Description

加硫ゴムの製造方法
 本発明は、加硫ゴムの製造方法等に関する。
 米国特許出願公開第2012/101219号明細書には、天然ゴム、充填剤、ステアリン酸、酸化亜鉛及びS−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸のナトリウム塩を混練する工程aと、工程aで得られた混練物、硫黄及び加硫促進剤を混練する工程bと、工程bで得られた混練物を熱処理する工程と、を含む加硫ゴムの製造方法が記載されている。
 本発明は、以下の発明を含む。
[1] ゴム成分及び充填剤を混練する第1A工程と、
 第1A工程で得られた混練物、ステアリン酸、酸化亜鉛、硫黄成分及び加硫促進剤を混練する第2A工程と、

発明の効果
 本発明の加硫ゴムの製造方法によれば、得られる加硫ゴムの粘弾性特性を改善させることができる。
 本発明において「粘弾性特性を改善させる」とは、加硫ゴムの損失係数(tanδ)を改変させること等をいう。
[本発明の第1の形態]
<第1A工程>
 第1A工程では、ゴム成分及び充填剤を混練する。第1A工程では、ゴム成分、充填剤及び式(I)で表される化合物を混練することが好ましい。第1A工程では、ステアリン酸を添加しないことが好ましい。第1A工程では、酸化亜鉛を添加しないことが好ましい。
 第1A工程は、80~200℃で行なわれることが好ましく、110~180℃がより好ましい。
 第1A工程は、1~10分間行なわれることが好ましく、2~7分間がより好ましい。
<第2A工程>
 第2A工程では、第1A工程で得られた混練物、ステアリン酸、酸化亜鉛、硫黄成分及び加硫促進剤を混練する。
 第2A工程は、第1A工程で得られた混練物に、ステアリン酸、酸化亜鉛、硫黄成分及び加硫促進剤を同時に添加して混練する工程であることが好ましい。
 第2A工程は、50~100℃で行なわれることが好ましく、60~90℃がより好ましい。
 第2A工程は、1~10分間行なわれることが好ましく、2~8分間がより好ましい。
<第3A工程>
 第3A工程では、第2A工程で得られた混練物を熱処理する。
 熱処理の温度は、120~180℃が好ましい。熱処理は、通常、常圧又は加圧下で行われる。
 第3A工程の処理時間は、例えば、JIS K 6300−2に準拠して、第2A工程で得られた混練物の90%加硫時間(t(90))を求め、これよりも5~10分長い時間を設定することが好ましい。
[本発明の第2の形態]
<第1B工程>

