In the figure, the minimum random number and the maximum random number determine a random number range for determining a benefit based on the random number generated by the random number generator for each download request. "Next benefit ID" indicates an ID of a benefit to be determined for the coupon to be downloaded when the coupon for the benefit is determined and the benefit of the coupon to be newly downloaded is determined to be exhausted. The advertisement ID is an ID given to the corresponding store information, and the coupon ID is an ID given to the coupon issuance information. "Total Picked Count" represents the sum of coupons issued for all kinds of benefits.
- coupon use conditions such as coupon use conditions, coupon expiration date, store location coordinates, and the like are additionally stored.
- the data of other fields except the download count and the number of opened coupons cannot be changed.
- the consumer may access the coupon server 100 to inquire a benefit-specific probability calculated based on the information stored in the table of FIG. 22.
- the QR code generation unit 128 of the coupon server 100 may determine an advertisement ID, a coupon ID, a probability for each benefit, an advertiser store name, a coupon name, an advertiser store address, and a store location.
- a QR code including data is generated and transmitted to the issuer terminal 200 (step 412). As will be described later, this QR code may be presented to the consumer in the state of being printed or displayed on the terminal during the authentication process of the coupon.
- Benefits of each lottery coupon transmitted to the consumer terminal 300A at the request of the consumer may be determined at the time of coupon generation, or may be determined during the coupon authentication process at the time of use of the coupon.
- FIG. 23 shows a benefit determination process in an embodiment in which a benefit of each lottery coupon is determined at the time of generating a coupon.
- the benefit of each lottery coupon is randomly determined according to a predetermined probability at the time of generating the coupon.
- the coupon may be generated only when the coupon is not exhausted. That is, in the table of FIG. 22, a coupon is generated only when "Total Picked Count" is smaller than "Number of coupons”.
- the coupon server 100 may prevent confusion in data of the coupon issuance information table 154 of FIG. 22 as coupons are simultaneously downloaded to a plurality of users. To this end, the current probability information for each benefit is temporarily stored in a memory, and an updater lock is performed on the coupon issue information table 154 (steps 450 and 452).
- the coupon server 100 generates a random number within the total coupon issuance range (step 454). For example, in the above example, since the total number of coupon issuance is 1000, a random number is generated within a range of 0 to 999.
- step 458 if it is determined in step 458 that the coupon of the selected record has not been exhausted, the updater lock on the coupon issuance information table 154 is performed by comparing the probability information temporarily stored in step 450 with the current probability information. It is determined whether or not it is maintained (step 462). If the temporarily stored probability information and the current probability information are different from each other, the corresponding coupon generation process is error-processed and terminated (step 464).
- the coupon server 100 releases the updater lock on the coupon issuance information table 154 and "Total Picked Count". Increase the value of and create a coupon.
- the coupon server 100 updates the download count and other related fields for the selected record and stores the generated coupon information in the coupon generation table 156 (step 466).
- the coupon data for the generated coupon is transmitted to the consumer terminal 300A so that the coupon data is stored in the consumer terminal 300A (step 468).
- the benefits of the coupon are encrypted with a password set by the issuer so that the benefits are not exposed.
- the password may be encrypted using a one-way hash function such as MD5 or SHA1.
- the coupon benefit is stored in the coupon server 100 without being transmitted to the consumer terminal 300A in the state determined at the time of generating the coupon, and then exposed in the coupon use authentication process. May be provided to the consumer terminal 300A.
- the benefits of each lottery coupon are randomly determined according to a predetermined probability at the time of generating the coupon. In this case, the coupon may be generated only when the coupon is not exhausted.
- the coupon server 100 temporarily stores current probability information for each benefit in a memory, and performs an updater lock on the coupon issuance information table 154 (steps 470 and 472).
- the probability information temporarily stored in operation 470 is compared with the current probability information to determine whether the updater lock on the coupon issuance information table 154 is maintained. If the temporarily stored probability information and the current probability information are different from each other, the corresponding coupon generation process is error-processed and terminated (step 478).
- the coupon server 100 releases the updater lock on the coupon issuance information table 154 and " Total Picked Count. Increase the value of "and create a coupon with no benefits determined.
