网络运营商在机顶盒启动之前一般会将自定义内容呈现给用户,比如可以 做为插播广告内容的时间段, 以避免用户枯燥的等待, 既能够增强用户体验, 也可以增加网络运营商的收益。 目前现有的自定义内容呈现技术,基本上都是 在机顶盒中间件的加载和启动过程完成之后实现的,也就是在机顶盒的硬件设 备自检和操作系统启动完成并通过网络认证成功后,机顶盒中间件的加载和启 动之后, 利用中间件向用户呈现自定义内容。 但是, 由于从机顶盒加电到硬件 自检、 操作系统启动和网络认证后还需要启动中间件, 此时已经有 30秒左右 的延时了, 也就是说, 用户开机后一般至少需要 30秒左右的等待时间段, 然 后才能够开始显示自定义内容,从机顶盒启动再加上自定义内容本身的呈现时 间 (通常自定义的内容的呈现时间为 15至 20秒), 则自用户开机后到能够观 看电视节目进行选台操作的时间一般为 50秒左右,导致用户的等待时间太长, 降低了用户体验。 发明内容
本发明实施例提供了一种机顶盒中呈现自定义内容的方法和机顶盒,用于 在不减少自定义内容的呈现时间的情况下,缩短用户在机顶盒开机后等待选台 操作的时间。
一方面,本发明实施例提供的一种机顶盒中呈现自定义内容的方法,包括: 当机顶盒上电启动后, 检查机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存;
若所述机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存检查无误,将所述闪存中的自定义内 容写入到所述显示緩存中;
控制被写入显示緩存的自定义内容在视频终端上向用户呈现;
控制被写入显示緩存的自定义内容在视频终端上向用户呈现之后,检查所 述机顶盒除显示緩存和闪存以外的硬件设备, 启动所述机顶盒的操作系统, 进 行网络认证。
另一方面, 本发明实施例提供的一种机顶盒, 包括:
检查单元,用于当机顶盒上电启动后,检查机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存; 写入单元, 用于若所述机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存检查无误,将所述闪 存中的自定义内容写入到所述显示緩存中;
控制呈现单元,用于控制被写入显示緩存的自定义内容在视频终端上向用 户呈现;
加载单元,用于控制被写入显示緩存的自定义内容在视频终端上向用户呈 现之后,检查所述机顶盒除显示緩存和闪存以外的硬件设备, 启动所述机顶盒 的操作系统, 进行网络认证。
从以上技术方案可以看出, 本发明实施例具有以下优点:
本发明实施例中,在机顶盒上电启动后,检测机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪 存, 若机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存检查无误,将闪存中的自定义内容写入到 显示緩存中,控制被写入显示緩存的自定义内容在视频终端上向用户呈现, 然 后检查机顶盒除显示緩存和闪存以外的硬件设备, 启动机顶盒的操作系统, 进 行网络认证。 由于本发明实施例中在检查机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存之后, 将自定义内容写入显示緩存, 实现本地闪存的自定义内容向用户呈现, 不需要 等待除显示緩存和闪存以外的其它硬件设备自检、 操作系统启动、 网络认证、 中间件的加载和启动就可以实现自定义内容通过显示緩存向用户呈现出来,在 自定义内容呈现时间相同的情况下,本发明实施例的方法相比较现有技术能够 节省 30秒左右的延时, 能够缩短用户在机顶盒开机后等待选台操作的时间, 提高用户体验。 附图说明

本发明实施例提供了一种机顶盒中呈现自定义内容的方法和机顶盒,用于 在不减少自定义内容的呈现时间的情况下,缩短用户在机顶盒开机后等待选台 操作的时间, 提高用户体验。
为使得本发明的发明目的、 特征、优点能够更加的明显和易懂, 下面将结 合本发明实施例中的附图,对本发明实施例中的技术方案进行清楚、 完整地描 述,显然,下面所描述的实施例仅仅是本发明一部分实施例,而非全部实施例。 基于本发明中的实施例, 本领域的技术人员所获得的所有其他实施例,都属于 本发明保护的范围。

