Abstract
L'invention concerne un compartiment pour batteries (1) destiné à un ensemble de batteries (3) et comportant une pluralité de batteries (5) contenant de l'acide de plomb. Ce compartiment pour batteries (1) est exempt de produits permettant un échange avec l'air extérieur. Dans/contre le compartiment pour batteries (1), se trouve un dispositif (9) pour éliminer des batteries (5) l'hydrogène (13) de l'air ambiant. L'avantage du compartiment pour batteries (1) est qu'il ne nécessite pas de ventilation forcée pour ventiler vers l'extérieur l'hydrogène généré par les batteries. Une telle ventilation forcée entraîne des coûts énergétiques élevés en été et en hiver, du fait que les batteries doivent être constamment maintenues à une température moyenne.