 第2B工程は、50~100℃で行なわれることが好ましく、60~90℃がより好ましい。

<第3B工程>
 第3B工程では、第2B工程で得られた混練物を熱処理する。

 ゴム成分としては、天然ゴム、エポキシ化天然ゴム、脱蛋白天然ゴムおよびその他の変性天然ゴムのほか、ポリイソプレンゴム(IR)、スチレン・ブタジエン共重合ゴム(SBR)、ポリブタジエンゴム(BR)、アクリロニトリル・ブタジエン共重合ゴム(NBR)、イソプレン・イソブチレン共重合ゴム(IIR)、エチレン・プロピレン−ジエン共重合ゴム(EPDM)、ハロゲン化ブチルゴム(HR)等の各種の合成ゴムが例示され、天然ゴム、スチレン・ブタジエン共重合ゴム、ポリブタジエンゴム等の高不飽和性ゴムが好ましく用いられる。特に好ましくは天然ゴムである。また、天然ゴムとスチレン・ブタジエン共重合ゴムの併用、天然ゴムとポリブタジエンゴムの併用等、数種のゴム成分を組み合わせることも有効である。
 天然ゴムとしては、RSS#1、RSS#3、TSR20、SIR20等のグレードの天然ゴムを挙げることができる。エポキシ化天然ゴムとしては、エポキシ化度10~60モル%のものが好ましく、例えばクンプーラン ガスリー社製ENR25やENR50が例示できる。脱蛋白天然ゴムとしては、総窒素含有率が0.3重量%以下である脱蛋白天然ゴムが好ましい。変性天然ゴムとしては天然ゴムにあらかじめ4−ビニルピリジン、N,N,−ジアルキルアミノエチルアクリレート(例えばN,N,−ジエチルアミノエチルアクリレート)、2−ヒドロキシアクリレート等を反応させた極性基を含有する変性天然ゴムが好ましく用いられる。
 SBRとしては、日本ゴム協会編「ゴム工業便覧<第四版>」の210~211頁に記載されている乳化重合SBRおよび溶液重合SBRを挙げることができる。とりわけトレッド用ゴム組成物としては溶液重合SBRが好ましく用いられ、更には日本ゼオン社製「ニッポール(登録商標)NS116」等の4,4’−ビス−(ジアルキルアミノ)ベンゾフェノンを用いて分子末端を変性した溶液重合SBR、JSR社製「SL574」等のハロゲン化スズ化合物を用いて分子末端を変性した溶液重合SBR、旭化成社製「E10」、「E15」等シラン変性溶液重合SBRの市販品や、ラクタム化合物、アミド化合物、尿素系化合物、N,N−ジアルキルアクリルアミド化合物、イソシアネート化合物、イミド化合物、アルコキシ基を有するシラン化合物(トリアルコキシシラン化合物等)、アミノシラン化合物のいずれかを単独で用いて、または、スズ化合物とアルコキシ基を有するシラン化合物や、アルキルアクリルアミド化合物とアルコキシ基を有するシラン化合物等、前記記載の異なった複数の化合物を2種以上用いて、それぞれ分子末端を変性して得られる分子末端に窒素、スズ、ケイ素のいずれか、またはそれら複数の元素を有する溶液重合SBRが、特に好ましく用いられる。また、乳化重合SBRおよび溶液重合SBRに重合後プロセスオイルやアロマオイル等のオイルを添加した油添SBRは、トレッド用ゴム組成物等として好ましく用いることができる。
 BRとしては、シス1,4結合が90%以上の高シスBRやシス結合が35%前後の低シスBR等の溶液重合BRが例示され、高シスBRは好ましく用いられる。また、日本ゼオン製「Nipol(登録商標)BR 1250H」等スズ変性BRや、4,4’−ビス−(ジアルキルアミノ)ベンゾフェノン、ハロゲン化スズ化合物、ラクタム化合物、アミド化合物、尿素系化合物、N,N−ジアルキルアクリルアミド化合物、イソシアネート化合物、イミド化合物、アルコキシ基を有するシラン化合物(トリアルコキシシラン化合物等)、アミノシラン化合物のいずれかを単独で用いて、または、スズ化合物とアルコキシ基を有するシラン化合物や、アルキルアクリルアミド化合物とアルコキシ基を有するシラン化合物等、前記記載の異なった複数の化合物を2種以上用いて、それぞれ分子末端を変性して得られる分子末端に窒素、スズ、ケイ素のいずれか、またはそれら複数の元素を有する溶液重合BRが好ましく用いられる。これらBRは、トレッド用ゴム組成物やサイドウォール用ゴム組成物として好ましく用いることができ、通常はSBRおよび/または天然ゴムとのブレンドで使用される。ブレンド比率は、トレッド用ゴム組成物においては、総ゴム重量に対して、SBRおよび/または天然ゴムが60~100重量%、BRは40~0重量%が好ましく、サイドウォール用ゴム組成物においては、総ゴム重量に対して、SBRおよび/または天然ゴムが10~70重量%、BRは90~30重量%が好ましく、更には総ゴム重量に対し、天然ゴム40~60重量%、BR60~40重量%のブレンドが特に好ましい。この場合、変性SBRと非変性SBRとのブレンドや、変性BRと非変性BRとのブレンドも好ましい。
<充填剤>
 充填剤としては、ゴム分野で通常使用されているカーボンブラック、シリカ、タルク、クレイ、水酸化アルミニウム、酸化チタン等が例示され、カーボンブラック及びシリカが好ましく、カーボンブラックが特に好ましい。カーボンブラックとしては、日本ゴム協会編「ゴム工業便覧<第四版>」の494頁に記載されるものが挙げられ、HAF(High Abrasion Furnace)、SAF(Super Abrasion Furnace)、ISAF(Intermediate SAF)、ISAF−HM(Intermediate SAF−High Modulus)、FEF(Fast Extrusion Furnace)、MAF、GPF(General Purpose Furnace)、SRF(Semi−Reinforcing Furnace)等が好ましい。タイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物にはCTAB表面積40~250m/g、窒素吸着比表面積20~200m/g、粒子径10~50nmのカーボンブラックが好ましく用いられ、CTAB表面積70~180m/gであるカーボンブラックが更に好ましく、その例としてはASTMの規格において、N110、N220、N234、N299、N326、N330、N330T、N339、N343、N351等である。またカーボンブラックの表面にシリカを0.1~50重量%付着させた表面処理カーボンブラックも好ましい。更には、カーボンブラックとシリカの併用等、数種の充填剤を組み合わせることも有効であり、タイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物においてはカーボンブラック単独あるいはカーボンブラックとシリカの両方を用いることが好ましい。カーカス、サイドウォール用ゴム組成物においてはCTAB表面積20~60m/g、粒子径40~100nmのカーボンブラックが好ましく用いられ、その例としてはASTMの規格において、N330、N339、N343、N351,N550、N568、N582、N630、N642、N660、N662、N754、N762等である。かかる充填剤の使用量は、ゴム成分100重量部あたり5~100重量部の範囲が好ましい。特に好ましくはカーボンブラックのみを充填剤として使用する場合には30~80重量部であり、トレッド部材用途においてシリカと併用して用いる場合には5~50重量部である。
 シリカとしては、CTAB比表面積50~180m/gや、窒素吸着比表面積50~300m/gのシリカが例示され、東ソー・シリカ(株)社製「AQ」、「AQ−N」、デグッサ社製「ウルトラジル(登録商標)VN3」、「ウルトラジル(登録商標)VN3−G」、「ウルトラジル(登録商標)360」、「ウルトラジル(登録商標)7000」、ローディア社製「ゼオシル(登録商標)115GR」、「ゼオシル(登録商標)1115MP」、「ゼオシル(登録商標)1205MP」、「ゼオシル(登録商標)Z85MP」、日本シリカ社製「ニップシール(登録商標)AQ」等の市販品が好ましく用いられる。また、pHが6~8であるシリカやナトリウムを0.2~1.5重量%含むシリカ、真円度が1~1.3の真球状シリカ、ジメチルシリコーンオイル等のシリコーンオイルやエトキシシリル基を含有する有機ケイ素化合物、エタノールやポリエチレングリコール等のアルコールで表面処理したシリカ、二種類以上の異なった窒素吸着比表面面積を有するシリカを配合することも好ましく用いられる。
 充填剤の使用量は、ゴム成分100重量部あたり10~120重量部の範囲が好ましい。またシリカを配合する場合、カーボンブラックを5~50重量部配合することが好ましく、シリカ/カーボンブラックの配合比率は0.7/1~1/0.1が特に好ましい。また通常充填剤としてシリカを用いる場合にはビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド(デグッサ社製「Si−69」)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)ジスルフィド(デグッサ社製「Si−75」)、ビス(3−ジエトキシメチルシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド、ビス(3−ジエトキシメチルシリルプロピル)ジスルフィド、オクタンチオ酸S−[3−(トリエトキシシリル)プロピル]エステル(ジェネラルエレクトロニックシリコンズ社製「NXTシラン」)、オクタンチオ酸S−[3−{(2−メチル−1,3−プロパンジアルコキシ)エトキシシリル}プロピル]エステル及びオクタンチオ酸S−[3−{(2−メチル−1,3−プロパンジアルコキシ)メチルシリル}プロピル]エステルフェニルトリエトキシシラン、メチルトリメトキシシラン、メチルトリエトキシシラン、メチルトリアセトキシシラン、メチルトリブトキシシラン、エチルトリメトキシシラン、エチルトリエトキシシラン、イソブチルトリメトキシシラン、イソブチルトリエトキシシラン、n−オクチルトリメトキシシラン、n−オクチルトリエトキシシラン、ビニルトリメトキシシラン、ビニルトリエトキシシラン、ビニルトリ(メトキシエトキシ)シラン、フェニルトリメトキシシラン、フェニルトリエトキシシラン、フェニルトリアセトキシシラン、3−メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3−メタクリロキシプロピルトリエトキシシラン、3−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3−アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、N−(2−アミノエチル)−3−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N−(2−アミノエチル)−3−アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、(3−グリシドキシプロピル)トリメトキシシラン、(3−グリシドキシプロピル)トリエトキシシラン、2−(3,4−エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチルトリメトキシシラン、2−(3,4−エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチルトリエトキシシラン、3−イソシアナートプロピルトリメトキシシランおよび3−イソシアナートプロピルトリエトキシシランからなる群から選択される1種以上のシランカップリング剤等、シリカと結合可能なケイ素等の元素またはアルコシキシラン等の官能基を有する化合物を添加することが好ましく、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド(デグッサ社製「Si−69」)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)ジスルフィド(デグッサ社製「Si−75」)、3−オクタノイルチオプロピルトリエトキシシラン(ジェネラルエレクトロニックシリコンズ社製「NXTシラン」)が特に好ましい。これらの化合物の添加時期は、シリカと同時期にゴムに配合することが好ましく、配合量はシリカに対して、好ましくは2~10重量%、更に好ましくは7~9重量%である。配合する場合の配合温度は80~200℃が好ましく、更に好ましくは110~180℃の範囲である。更には充填剤としてシリカを用いる場合には、シリカ、シリカと結合可能なケイ素等の元素またはアルコシキシラン等の官能基を有する化合物に加えて、エタノール、ブタノール、オクタノール等の1価アルコールやエチレングリコール、ジエチレングリコール、トリエチレングリコール、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール、ペンタエリスリトール、ポリエーテルポリオール等の2価以上のアルコール、N−アルキルアミン、アミノ酸、分子末端がカルボキシル変性またはアミン変性された液状ポリブタジエン、等を配合することも好ましい。