101、 当机顶盒上电启动后, 检查机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存。
在本发明实施例中, 当机顶盒上电启动后, 首先要检查机顶盒本身的显示 緩存和闪存, 以确保显示緩存和闪存这两个硬件设备的配置无误, 若所述机顶 盒本身的显示緩存和闪存检查无误执行步骤 102。 本发明与现有技术的不同之 处在于, 现有技术中当机顶盒上电启动后, 会检查所有的硬件设备, 以确保配 置是否无误, 而本发明实施例中当机顶盒上电启动后, 首先只检查显示緩存和 闪存。
机顶盒在出厂前, 在机顶盒本地的闪存( Flash Memory )的一个固定地址 范围内,已经保存有一个默认的开机显示文件,比如机顶盒厂家的商标( Logo ), 机顶盒开机上电启动后,本发明实施例中机顶盒读取显示緩存和闪存的初始化 信息, 即机顶盒会进行显示緩存和闪存这两个硬件设备的自检过程,初始化信 息由机顶盒出厂前已经配置完成,读取显示緩存和闪存的初始化信息主要用于 检查机顶盒自身的显示緩存和闪存这两个硬件设备配置是否正常。需要说明的 是, 在本发明实施例中, 图 1所示的实施例中动作的执行体是机顶盒, 也可以 是配置在机顶盒内部的执行向用户呈现自定义内容的一个设备, 此处仅作说 明, 不做限定。
102、 若机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存检查无误, 将闪存中的自定义内容 写入到显示緩存中。
在本发明实施例中, 由步骤 101的检查可知, 若机顶盒本身的显示緩存和 闪存检查无误, 则机顶盒直接将自定义内容写入显示緩存中。
需要说明的是, 当机顶盒读取显示緩存和闪存的初始化信息之后,按照初 始化信息的要求, 机顶盒开始在指定的本地的闪存存储地址读取二进制数据, 并把读取到的二进制数据写入到显示緩存中, 这样视频终端(例如电视机)的 显示器画面即可将相应的画面内容呈现出来,在本发明实施例中,显示緩存为 机顶盒中开机显示文件直接向用户呈现的緩存,显示緩存中的内容来自本地闪 存存储的固定地址范围内的数据,在显示緩存中保存的自定义内容为二进制数 据。 例如机顶盒厂家的 Logo就保存在显示緩存中, 其中显示緩存向用户呈现 显示緩存中的数据并不需要机顶盒的操作系统启动、 网络认证、 中间件的启动 和加载,只需要机顶盒的显示緩存和闪存初始化之后将自定义内容写入到显示 緩存中就可以向用户直接呈现,在本发明实施例中, 直接将本地闪存的自定义 内容写入显示緩存中, 可以减少用户等待机顶盒的操作系统启动、 网络认证、 中间件的启动和加载的时间, 提高用户的体验。
需要说明的是,在本发明实施例中,将闪存中的自定义内容写入到显示緩 存中具体可以包括如下步骤:
判断本地闪存中的自定义内容是否为预置的文件格式, 若是, 直接将自定 义内容写入显示緩存中, 若不是, 将自定义内容读入解码硬件中, 由解码硬件 对自定义内容进行解码, 然后将解码后的自定义内容写入显示緩存中。
在本发明实施例中,机顶盒上电启动后检查机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存 之后, 判断机顶盒本地内存的自定义内容是否为预置的文件格式。 需要说明的 是, 自定义内容可以是需要向用户呈现的广告文件, 例如可以为视频广告、 图 片广告等, 也可以是其他形式的宣传文件, 本发明实施例在此不做限制。 机顶 盒本地闪存指的是机顶盒自身的存储介质, 自定义内容是预先保存在机顶盒的 本地闪存中,待机顶盒启动后向用户呈现的, 例如网络运营商可以将一些企业 的产品介绍制作成图片形式预先保存在机顶盒的本地存储中,以便于机顶盒在 读取初始化信息后从本地闪存中调用。
需要说明的是,在本发明实施例中机顶盒上电启动后检查机顶盒本身的显 示緩存和闪存, 然后就判断本地存储的自定义内容是否为预置的文件格式, 而 不像现有技术中读取初始化信息(检查完所有的硬件设备 )之后就开始启动操 作系统和进行网络认证。
需要说明的是,在本发明实施例中预置的文件格式为机顶盒自身的显示緩 存能够直接识別的文件格式, 例如, 通常机顶盒自身的显示緩存对于位图 ( BMP, bitmap )格式文件能够识別, 当然在实际应用中, 机顶盒自身的显示 緩存能够直接识別的文件格式也可以为其它格式,此处只是说明,并不做限定。
在本发明实施例中, 若机顶盒本地闪存中的自定义内容为预置的文件格 式, 即机顶盒本地闪存中的自定义内容能够直接被显示緩存识別, 则机顶盒直 接将自定义内容写入显示緩存。