- the coupon server 100 updates the number of downloads and other related fields for the selected record, and stores the coupon information whose benefits are undetermined in the coupon generation table 156 (step 480).
- the coupon data for the generated coupon is transmitted to the consumer terminal 300A so that the coupon data is stored in the consumer terminal 300A (step 482).
- the coupon data includes a password set by the issuer, and the password is preferably encrypted using a one-way hash function such as MD5 or SHA1.
- the coupon data includes the type of benefits and probability information for each benefit together with the advertisement ID and the coupon ID.
- coupon data for the corresponding coupon may be determined when the coupon is used and provided to the consumer terminal 300A. That is, the consumer terminal 300A receives a coupon benefit data by transmitting a benefit determination request message to the coupon server 100 when the consumer selects to use the coupon for which the benefit is undecided.
- the coupon server 100 authenticates the use of the coupon, the benefit determination request may be included in the authentication request message.
- the coupon authentication unit 136 of the coupon server 100 may include an advertisement ID and a coupon ID included in the benefit determination request message.
- the updater locks the coupon issuance information table 154 (step 486).
- the coupon server 100 generates a random number within the total coupon issuance range (step 488). For example, in the above example, since the total number of coupon issuance is 1000, a random number is generated within a range of 0 to 999.
- the coupon server 100 releases the updater lock on the coupon issuance information table 154, and generates the coupon issuance information table 154 and coupons.
- the history table 156 is updated (step 496).
- the coupon server 100 transmits the benefit data for the corresponding coupon to the consumer terminal 300A so that the benefit data may be stored in the consumer terminal 300A (step 498).
- exposure to the undisclosed benefits of each lottery coupon is made after a certain use authentication procedure when the coupon is to be used (eg, at the payment stage).
- 26 shows an embodiment of authenticating use by a password registered by the lottery issuer.
- the consumer visits the coupon issuer's store, selects a coupon to be used from among the coupons in the coupon wallet, displays it on the screen, and passes his terminal 300A to the issuer (step 500).
- the issuer enters and returns a password to the consumer terminal 300A (step 502), the "touch" button is touched on the coupon screen (step 504).
- the authentication program executed in the consumer terminal 300A determines whether the password stored in the terminal and the input password match (step 506).
- the comparison of the password may be made of the original value or may be made of a hash value.
- the authentication program may be a client script received from the coupon server 100, or may be an application program installed separately.
- the stored password and the input password is transmitted to the coupon server 100, the comparison may be made in the coupon server 100.
- step 506 If it is determined in step 506 that the two passwords do not match, it is treated as an error and the authentication process ends. On the other hand, if the two passwords match, the unpublished state of the coupon benefits determined in the manner described above is released and the benefit information is displayed on the screen (step 508). Accordingly, the consumer can receive the benefit at the store by using the expressed coupon.
- the consumer terminal 300A transmits a coupon use message including a current location and time to the coupon server 100, and the coupon server 100 reflects the coupon use history in the database 150 ( Step 510).
- the coupon server 100 presents the survey question and accepts the answer according to the consumer's will (step 512).
- FIG. 27 shows an embodiment of authenticating a coupon use under the involvement of a server.
- a usage approval request message is transmitted to the coupon server 100 (step 520).
- Coupon server 100 stores the coupon information in a temporary table for authentication, and adds the coupon data to the approval request list (step 522).
- the coupon information stored in the temporary table may include a coupon ID, an advertisement ID, a user identifier, an IP address of the consumer terminal 300A, and the like.
- step 524 the issuer accesses the coupon server 100 and inquires the approval request list, and then touches the "confirmation" button. Accordingly, the issuer terminal 526 sends the approval consent message to the server 100. (Step 524).
- the coupon server 100 After receiving the approval consent message from the issuer terminal 526, the coupon server 100 transmits a usage approval message to the consumer terminal 300A (step 526).
- the unpublished state of the coupon benefit is released and the benefit information is displayed on the screen (step 528). Accordingly, the consumer can receive the benefit at the store by using the expressed coupon.