 水酸化アルミニウムとしては、窒素吸着比表面積5~250m/g、DOP給油量50~100ml/100gの水酸化アルミニウムが例示される。
<ステアリン酸>
 ステアリン酸の使用量は、ゴム成分100重量部あたり0.5~5重量部が好ましく、0.5~3重量部がより好ましい。
<酸化亜鉛>
 酸化亜鉛の使用量は、ゴム成分100重量部あたり0.5~10重量部が好ましく、2~7重量部がより好ましい。
<式(I)で表される化合物(以下、「化合物(I)」という場合がある。)>
(式(I)中、Mn+は、H又はn価の金属イオンを表す。
 nは、1又は2の整数を表す。
 R及びRは、それぞれ独立に、水素原子又は炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表すか、或いは、RとRとが互いに結合して、それらが結合している窒素原子とともに環を形成する。
 mは、2~9の整数を表す。)
 R及びRにおける炭素数1~6のアルキル基としては、メチル基、エチル基、n−プロピル基、イソプロピル基、n−ブチル基、イソブチル基、sec−ブチル基、tert−ブチル基、ヘプチル基、ヘキシル基が挙げられる。
 RとRとが互いに結合して、それらが結合している窒素原子とともに環を形成している場合、RとRとが互いに結合して形成するポリメチレン基としては、エチレン基(ジメチレン基)、トリメチレン基、テトラメチレン基、ペンタメチレン基、ヘキサメチレン基等が挙げられる。R及びRとしては、水素原子が好ましい。
 Mn+としては、H、リチウムイオン、ナトリウムイオン、カリウムイオン、セシウムイオン、マグネシウムイオン、カルシウムイオン、ストロンチウムイオン、バリウムイオン、マンガイオンン、鉄イオン、銅イオン、亜鉛イオン等が挙げられ、好ましくはH、アルカリ金属イオンであり、より好ましくはH、ナトリウムイオンである。
 化合物(I)としては、S−(アミノアルキル)チオ硫酸、S−(アミノアルキル)チオ硫酸塩、S−(N,N−ジアルキルアミノアルキル)チオ硫酸、S−(N,N−ジアルキルアミノアルキル)チオ硫酸塩、S−(N−モノアルキルアミノアルキル)チオ硫酸、S−(N−モノアルキルアミノアルキル)チオ硫酸塩等が挙げられ、好ましくはS−(アミノアルキル)チオ硫酸、S−(アミノアルキル)チオ硫酸塩である。
 S−(アミノアルキル)チオ硫酸としては、S−(アミノエチル)チオ硫酸、S−(アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸、S−(アミノブチル)チオ硫酸、S−(アミノペンチル)チオ硫酸、S−(アミノヘキシル)チオ硫酸、S−(アミノヘプチル)チオ硫酸、S−(アミノオクチル)チオ硫酸、S−(アミノノニル)チオ硫酸等が挙げられる。
 S−(アミノアルキル)チオ硫酸塩としては、S−(アミノエチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(アミノブチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(アミノペンチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(アミノヘキシル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(アミノヘプチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(アミノオクチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(アミノノニル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム等が挙げられる。
 S−(N,N−ジアルキルアミノアルキル)チオ硫酸としては、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノエチル)チオ硫酸、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノプロピル)チオ硫酸、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノブチル)チオ硫酸、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノペンチル)チオ硫酸、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノヘキシル)チオ硫酸、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノヘプチル)チオ硫酸、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノオクチル)チオ硫酸、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノノニル)チオ硫酸等が挙げられる。
 S−(N,N−ジアルキルアミノアルキル)チオ硫酸塩としては、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノエチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノプロピル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノブチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノペンチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノヘキシル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノヘプチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノオクチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N,N−ジメチルアミノノニル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム等が挙げられる。
 S−(N−モノアルキルアミノアルキル)チオ硫酸としては、S−(N−メチルアミノエチル)チオ硫酸、S−(N−メチルアミノプロピル)チオ硫酸、S−(N−メチルアミノブチル)チオ硫酸、S−(N−メチルアミノペンチル)チオ硫酸、S−(N−メチルアミノヘキシル)チオ硫酸、S−(N−メチルアミノヘプチル)チオ硫酸、S−(N−メチルアミノオクチル)チオ硫酸、S−(N−メチルアミノノニル)チオ硫酸等が挙げられる。
 S−(N−モノアルキルアミノアルキル)チオ硫酸塩としては、S−(N−メチルアミノエチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N−メチルアミノプロピル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N−メチルアミノブチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N−メチルアミノペンチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N−メチルアミノヘキシル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N−メチルアミノヘプチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N−メチルアミノオクチル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム、S−(N−メチルアミノノニル)チオ硫酸ナトリウム等が挙げられる。
 化合物(I)は、例えば、3−クロロプロピルアミン塩酸塩とチオ硫酸ナトリウムとを反応させることにより製造することができる。化合物(I)の金属塩を、例えば塩酸や硫酸等のプロトン酸で中和して、化合物(I)を得てもよい。化合物(I)の金属塩は、例えば、3−ハロプロピルアミンとチオ硫酸ナトリウムとを反応させる方法や、フタルイミドカリウム塩と1,3−ジハロプロパンとを反応させ、得られた化合物とチオ硫酸ナトリウムとを反応させ、次いで、得られた化合物を加水分解する方法、等の任意の公知の方法により製造することができる。
 上記のようにして得られた化合物(I)は、例えば、濃縮、晶析等の操作により固体として単離することができる。単離された化合物(I)は、0.1%~5%程度の水分を含むことがある。
 化合物(I)の使用量は、ゴム成分100重量部あたり0.1~10重量部が好ましく、0.3~3重量部がより好ましい。
 化合物(I)は、予め担持剤と配合しておくことも可能である。かかる担持剤としては先に例示した充填剤および日本ゴム協会編「ゴム工業便覧<第四版>」の510~513頁に記載されている「無機充てん剤、補強剤」が挙げられる。カーボンブラック、シリカ、焼成クレー、水酸化アルミニウムが好ましい。担持剤の使用量は、化合物(I)100重量部あたり10~1000重量部の範囲が好ましい。
 化合物(I)を添加することにより、得られる加硫ゴムが有する粘弾性特性をより改善させることができる。
<硫黄成分>
 硫黄成分としては、粉末硫黄、沈降硫黄、コロイド硫黄、不溶性硫黄、及び高分散性硫黄等が挙げられる。通常は粉末硫黄が好ましく、ベルト用部材等の硫黄量が多いタイヤ部材に用いる場合には不溶性硫黄が好ましい。
 硫黄成分の使用量は、ゴム成分100重量部あたり0.1~10重量部が好ましく、0.3~3重量部がより好ましい。
<加硫促進剤>
 加硫促進剤としては、ゴム工業便覧<第四版>(平成6年1月20日社団法人 日本ゴム協会発行)の412~413ページに記載されているチアゾール系加硫促進剤、スルフェンアミド系加硫促進剤、グアニジン系加硫促進剤が挙げられる。
 具体的には、例えば、N−シクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(CBS)、N−tert−ブチル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(BBS)、N,N−ジシクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(DCBS)、2−メルカプトベンゾチアゾール(MBT)、ジベンゾチアジルジスルフィド(MBTS)、ジフェニルグアニジン(DPG)が挙げられる。充填剤としてカーボンブラックを用いる場合には、N−シクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(CBS)、N−tert−ブチル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(BBS)、N,N−ジシクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(DCBS)、またはジベンゾチアジルジスルフィド(MBTS)とジフェニルグアニジン(DPG)とを併用することが好ましく、充填剤としてシリカとカーボンブラックとを併用する場合には、N−シクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(CBS)、N−tert−ブチル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(BBS)、N,N−ジシクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(DCBS)、ジベンゾチアジルジスルフィド(MBTS)のいずれかとジフェニルグアニジン(DPG)とを併用することが好ましい。
 硫黄と加硫促進剤との比率は特に制限されないが、重量比で硫黄/加硫促進剤=2/1~1/2の範囲が好ましい。また天然ゴムを主とするゴム部材において耐熱性を向上させる方法である硫黄/加硫促進剤の比を1以下にするEV加硫は、耐熱性向上が特に必要な用途においては、本発明でも好ましく用いられる。