需要说明的是, 当机顶盒读取显示緩存和闪存的初始化信息之后,按照初 始化信息的要求,机顶盒开始在指定的本地闪存存储地址读取二进制数据, 并 把读取到的二进制数据写入到显示緩存中, 这样视频终端(例如电视机 )的显 示器画面即可将显示緩存中二进制数据对应的画面内容呈现出来,在本发明实 施例中,显示緩存为机顶盒中开机显示文件直接向用户呈现的緩存。例如机顶 盒厂家的 Logo就保存在显示緩存中, 其中显示緩存向用户呈现显示緩存中的 数据并不需要机顶盒的操作系统启动、 网络认证、 中间件和业务菜单的启动和 加载, 只需要机顶盒初始化之后就可以向用户直接呈现, 在本发明实施例中, 直接将本地闪存存储的自定义内容写入显示緩存中,可以减少用户等待机顶盒 的操作系统启动、 网络认证、 中间件的启动和加载的时间, 提高用户的体验。
在本发明实施例中, 若机顶盒本地存储的自定义内容不是预置的文件格 式, 即机顶盒本地存储的自定义内容不能够直接被显示緩存识別, 则机顶盒直 接将自定义内容读入解码硬件进行解码,然后将解码后的自定义内容写入显示 緩存。 例如, 预置的文件格式为 BMP格式文件, 机顶盒本地存储的自定义内 容的文件格式为联合摄影专家组(JPG, Joint Photographic Experts Group )格 式文件, 则机顶盒会对 JPG格式文件读入到解码硬件中, 由解码硬件将 JPG 格式文件解码为 BMP格式文件, 以使显示緩存能够识別。 其中, 解码硬件对 自定义内容进行解码为现有技术, 此处不再赘述。 103、 控制被写入显示緩存的自定义内容在视频终端上向用户呈现。
在本发明实施例中, 本地闪存中的自定义内容被写入显示緩存后,机顶盒 控制被写入显示緩存的自定义内容在视频终端上向用户呈现。例如, 网络运营 商在机顶盒本地闪存中存储的图片广告被写入显示緩存之后,机顶盒就会控制 图片广告在视频终端上向用户呈现显示緩存中的图片广告。 检查机顶盒除显示緩存和闪存以外的硬件设备, 启动机顶盒的操作系统, 进行 网终认证。
需要说明的是,在本发明实施例中, 步骤 101至 103的执行是在机顶盒检 查机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存之后, 将自定义内容写入显示緩存, 实现本地 闪存的自定义内容向用户呈现,而不是向现有技术中在读取所有硬件设备的初 始化信息之后, 进行操作系统启动、 网络认证、 中间件的启动和加载都完成之 后才会向用户显示自定义内容, 由于操作系统启动、 网络认证、 中间件的启动 和加载都完成一般需要 30秒左右的时间, 故本发明实施例中的方法相对于现 有技术能够节省大约 30秒左右的延时, 当然在本发明实施例中, 步骤 104是 在控制被写入显示緩存的自定义内在视频终端上向用户呈现之后,机顶盒检查 除显示緩存和闪存以外的硬件设备, 开始启动操作系统和网络认证,也就是说 本发明实施例中只需要检查机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存之后,将闪存中的自 定义内容写入到显示緩存中, 就可以控制自定义内容在视频终端向用户呈现 了。
需要说明的是, 本发明实施例中,检测机顶盒除显示緩存和闪存以外的硬 件设备指的是检查机顶盒本身的网卡、 条件接收(CA, Condition Acception ) 模块、 本地内存等硬件设备是否存在故障, 若这些硬件设备无误, 启动机顶盒 的操作系统, 然后进行网络认证, 最后进行中间件的加载, 完成机顶盒的整个 启动过程。
需要说明的是, 本地闪存存储的自定义内容, 可以在机顶盒正常使用过程 中, 通过闲置信道进行更新。 在本发明实施例中, 当进行网络认证之后还包括 如下步骤:
Al、 向网络侧业务服务器发送自定义内容更新请求, 自定义内容更新请 求包括机顶盒序列号、 用户账户、 机顶盒的闪存中的自定义内容的文件信息。 A2、 获取网络侧业务服务器根据自定义内容更新请求配置的更新的自定 义内容。
A3、 将更新的自定义内容写入闪存中。
对于步骤 A1 , 机顶盒启动完成后, 将向网络侧业务服务器发送自定义内 容更新请求, 其中, 自定义内容更新请求包括: 机顶盒序号 (ID, IDentity ), 用户账号、机顶盒当前本地存储的自定义内容的文件信息, 自定义内容的文件 信息包括自定义内容的文件名称、 地址及格式等信息。
