resins, vinyl chloride-vinylidene chloride resins, styrene resins are preferably used.
In particular, according to the present invention, an acrylic resin emulsion, a vinyl acetate resin emulsion, or a vinyl acetate-acrylic resin emulsion is most preferable in consideration of the dispersibility of the pigment in the aqueous drawing material composition and the production cost of the aqueous drawing material composition. Used.
Specific examples of such resin emulsions include, for example, acrylic resin emulsions such as Mobile DM772 (manufactured by Nippon Synthetic Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.), TOCRYL W-168 (Toyo Ink Manufacturing Co., Ltd.), Nicazole RX866D (Nihon Carbide). Kogyo Co., Ltd.) and the like. As vinyl acetate-acrylic resin emulsion, for example, Movinyl DM-5 (manufactured by Nippon Synthetic Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.) can be mentioned, and as acrylic-styrene resin emulsion. Examples thereof include Polysol AP-1900 (Showa Denko Co., Ltd.).
The aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention contains such a resin emulsion in the range of 0.1 wt% or more and less than 5 wt% in solid content, preferably 0.2 to 4.9 in solid content. Including in the range of wt%. When the content of the resin emulsion in the aqueous drawing material composition is less than 0.1% by weight in solid content, the coating film formed on the drawing surface may be cracked, and the fixability is not sufficient, Furthermore, the coating film after drying is inferior in water resistance. However, on the contrary, when the content of the resin emulsion in the aqueous drawing material composition is 5% by weight or more in solid content, it is difficult to wash the coated film after drying.
In particular, according to the present invention, the aqueous drawing material composition preferably contains the resin emulsion in the above range, and the styrene-acrylic resin / resin emulsion solid content weight ratio is in the range of 0.22 to 5, more preferably When it is included so that it is in the range of 0.5 to 4.5, most preferably in the range of 1.0 to 2.0, the dry coating film has both water resistance and excellent water washability over a long period of time. You can have it.
According to the present invention, if necessary, a high-boiling organic solvent is usually used so that the above-described resin emulsion can be dried to form a continuous coating film containing the above-described colorant and water-soluble resin. An appropriate amount of a film-forming aid may be included.
(Wetting agent)
According to the present invention, the aqueous drawing material composition includes a wetting agent, if necessary, to prevent freezing and to delay drying. As this wetting agent, for example, urea and its derivatives are preferably used in addition to polyhydric alcohols. Examples of the polyhydric alcohol include glycerin, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, and sorbitol. Examples of the urea derivative include dimethylurea, tetramethylurea, tetraethylurea, and thiourea. Etc.
Such a wetting agent is used in an aqueous drawing material composition in an amount of 20% by weight or less, preferably 1 to 10% by weight, if necessary. When the content of the wetting agent in the aqueous drawing material composition is less than 1% by weight, there is a problem that the coating film formed by the aqueous drawing material composition is brittle after drying. However, when the content of the wetting agent in the aqueous drawing material composition exceeds 20% by weight, the drying property of the coating film formed by the aqueous drawing material composition is poor.
(Surfactant)
The aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention may contain a surfactant, if necessary. As the surfactant, at least one selected from nonionic and anionic surfactants is used in the range of 0.1 to 5% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 3% by weight.
(Other additives)
According to the present invention, the water-based drawing material composition can be prepared by adding various additives conventionally used in the water-based drawing material composition, for example, preservatives, antifungal agents, dispersing agents, antifoaming agents. Etc. may be included.
(Manufacturing)
The aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention is not particularly limited in its production method. An example of a method for producing an aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention is, for example, by dissolving hydroxyalkyl cellulose in water, coloring pigment, extender pigment, water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin, water, if necessary, Add a wetting agent, surfactant, preservative, etc., mix and stir until uniform, then disperse using a roll mill, then add the resin emulsion to the mixture thus obtained, When mixed, stirred and vacuum degassed, an aqueous drawing material composition according to the present invention is obtained.

Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-T000002
As shown in Table 1, according to the present invention, the water-soluble resin contains a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin together with hydroxyalkyl cellulose in the range of 0.5 to 6.5% by weight, and the resin emulsion has a solid content of 0. The water-based drawing material composition contained in the range of 1% by weight or more and less than 5% by weight has excellent water droplet water resistance as in the case of conventional emulsion paints. That is, even if water droplets are attached to the dried coating film, it does not cause bleeding or dissolution, and has a recoating property. Thus, the water-based drawing material composition according to the present invention has water resistance to such an extent that the base does not move even if it is overcoated on the previously dried coating film, yet adheres to the palette or paint brush. Even after one month has elapsed after drying, it can be removed by washing with water.
On the other hand, the aqueous drawing material composition according to Comparative Example 1 contains hydroxyalkyl cellulose as a water-soluble resin, but does not contain a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin, and therefore has poor pallet washability.
The aqueous drawing material composition according to Comparative Example 2 contains a combination of hydroxyalkyl cellulose and a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin as a water-soluble resin, but the content of the water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin is less than the range specified in the present invention. So it is inferior in pallet cleanability.
On the contrary, the aqueous drawing material composition according to Comparative Example 3 contains a combination of hydroxyalkyl cellulose and a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin as a water-soluble resin, but the content of the water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin is within the range specified by the present invention. Therefore, the coating film is inferior in water resistance and overcoatability.

The aqueous drawing material composition according to Comparative Example 4 contains a combination of hydroxyalkyl cellulose and a water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin as a water-soluble resin, but does not contain a resin emulsion, so that the pallet washability is good. Inferior in properties and overcoatability.