 中でも、N,N’−ビス(2−メチル−2−ニトロプロピル)−1,6−ヘキサンジアミン(住友化学社製「スミファイン(登録商標)1162」)、5−ニトロソ−8−ヒドロキシキノリン(NQ−58)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド(デグッサ社製「Si−69」)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)ジスルフィド(デグッサ社製「Si−75」)、1,6−ビス(N,N’−ジベンジルチオカルバモイルジチオ)−ヘキサン(バイエル社製「KA9188」)、ヘキサメチレンビスチオサルフェート2ナトリウム塩2水和物、1,3−ビス(シトラコンイミドメチル)ベンゼン(フレキシス社製「パーカリンク900」)、田岡化学製「タッキロール(登録商標)AP、V−200」等のアルキルフェノール・塩化硫黄縮合物が好ましい。
 ゴム分野で通常用いられている各種の配合剤を、第1A工程、第2A工程、第1B工程及び/又は第2B工程において、配合し、混練することも可能である。かかる配合剤としては、例えば、住友化学株式会社製「アンチゲン(登録商標)6C」等の老化防止剤;オイル;ステアリン酸等の脂肪酸類;日鉄化学(株)のクマロン樹脂NG4(軟化点81~100℃)、神戸油化学工業(株)のプロセスレジンAC5(軟化点75℃)等のクマロン・インデン樹脂;テルペン樹脂、テルペン・フェノール樹脂、芳香族変性テルペン樹脂等のテルペン系樹脂;三菱瓦斯化学(株)「ニカノール(登録商標)A70」(軟化点70~90℃)等のロジン誘導体;水素添加ロジン誘導体;ノボラック型アルキルフェノール系樹脂;レゾール型アルキルフェノール系樹脂;C5系石油樹脂;液状ポリブタジエン;が挙げられる。
 オイルとしては、プロセスオイル、植物油脂等が挙げられる。プロセスオイルとしては、パラフィン系プロセスオイル、ナフテン系プロセスオイル、芳香族系プロセスオイル等が挙げられ、例えば、アロマチックオイル(コスモ石油社製「NC−140」)、プロセスオイル(出光興産社製「ダイアナプロセスPS32」)等が挙げられる。
 老化防止剤としては、例えば日本ゴム協会編「ゴム工業便覧<第四版>」の436~443頁に記載されるものが挙げられる。中でもN−フェニル−N’−1,3−ジメチルブチル−p−フェニレンジアミン(6PPD)、アニリンとアセトンの反応生成物(TMDQ)、ポリ(2,2,4−トリメチル−1,2−)ジヒドロキノリン)(松原産業社製「アンチオキシダントFR」)、合成ワックス(パラフィンワックス等)、植物性ワックスが好ましく用いられる。
 ワックスとしては、大内新興化学工業社製の「サンノック(登録商標)ワックス」、日本精蝋製の「OZOACE−0355」等が挙げられる。
 ゴム分野で通常用いられているモルフォリンジスルフィド等の加硫剤を、第1A工程、第2A工程、第1B工程及び/又は第2B工程において、配合し、混練することも可能である。
 また、第1A工程、第2A工程、第1B工程及び/又は第2B工程において、しゃく解剤やリターダーを配合し、混練してもよく、さらには、一般の各種ゴム薬品や軟化剤等を必要に応じて配合し、混練してもよい。
 リターダーとしては、無水フタル酸、安息香酸、サリチル酸、N−ニトロソジフェニルアミン、N−(シクロヘキシルチオ)−フタルイミド(CTP)、スルホンアミド誘導体、ジフェニルウレア、ビス(トリデシル)ペンタエリスリトール−ジホスファイト等が例示され、N−(シクロヘキシルチオ)−フタルイミド(CTP)が好ましく用いられる。
 リターダーの使用量は、ゴム成分100重量部あたり0.01~1重量部の範囲が好ましい。特に好ましくは0.05~0.5重量部である。
 本発明の製造方法は、第2A工程又は第2B工程で得られた混練物を第3A工程又は第3B工程に供する前に、第2A工程又は第2B工程で得られた混練物を特定の状態に加工する工程を含むことが好ましい。
 「特定の状態に加工する」とは、タイヤの分野においては、スチールコードに被覆すること、カーカス繊維コードに被覆すること、トレッド用部材の形状に加工すること、等が挙げられる。特定の状態に加工された混練物を熱処理して、ベルト、カーカス、インナーライナー、サイドウォール、トレッド(キャップトレッド又はアンダートレッド)等の部材が得られる。
 加硫ゴムをトラックやバス、ライトトラック、建設用大型タイヤに適したトレッド部材用途で用いる場合、ゴム成分は、天然ゴム単独、或いは天然ゴムとSBRおよび/またはBRとのブレンドが好ましい。充填剤は、カーボンブラック単独またはシリカとカーボンブラックとのブレンドが好ましい。更に、N,N’−ビス(2−メチル−2−ニトロプロピル)−1,6−ヘキサンジアミン(住友化学社製「スミファイン(登録商標)1162」)、5−ニトロソ−8−ヒドロキシキノリン(NQ−58)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド(Si−69)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)ジスルフィド(Si−75)、1,6−ビス(N,N’−ジベンジルチオカルバモイルジチオ)−ヘキサン(バイエル社製「KA9188」)、ヘキサメチレンビスチオサルフェート2ナトリウム塩2水和物、1,3−ビス(シトラコンイミドメチル)ベンゼン(フレキシス社製「パーカリンク900」)、田岡化学製「タッキロール(登録商標)AP、V−200」等のアルキルフェノール・塩化硫黄縮合物、等の粘弾性改善剤を併用することが好ましい。
 加硫ゴムを乗用車タイヤに適したトレッド部材用途に用いる場合、ゴム成分は、ケイ素化合物で分子末端を変性した溶液重合SBR単独、或いは前記末端変性の溶液重合SBRと非変性の溶液重合SBR、乳化重合SBR、天然ゴムおよびBRからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のゴムとのブレンドが好ましい。充填剤は、シリカとカーボンブラックとのブレンドが好ましい。更に、N,N’−ビス(2−メチル−2−ニトロプロピル)−1,6−ヘキサンジアミン(住友化学社製「スミファイン(登録商標)1162」)、5−ニトロソ−8−ヒドロキシキノリン(NQ−58)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド(Si−69)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)ジスルフィド(Si−75)、1,6−ビス(N,N’−ジベンジルチオカルバモイルジチオ)−ヘキサン(バイエル社製「KA9188」)、ヘキサメチレンビスチオサルフェート2ナトリウム塩2水和物、1,3−ビス(シトラコンイミドメチル)ベンゼン(フレキシス社製「パーカリンク900」)、田岡化学製「タッキロール(登録商標)AP、V−200」等のアルキルフェノール・塩化硫黄縮合物、等の粘弾性改善剤を併用することが好ましい。
 加硫ゴムをサイドウォール部材用途に用いる場合、ゴム成分は、BRと非変性の溶液重合SBR、乳化重合SBRおよび天然ゴムからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のゴムとのブレンドが好ましい。充填剤は、カーボンブラック単独またはカーボンブラックとシリカとのブレンドが好ましい。更に、N,N’−ビス(2−メチル−2−ニトロプロピル)−1,6−ヘキサンジアミン(住友化学社製「スミファイン(登録商標)1162」)、5−ニトロソ−8−ヒドロキシキノリン(NQ−58)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド(Si−69)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)ジスルフィド(Si−75)、1,6−ビス(N,N’−ジベンジルチオカルバモイルジチオ)−ヘキサン(バイエル社製「KA9188」)、ヘキサメチレンビスチオサルフェート2ナトリウム塩2水和物、1,3−ビス(シトラコンイミドメチル)ベンゼン(フレキシス社製「パーカリンク900」)、田岡化学製「タッキロール(登録商標)AP、V−200」等のアルキルフェノール・塩化硫黄縮合物、等の粘弾性改善剤を併用することが好ましい。
 加硫ゴムをカーカス、ベルト部材用途に用いる場合、ゴム成分は、天然ゴム単独または天然ゴムとBRとのブレンドが好ましい。充填剤は、カーボンブラック単独またはカーボンブラックとシリカとのブレンドが好ましい。更に、N,N’−ビス(2−メチル−2−ニトロプロピル)−1,6−ヘキサンジアミン(住友化学社製「スミファイン(登録商標)1162」)、5−ニトロソ−8−ヒドロキシキノリン(NQ−58)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド(Si−69)、ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)ジスルフィド(Si−75)、1,6−ビス(N,N’−ジベンジルチオカルバモイルジチオ)−ヘキサン(バイエル社製「KA9188」)、ヘキサメチレンビスチオサルフェート2ナトリウム塩2水和物、1,3−ビス(シトラコンイミドメチル)ベンゼン(フレキシス社製「パーカリンク900」)、田岡化学製「タッキロール(登録商標)AP、V−200」等のアルキルフェノール・塩化硫黄縮合物、等の粘弾性改善剤を併用することが好ましい。
 本発明の製造方法により得られた加硫ゴムを用いて、通常の方法によってタイヤが製造される。すなわち、上記加硫処理前の段階のゴム組成物をトレッド用部材に押出し加工し、タイヤ成形機上で通常の方法により貼り付け成形し、生タイヤが成形され、この生タイヤを加硫機中で加熱加圧することにより、タイヤが得られる。
 タイヤとしては、空気入りタイヤ及びソリッドタイヤ等が挙げられる。
 本発明の製造方法で得られる加硫ゴムを含むタイヤが装着された自動車の燃費は向上し、低燃費化が達成できる。
 本発明の製造方法で得られる加硫ゴムは、タイヤ用途のみならず、各種防振ゴム用途、各種ゴムベルト用途、制振材用途、免震ゴム用途としても使用できる。防振ゴムとしては、例えば、エンジンマウント、ストラットマウント、ブッシュ、エグゾーストハンガー等の自動車用防振ゴム等が挙げられる。防振ゴムは、通常、第2A工程又は第2B工程で得られた混練物を防振ゴムが有する形状に加工した後に、第3A工程又は第3B工程の熱処理に供することにより得られる。また、ゴムベルト用途としては、例えば、伝動ベルト、コンベヤベルト、Vベルト等が挙げられる。
 以下、実施例、試験例及び製造例等を挙げて本発明を具体的に説明する。
製造例1:S−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸
 窒素置換された反応容器に3−クロロプロピルアミン塩酸塩100g(0.77mol)、水180mLおよびチオ硫酸ナトリウム五水和物200.4g(0.81mol)を仕込み、得られた混合物を浴温70~80℃で5時間攪拌した。反応混合物を一晩放冷し、結晶をろ取した後、水、メタノールで洗浄した。得られた結晶を、50℃で4時間乾燥することにより、S−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸を得た。結晶の取得量は97.8gであった。