对于步骤 A2, 网络侧业务服务器接收到机顶盒发送的自定义内容更新请 求之后, 网络侧服务器根据自定义内容更新请求中的用户账号、机顶盒序列号 等信息, 判断用户类型和用户需求, 为用户配置更新的自定义内容, 并将匹配 的更新的自定义内容文件的地址、获取该文件的协议等信息返回给机顶盒,机 顶盒可以获取用户配置的更新的自定义内容, 保存在本地临时存储中。
需要说明的是, 对于步骤 A2, 在实际应用中, 一种可实现的方式是, 通 过机顶盒与网络侧业务服务器之间建立的网络互连协议 ( IP, Internet Protocol ) 通道,机顶盒获取网络侧业务服务器配置的更新的自定义内容的统一资源定位 符( URL, Uniform I Universal Resource Locator ), 若更新的自定义内容的 URL 与本地闪存中的自定义内容的 URL不同,根据更新的自定义内容的 URL下载 新的自定义内容, 机顶盒与网络侧业务服务器之间建立有 IP通道, 机顶盒可 以通过超文本传输协议 ( HTTP, Hyper Text Transfer Protocol ) 下载更新的自 定义内容。
需要说明的是, 对于步骤 A2, 在实际应用中, 另一种可实现的方式是, 从网络业务服务器通过专用空闲数字频道广播的所有自定义内容中,选择与自 定义内容更新请求匹配的自定义内容作为更新的自定义内容。其中,机顶盒和 网络侧建立有专用空闲数字频道,该专用空闲数字频道专门用于网络侧业务服 务器向所有的机顶盒广播各种自定义内容,机顶盒根据自身的业务系统指定的 节目分类号、 节目序列号、 条件接受序列号, 从网络侧业务服务器广播的所有 自定义内容中选择合适该机顶盒的更新的自定义内容, 保存在本地临时存储 中。
对于步骤 A3 , 机顶盒获取到更新的自定义内容之后, 将更新的自定义内 容写入闪存中,机顶盒可以通过调用机顶盒提供的接口函数,将本地临时存储 的更新的自定义内容写入到机顶盒的本地闪存中,以便于下次开机时机顶盒能 够向用户呈现更新的自定义内容。
需要说明的是, 步骤 A3执行完成之后, 还可以如下步骤: 记录更新的自 定义内容的文件信息以及更新时间, 例如,记录更新当前机顶盒的自定义内容 的更新状态, 包括更新时间、 更新的文件名称和 URL、 本地文件存储位置、 更新成功状态等。
本发明实施例中,在机顶盒上电启动后,检测机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪 存, 若机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存检查无误,将闪存中的自定义内容写入到 显示緩存中,控制被写入显示緩存的自定义内容在视频终端上向用户呈现, 然 后检查机顶盒除显示緩存和闪存以外的硬件设备, 启动机顶盒的操作系统, 进 行网络认证。 由于本发明实施例中在检查机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存之后, 将自定义内容写入显示緩存, 实现本地闪存的自定义内容向用户呈现, 不需要 等待除显示緩存和闪存以外的其它硬件设备自检、 操作系统启动、 网络认证、 中间件的加载和启动就可以实现自定义内容通过显示緩存向用户呈现出来,对 于自定义内容呈现时间相同的情况下,本发明实施例的方法相比较现有技术能 够节省 30秒左右的延时, 缩短用户在机顶盒开机后等待选台操作的时间, 提 高用户体验。

对于获取单元而言, 另一种可实现的方式是, 获取单元具体可以用于从网 络侧业务服务器通过专用空闲数字频道广播的所有自定义内容中,选择与自定 义内容更新请求匹配的自定义内容作为更新的自定义内容。
需要说明的是, 对于本发明实施例提供的机顶盒 200, 另一种可实现的方 式是, 机顶盒 200还可以包括如下单元(未在图 2中示出):
记录单元,用于记录更新机顶盒 200的自定义内容的文件信息以及更新时 间。
需要说明的是, 上述装置各模块 /单元之间的信息交互、 执行过程等内容, 由于与本发明方法实施例基于同一构思,其带来的技术效果与本发明方法实施 例相同, 具体内容可参见本发明如图 1所示的方法实施例中的叙述, 此处不再 赘述。

当机顶盒上电启动后, 检查机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存;
