If the target content includes meta information (Yes in S161), the identity verification unit 107 compares the meta information of the new content with the meta information of the target content, thereby determining the identity of the two contents. Verification is performed (S162). For example, when the content is a photograph, the identity verification unit 107 determines that the shooting information (shooting time, shooting location, shooting device, shooting conditions, etc.) included in Exif and the like match in the two pieces of meta information. It is determined that the two contents are identical. Thereby, even when the content uploaded to SNS is compressed, the identity verification unit 107 can determine whether or not the two content have identity.
- the shooting information shooting time, shooting location, shooting device, shooting conditions, etc.
- the identity verification unit 107 verifies the identity of the two contents by pattern matching of the two contents (S163).
- Many methods have been proposed as a pattern matching method. Basically, the identity verification unit 107 uses a feature amount (a feature based on luminance information or edge information for each block) from each content. The similarity between two contents is obtained by comparing the feature amounts. And the identity verification part 107 determines with two content having the identity, when the calculated similarity is more than a certain threshold value.
- steps S145 and S146 are sequentially performed on all the contents extracted in step S144 (S147).
- the identity verification unit 107 identifies the same content as the new content acquired from the mobile device 300 among the plurality of unlinked content extracted in Step S144. It is determined whether there is content having (S148). That is, the identity verification unit 107 determines whether there is upload content whose original is new content.
- the link information generating unit 108 When there is an upload content having the same identity as the new content (Yes in S148), the link information generating unit 108 generates link information indicating that the upload content is identical to the new content (S149).