実施例1A
<第1A工程>
 バンバリーミキサー(東洋精機製600mlラボプラストミル)を用いて、天然ゴム(RSS#1)100重量部、ISAF(旭カーボン社製、商品名「旭#80」)45重量部および製造例1で得たS−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸0.5重量部を混練し、混練物を得た。該工程は、各種薬品及び充填剤投入後5分間、ミキサー設定温度120℃、ミキサー回転数50rpmで混練した。混練終了時の混練物の温度は166℃であった。
<第2A工程>
 ロール設定温度60℃のオープンロール機で、第1A工程で得られた混練物と、ステアリン酸3重量部、酸化亜鉛5重量部、老化防止剤(N−フェニル−N’−1,3−ジメチルブチル−p−フェニレンジアミン(6PPD):商品名「アンチゲン(登録商標)6C」住友化学株式会社製)1重量部、加硫促進剤N−シクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾールスルフェンアミド(CBS)1重量部と、硫黄2重量部とを混練配合し、未加硫ゴム組成物を得た。
<第3A工程>
 第2A工程で得た未加硫ゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴム組成物を得た。
参考例1A
 実施例1Aにおいて、S−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸を用いず、ステアリン酸、酸化亜鉛、老化防止剤を第1A工程にて混練する以外は、実施例1Aと同様にしてゴム組成物を得た。
試験例1A
 以下の通り、実施例1Aの第3A工程で得られた加硫ゴム組成物の動的粘弾性特性を測定した。
(1)動的粘弾性特性(tanδ)
 株式会社上島製作所製の粘弾性アナライザを用いて測定した。
 条件:温度60℃
    初期歪10%、動的歪2.5%、周波数10Hz
 参考例1Aで得た加硫ゴムを対照として、実施例1Aで得た加硫ゴムについて、参考例1Aで得た加硫ゴムに対する粘弾性特性(60℃でのtanδ)の低下率(%)を測定したところ、22%の低下率であった。
参考例2A
 実施例1Aにおいて、ステアリン酸、酸化亜鉛、老化防止剤を第1A工程にて混練する以外は、実施例1Aと同様にして加硫ゴム組成物を得、参考例1Aで得た加硫ゴムを対照として、参考例1Aで得た加硫ゴムに対する粘弾性特性(60℃でのtanδ)の低下率(%)を測定したところ、14%の低下率であった。
参考例3A
 実施例1Aの第2A工程で得たゴム組成物で、黄銅メッキ処理が施されたスチールコードを被覆することにより、ベルトが得られる。得られるベルトを用いて、通常の製造方法に従い、生タイヤを成形し、得られた生タイヤを加硫機中で加熱加圧することにより、加硫タイヤが得られる。
参考例4A
 実施例1Aの第2A工程で得たゴム組成物を押し出し加工し、トレッド用部材を得る。得られたトレッド用部材を用いて、通常の製造方法に従い、生タイヤを成形し、得られた生タイヤを加硫機中で加熱加圧することにより、加硫タイヤが得られる。
参考例5A
 実施例1Aの第2A工程で得たゴム組成物を押し出し加工して、カーカス形状に応じた形状のゴム組成物を調製し、ポリエステル製のカーカス繊維コードの上下に貼り付けることにより、カーカスが得られる。得られたカーカスを用いて、通常の製造方法に従い、生タイヤを成形し、得られた生タイヤを加硫機中で加熱加圧することにより、加硫タイヤが得られる。
参考例6A
<第1A工程>
 バンバリーミキサー(東洋精機製600mlラボプラストミル)を用いて、スチレン・ブタジエン共重合ゴムSBR#1502(住友化学社製)100重量部、ISAF−HM(旭カーボン社製、商品名「旭#80」)45重量部、S−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸1重量部、およびワックス(日本精蝋製「OZOACE−0355」)2重量部を混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。該工程は、各成分投入後5分間、50rpmのミキサーの回転数で混練することにより実施し、その時のゴム温度は160~175℃である。