若所述机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存检查无误,将所述闪存中的自定义内 容写入到所述显示緩存中;
控制被写入显示緩存的自定义内容在视频终端上向用户呈现;
控制被写入显示緩存的自定义内容在视频终端上向用户呈现之后,检查所 述机顶盒除显示緩存和闪存以外的硬件设备, 启动所述机顶盒的操作系统, 进 行网络认证。
2、根据权利要求 1所述的机顶盒中呈现自定义内容的方法, 其特征在于, 所述将所述闪存中的自定义内容写入到所述显示緩存中包括:
判断所述闪存中的自定义内容是否为预置的文件格式, 若是, 直接将所述 自定义内容写入所述显示緩存中,若不是,将所述自定义内容读入解码硬件中, 由所述解码硬件对所述自定义内容进行解码,然后将解码后的自定义内容写入 所述显示緩存中。
3、根据权利要求 1所述的机顶盒中呈现自定义内容的方法, 其特征在于, 所述进行网络认证之后, 还包括:
向网络侧业务服务器发送自定义内容更新请求,所述自定义内容更新请求 包括所述机顶盒序列号、用户账户、所述机顶盒的闪存中的自定义内容的文件 信息;
获取所述网络侧业务服务器根据所述自定义内容更新请求配置的更新的 自定义内容;
将所述更新的自定义内容写入所述闪存中。
4、根据权利要求 3所述的机顶盒中呈现自定义内容的方法, 其特征在于, 所述获取所述网络侧业务服务器根据所述自定义内容更新请求配置的更新的 自定义内容包括:
通过所述机顶盒与所述网络侧业务服务器之间建立的网络互连协议 IP通 道, 获取所述网络侧业务服务器配置的更新的自定义内容的统一资源定位符 URL,若所述更新的自定义内容的 URL与所述闪存中的自定义内容的 URL不 同, 根据所述更新的自定义内容的 URL下载所述更新的自定义内容。
5、根据权利要求 3所述的机顶盒中呈现自定义内容的方法, 其特征在于, 所述获取所述网络侧业务服务器根据所述自定义内容更新请求配置的更新的 自定义内容包括:
从所述网络侧业务服务器通过专用空闲数字频道广播的所有自定义内容 中, 选择与所述自定义内容更新请求匹配的自定义内容作为更新的自定义内 谷。
6、根据权利要求 3所述的机顶盒中呈现自定义内容的方法, 其特征在于, 记录所述更新的自定义内容的文件信息以及更新时间。
7、 一种机顶盒, 其特征在于, 包括:
检查单元,用于当机顶盒上电启动后,检查机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存; 写入单元, 用于若所述机顶盒本身的显示緩存和闪存检查无误,将所述闪 存中的自定义内容写入到所述显示緩存中;

8、 根据权利要求 7所述的机顶盒, 其特征在于, 所述写入单元包括: 判断模块, 用于判断所述闪存中的自定义内容是否为预置的文件格式, 若 是, 若是, 触发第一处理模块执行, 若不是, 触发第二处理模块和解码模块执 行;
所述第一处理模块, 用于直接将所述自定义内容写入所述显示緩存中; 所述第二处理模块, 用于将所述自定义内容读入解码硬件中;
所述解码模块, 用于控制所述解码硬件对所述自定义内容进行解码; 所述第二处理模块, 用于将解码后的自定义内容写入所述显示緩存中。
9、 根据权利要求 7所述的机顶盒, 其特征在于, 所述机顶盒还包括: 请求更新单元, 用于向网络侧业务服务器发送自定义内容更新请求, 所述 自定义内容更新请求包括所述机顶盒序列号、用户账户、所述机顶盒的闪存中 的自定义内容的文件信息; 获取单元,用于获取所述网络侧业务服务器根据所述自定义内容更新请求 配置的更新的自定义内容;
10、 根据权利要求 9所述的机顶盒, 其特征在于, 所述获取单元具体用于 通过所述机顶盒与所述网络侧业务服务器之间建立的网络互连协议 IP通道, 获取所述网络侧业务服务器配置的更新的自定义内容的统一资源定位符 URL,若所述更新的自定义内容的 URL与所述闪存中的自定义内容的 URL不 同, 根据所述更新的自定义内容的 URL下载所述更新的自定义内容。
11、 根据权利要求 9所述的机顶盒, 其特征在于, 所述获取单元具体用于 从所述网络侧业务服务器通过专用空闲数字频道广播的所有自定义内容中,选 择与所述自定义内容更新请求匹配的自定义内容作为更新的自定义内容。
12、 根据权利要求 9所述的机顶盒, 其特征在于, 所述机顶盒还包括: 记录单元, 用于记录所述更新的自定义内容的文件信息以及更新时间。