 オープンロール機で60~80℃の温度にて、第1A工程により得られたゴム組成物と、ステアリン酸2重量部、酸化亜鉛3重量部、老化防止剤(N−フェニル−N’−1,3−ジメチルブチル−p−フェニレンジアミン(6PPD):商品名「アンチゲン(登録商標)6C」住友化学株式会社製)1重量部加硫促進剤N−シクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(CBS)3重量部および硫黄2重量部とを混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。
参考例7A
 参考例6Aの第2A工程で得られるゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、キャップトレッド用として好適である。
参考例8A
<第1A工程>

参考例9A
 参考例8Aの第2A工程で得たゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、アンダートレッド用として好適である。

<第1A工程>
 バンバリーミキサー(東洋精機製600mlラボプラストミル)を用いて、天然ゴム(RSS#1)100重量部、HAF(旭カーボン社製、商品名「旭#70」)45重量部、S−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸1重量部、含水シリカ(東ソー・シリカ(株)社製「Nipsil(登録商標)AQ」10重量部、老化防止剤FR(松原産業社製「アンチオキシダントFR」)2重量部、レゾルシン2重量部およびナフテン酸コバルト2重量部を混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。該工程は、各成分投入後5分間、50rpmのミキサーの回転数で混練することにより実施し、その時のゴム温度は160~175℃である。
<第2A工程>
 オープンロール機で60~80℃の温度にて、第1A工程により得られたゴム組成物と、ステアリン酸3重量部、酸化亜鉛5重量部、加硫促進剤N,N−ジシクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(DCBS)1重量部、硫黄6重量部およびメトキシ化メチロールメラミン樹脂(住友化学社製「スミカノール507AP」)3重量部とを混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。
参考例11A
 参考例10Aの第2A工程で得られるゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、ベルト用として好適である。
参考例12A
<第1A工程>
 バンバリーミキサー(東洋精機製600mlラボプラストミル)を用いて、ハロゲン化ブチルゴム(エクソンモービル社製「Br−IIR2255」)100重量部、GPF 60重量部、S−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸1重量部およびパラフィンオイル(出光興産社製「ダイアナプロセスオイル」)10重量部を混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。
該工程は、各成分投入後5分間、50rpmのミキサーの回転数で混練することにより実施し、その時のゴム温度は160~175℃である。
<第2A工程>
 オープンロール機で60~80℃の温度にて、第1A工程により得られたゴム組成物と、ステアリン酸1重量部、酸化亜鉛3重量部、老化防止剤(アニリンとアセトンの縮合物(TMDQ))1重量部、加硫促進剤ジベンゾチアジルジスルフィド(MBTS)1重量部および硫黄2重量部とを混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。

 参考例12Aの第2A工程で得られるゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、インナーライナー用として好適である。

 バンバリーミキサー(東洋精機製600mlラボプラストミル)を用いて、天然ゴム(RSS#3)40重量部、ポリブタジエンゴム(宇部興産社製「BR150B」)60部、FEF50重量部、S−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸1重量部、アロマチックオイル(コスモ石油社製「NC−140」)10重量部およびワックス(大内新興化学工業社製の「サンノック(登録商標)ワックス」)2重量部を混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。
 該工程は、各成分投入後5分間、50rpmのミキサーの回転数で混練することにより実施し、その時のゴム温度は160~175℃である。
<第2A工程>
 オープンロール機で60~80℃の温度にて、第1A工程により得られたゴム組成物と、ステアリン酸2.5重量部、酸化亜鉛3重量部、老化防止剤(N−フェニル−N’−1,3−ジメチルブチル−p−フェニレンジアミン(6PPD):商品名「アンチゲン(登録商標)6C」住友化学株式会社製)2重量部、加硫促進剤N−tert−ブチル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(BBS)0.75重量部および硫黄1.5重量部とを混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。
参考例15A
 参考例14Aの第2A工程で得られるゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、サイドウォール用として好適である。
参考例16A
<第1A工程>
 バンバリーミキサー(東洋精機製600mlラボプラストミル)を用いて、天然ゴム(TSR20)70重量部、スチレン・ブタジエン共重合ゴムSBR#1502(住友化学社製)30重量部、N339(三菱化学社製)60重量部、プロセスオイル(出光興産社製「ダイアナプロセスPS32」)7重量部およびS−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸1重量部を混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。該工程は、各成分投入後5分間、50rpmのミキサーの回転数で混練することにより実施し、その時のゴム温度は160~175℃である。
<第2A工程>
 オープンロール機で60~80℃の温度にて、第1A工程により得られたゴム組成物と、ステアリン酸2重量部、酸化亜鉛5重量部、加硫促進剤N−tert−ブチル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(BBS)1重量部、硫黄3重量部、老化防止剤(N−フェニル−N’−1,3−ジメチルブチル−p−フェニレンジアミン(6PPD):商品名「アンチゲン(登録商標)6C」住友化学株式会社製)1重量部および老化防止剤(アニリンとアセトンの縮合物(TMDQ))1重量部とを混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。
参考例17A
 参考例16Aの第2A工程で得られるゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、カーカス用として好適である。

<第1A工程>
 バンバリーミキサー(東洋精機製600mlラボプラストミル)を用いて、スチレン・ブタジエン共重合ゴムSBR#1500(JSR社製)100重量部、シリカ(商品名:「ウルトラジル(登録商標)VN3−G」デグッサ社製)78.4重量部、カーボンブラック(商品名「N−339」三菱化学社製)6.4重量部、シランカップリング剤(ビス(3−トリエトキシシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド:商品名「Si−69」デグッサ社製)6.4重量部、プロセスオイル(商品名「NC−140」コスモ石油社製)47.6重量部、およびS−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸3重量部を混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。該工程は、70℃~120℃の温度範囲で操作され、各成分投入後5分間、80rpmのミキサーの回転数で混練し、引き続き5分間、100rpmのミキサーの回転数で混練することにより実施する。
<第2A工程>
 オープンロール機で30~80℃の温度にて、第1A工程により得られるゴム組成物と、老化防止剤(N−フェニル−N’−1,3−ジメチルブチル−p−フェニレンジアミン(6PPD):商品名「アンチゲン(登録商標)6C」住友化学株式会社製)1.5重量部、酸化亜鉛2重量部、ステアリン酸2重量部、加硫促進剤N−シクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(CBS)1重量部、加硫促進剤ジフェニルグアニジン(DPG)1重量部、ワックス(商品名「サンノック(登録商標)N」大内新興化学工業社製)1.5重量部および硫黄1.4重量部とを混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。
参考例19A
 参考例18Aの第2A工程で得られるゴム組成物を160℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、キャップトレッド用として好適である。
参考例20A
 参考例18Aにおいて、スチレン・ブタジエン共重合ゴムSBR#1500(JSR社製)に替えて溶液重合SBR(「アサプレン(登録商標)」旭化成ケミカルズ株式会社製)を用いる以外は参考例18Aと同様にしてゴム組成物が得られる。
参考例21A
 参考例20Aの第2A工程で得られるゴム組成物を160℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、キャップトレッド用として好適である。
実施例1B
<第1B工程>
 バンバリーミキサー(東洋精機製600mlラボプラストミル)を用いて、天然ゴム(RSS#1)100重量部、ISAF(旭カーボン社製、商品名「旭#80」)45重量部、ステアリン酸3重量部および上記製造例1で得たS−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸0.5重量部を混練し、混練物を得た。該工程は、各種薬品及び充填剤投入後5分間、ミキサー設定温度120℃、ミキサー回転数50rpmで混練した。混練終了時の混練物の温度は166℃であった。
<第2B工程>
 ロール設定温度60℃のオープンロール機で、第1B工程で得られた混練物と、酸化亜鉛5重量部、老化防止剤(N−フェニル−N’−1,3−ジメチルブチル−p−フェニレンジアミン(6PPD):商品名「アンチゲン(登録商標)6C」住友化学株式会社製)1重量部、加硫促進剤N−シクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾールスルフェンアミド(CBS)1重量部と、硫黄2重量部とを混練配合し、未加硫ゴム組成物を得た。
<第3B工程>
 第2B工程で得た未加硫ゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴム組成物を得た。
参考例1B
 実施例1Bにおいて、S−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸を用いず、酸化亜鉛、老化防止剤を第1B工程にて混練する以外は、実施例1Bと同様にしてゴム組成物を得た。
試験例1B
 以下の通り、実施例1Bの第3B工程で得られた加硫ゴム組成物の動的粘弾性特性を測定した。
(1)動的粘弾性特性(tanδ)
 株式会社上島製作所製の粘弾性アナライザを用いて測定した。
 条件:温度60℃
    初期歪10%、動的歪2.5%、周波数10Hz
 参考例1Bで得た加硫ゴムを対照として、実施例1Bで得た加硫ゴムについて、参考例1Bで得た加硫ゴムに対する粘弾性特性(60℃でのtanδ)の低下率(%)を測定したところ、21%の低下率であった。
実施例2B
 実施例1Bにおいて、ステアリン酸を第2B工程にて混練し、酸化亜鉛を第1B工程にて混練する以外は、実施例1Bと同様にしてゴム組成物を得た。
試験例2B
 参考例1Bで得た加硫ゴムを対照として、実施例2Bで得た加硫ゴムについて、参考例1Bで得た加硫ゴムに対する粘弾性特性(60℃でのtanδ)の低下率(%)を測定したところ、24%の低下率であった。
参考例2B
 実施例1Bにおいて、酸化亜鉛、老化防止剤を第1B工程にて混練する以外は、実施例1Bと同様にして加硫ゴム組成物を得、参考例1Bで得た加硫ゴムを対照として、参考例1Bで得た加硫ゴムに対する粘弾性特性(60℃でのtanδ)の低下率(%)を測定したところ、14%の低下率であった。
参考例3B
 実施例1B又は実施例2Bの第2B工程で得たゴム組成物で、黄銅メッキ処理が施されたスチールコードを被覆することにより、ベルトが得られる。得られるベルトを用いて、通常の製造方法に従い、生タイヤを成形し、得られた生タイヤを加硫機中で加熱加圧することにより、加硫タイヤが得られる。
参考例4B
 実施例1B又は実施例2Bの第2B工程で得たゴム組成物を押し出し加工し、トレッド用部材を得る。得られたトレッド用部材を用いて、通常の製造方法に従い、生タイヤを成形し、得られた生タイヤを加硫機中で加熱加圧することにより、加硫タイヤが得られる。
参考例5B
 実施例1B又は実施例2Bの第2B工程で得たゴム組成物を押し出し加工して、カーカス形状に応じた形状のゴム組成物を調製し、ポリエステル製のカーカス繊維コードの上下に貼り付けることにより、カーカスが得られる。得られたカーカスを用いて、通常の製造方法に従い、生タイヤを成形し、得られた生タイヤを加硫機中で加熱加圧することにより、加硫タイヤが得られる。
参考例6B
<第1B工程>
 バンバリーミキサー(東洋精機製600mlラボプラストミル)を用いて、スチレン・ブタジエン共重合ゴムSBR#1502(住友化学社製)100重量部、ISAF−HM(旭カーボン社製、商品名「旭#80」)45重量部、ステアリン酸2重量部、S−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸1重量部、およびワックス(日本精蝋製「OZOACE−0355」)2重量部を混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。該工程は、各成分投入後5分間、50rpmのミキサーの回転数で混練することにより実施し、その時のゴム温度は160~175℃である。
<第2B工程>
 オープンロール機で60~80℃の温度にて、第1B工程により得られたゴム組成物と、酸化亜鉛3重量部、老化防止剤(N−フェニル−N’−1,3−ジメチルブチル−p−フェニレンジアミン(6PPD):商品名「アンチゲン(登録商標)6C」住友化学株式会社製)1重量部加硫促進剤N−シクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(CBS)3重量部および硫黄2重量部とを混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。
参考例7B
 参考例6Bの第2B工程で得られるゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、キャップトレッド用として好適である。
参考例8B
<第1B工程>

<第2B工程>
 オープンロール機で60~80℃の温度にて、第1B工程により得られたゴム組成物と、ステアリン酸2重量部、老化防止剤(N−フェニル−N’−1,3−ジメチルブチル−p−フェニレンジアミン(6PPD):商品名「アンチゲン(登録商標)6C」住友化学株式会社製)1重量部加硫促進剤N−シクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(CBS)2重量部、加硫促進剤ジフェニルグアニジン(DPG)0.5重量部、加硫促進剤ジベンゾチアジルジスルフィド(MBTS)0.8重量部および硫黄1重量部とを混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。
参考例9B
 参考例8Bの第2B工程で得たゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、アンダートレッド用として好適である。
参考例10B
<第1B工程>
 バンバリーミキサー(東洋精機製600mlラボプラストミル)を用いて、天然ゴム(RSS#1)100重量部、HAF(旭カーボン社製、商品名「旭#70」)45重量部、ステアリン酸3重量部、S−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸1重量部、含水シリカ(東ソー・シリカ(株)社製「Nipsil(登録商標)AQ」10重量部、老化防止剤FR(松原産業社製「アンチオキシダントFR」)2重量部、レゾルシン2重量部およびナフテン酸コバルト2重量部を混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。該工程は、各成分投入後5分間、50rpmのミキサーの回転数で混練することにより実施し、その時のゴム温度は160~175℃である。
<第2B工程>
 オープンロール機で60~80℃の温度にて、第1B工程により得られたゴム組成物と、酸化亜鉛5重量部、加硫促進剤N,N−ジシクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(DCBS)1重量部、硫黄6重量部およびメトキシ化メチロールメラミン樹脂(住友化学社製「スミカノール507AP」)3重量部とを混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。
参考例11B
 参考例10Bの第2B工程で得られるゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、ベルト用として好適である。
参考例12B
<第1B工程>
 バンバリーミキサー(東洋精機製600mlラボプラストミル)を用いて、ハロゲン化ブチルゴム(エクソンモービル社製「Br−IIR2255」)100重量部、GPF 60重量部、酸化亜鉛3重量部、S−(3−アミノプロピル)チオ硫酸1重量部およびパラフィンオイル(出光興産社製「ダイアナプロセスオイル」)10重量部を混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。該工程は、各成分投入後5分間、50rpmのミキサーの回転数で混練することにより実施し、その時のゴム温度は160~175℃である。
<第2B工程>
 オープンロール機で60~80℃の温度にて、第1B工程により得られたゴム組成物と、ステアリン酸1重量部、老化防止剤(アニリンとアセトンの縮合物(TMDQ))1重量部、加硫促進剤ジベンゾチアジルジスルフィド(MBTS)1重量部および硫黄2重量部とを混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。
参考例13B
 参考例12Bの第2B工程で得られるゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、インナーライナー用として好適である。
参考例14B
<第1B工程>

 参考例14Bの第2B工程で得られるゴム組成物を145℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、サイドウォール用として好適である。

<第1B工程>

 オープンロール機で30~80℃の温度にて、第1B工程により得られるゴム組成物と、老化防止剤(N−フェニル−N’−1,3−ジメチルブチル−p−フェニレンジアミン(6PPD):商品名「アンチゲン(登録商標)6C」住友化学株式会社製)1.5重量部、酸化亜鉛2重量部、加硫促進剤N−シクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド(CBS)1重量部、加硫促進剤ジフェニルグアニジン(DPG)1重量部、ワックス(商品名「サンノック(登録商標)N」大内新興化学工業社製)1.5重量部および硫黄1.4重量部とを混練配合し、ゴム組成物を得る。

 参考例18Bの第2B工程で得られるゴム組成物を160℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、キャップトレッド用として好適である。

 参考例18Bにおいて、スチレン・ブタジエン共重合ゴムSBR#1500(JSR社製)に替えて溶液重合SBR(「アサプレン(登録商標)」旭化成ケミカルズ株式会社製)を用いる以外は参考例18Bと同様にしてゴム組成物が得られる。
参考例21B
 参考例20Bの第2B工程で得られるゴム組成物を160℃で熱処理することにより加硫ゴムが得られる。かかる加硫ゴムは、キャップトレッド用として好適である。
 本発明の加硫ゴムの製造方法によれば、得られる加硫ゴムの粘弾性特性を改善させることができる。

Claims (11)

  1.  ゴム成分及び充填剤を混練する第1A工程と、
     第1A工程で得られた混練物、ステアリン酸、酸化亜鉛、硫黄成分及び加硫促進剤を混練する第2A工程と、
     第2A工程で得られた混練物を熱処理する第3A工程と、
    を含む加硫ゴムの製造方法。
  2.  第1A工程が、ゴム成分、充填剤及び式(I)で表される化合物を混練する工程である請求項1記載の加硫ゴムの製造方法。

    (式(I)中、Mn+は、H又はn価の金属イオンを表す。
     nは、1又は2の整数を表す。
     R及びRは、それぞれ独立に、水素原子又は炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表すか、或いは、RとRとが互いに結合して、それらが結合している窒素原子とともに環を形成する。
     mは、2~9の整数を表す。)
  3.  第2A工程が、第1A工程で得られた混練物に、ステアリン酸、酸化亜鉛、硫黄成分及び加硫促進剤を同時に添加して混練する工程である請求項1又は2記載の加硫ゴムの製造方法。
  4.  ステアリン酸及び酸化亜鉛からなる群の一方の成分、ゴム成分並びに充填剤を混練する第1B工程と、
     ステアリン酸及び酸化亜鉛からなる前記群の他方の成分、第1B工程で得られた混練物、硫黄成分並びに加硫促進剤を混練する第2B工程と、
     第2B工程で得られた混練物を熱処理する第3B工程と、
    を含む加硫ゴムの製造方法。
  5.  第1B工程が、ステアリン酸及び酸化亜鉛からなる群の一方の成分、ゴム成分、充填剤並びに式(I)で表される化合物を混練する工程である請求項4記載の加硫ゴムの製造方法。

  7.  請求項1~6のいずれか記載の加硫ゴムの製造方法で得られた加硫ゴム。
  8.  請求項1~6のいずれか記載の加硫ゴムの製造方法で得られた加硫ゴムで被覆されたスチールコードを含むタイヤ用ベルト。
  9.  請求項1~6のいずれか記載の加硫ゴムの製造方法で得られた加硫ゴムで被覆されたカーカス繊維コードを含むタイヤ用カーカス。
  10.  請求項1~6のいずれか記載の加硫ゴムの製造方法で得られた加硫ゴムを含むタイヤ用サイドウォール、タイヤ用インナーライナー、タイヤ用キャップトレッド又はタイヤ用アンダートレッド。
  11.  請求項1~6のいずれか記載の加硫ゴムの製造方法で得られた加硫ゴムを含むタイヤ。
