Abstract

External electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles (1), is drive unit which attaches with a driven vehicle (2) and serves as a source of driving force for moving a composition which consists of these two types of vehicles. It relates to a scientific area ( means of traffic transport). Driver from inside of driven vehicle (2) controls the work of driving vehicle (1) via command device (10). Starting electrical engine, which moves, by transmission mechanism, driving wheels (9) of the external electromotive drive unit for towing a motor vehicle (1) and in that way moves the composition which consists of driven vehicle (2) which is attached by removable mechanical joint (4) with the external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicle (1). By adding the module of electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles on classical models of automobiles which are driven by internal combustion motors, a cost-effective and easy conversion in a type of electrical automobile is achieved.

Description

THE NAME OF THE INVENTION
EXTERNAL ELECTROMOTIVE DRIVE UNIT FOR MOTOR VEHICLES
1) . TECHNICAL FIELD TO WHICH THIS DISCOVERY APPLIES
The invention relates to the area of transport, and specifically applies to the vehicles with a single axle tractor and trailer.
According to the International classification of patents, the subject of invention is sorted, or classified and it was given a mark B62D 53/02.
2) . TECHNICAL PROBLEM
Conversion of existing new and used motor vehicles, which possess internal combustion engines, into vehicles driven by electrical energy is technically complex and expensive. Making cars with hybrid engines, and which are a combination of internal combustion engine and electrical generator and electrical engine, are technically complex and have several vital parts, which have to be maintained, and in that way they increase the total usage expenses for an average user.
3) . TECHNICAL STATUS
There are several models of road motor vehicles which are in use, and which use electrical power as a driving force. Those are vehicles driven by electrical engine, which get their power from battery cells. The other type of technical solution are vehicles which besides the primary engine with internal combustion, possess secondary electromotive drive. Those two drives function alternately or combined depending on driving mode of motor vehicle.
4). PRESENTATION OF THE ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION
The external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles is propulsion which possesses its own electromotive drive and battery cells for supplying the electrical engine with electric power. It is used in a way in which the external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles connects with a motor vehicle with mechanical detachable joints and joint of back link circuit, which is used to send instruction from the vehicle driven by electrical or electro mechanical joints in external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles. When connection is carried out, the user uses the commanding device inside the driven vehicle to control the driven motor vehicle and external electromotive drive unit. By this solution, the user gets a vehicle which allows the transport of passengers and cargo in land transport on an easy, economical more cost-effective and ecologically more acceptable way. The product would be primarily intended for driving vehicles in city driving mode, where vehicle is driven in low speeds and frequent changes of gear, which are the cause of increased fuel consumption and air pollution. Application of this solution is possible with minimal conversion on existing motor vehicles. Charging of battery cells is carried out through the sources of low-voltage power grid which is used in households. 5). SHORT DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING
Accompanying drawings are included into description, they help with explanation,
manufacturing technology, installation of all parts of invention, and the use of invention.
Pic.l is side view of external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles when it is attached to a motor vehicle.
Pic.2 is side view of external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles when it is separated from a motor vehicle.
Pic.3 is a view from above of external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles when it is attached to a motor vehicle. 6). DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ONE OF THE WAYS OF REALIZATION OF
INVENTION
Picture 1 , represents side view of external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles 1 , when it is attached to a motor vehicle 2.
Picture 2, represents side view of external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles 1 , with parts, multifunctional back link circuit for command transfer 3, used to control, from a driven vehicle 2, electrical and electromechanical joints in external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicle 1. Removable mechanical joints 4, used for mechanical attaching of a driven vehicle 2, with external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicle 1. Picture is showing an electrical socket for charging 5, of battery cells 6, then drive wheels 9, of external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles 1, and a movable supporter 8, for parking of external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles 1 , when it is separated from the towing vehicle 2, with marks (p) lifted and (s) lowered. Light indicators are marked with number 7.
Picture 3, represents view from above on external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles 1, when it is attached to a driven vehicle 2. The operator on commanding device 10, inside a driven vehicle 2, via multifunctional back link circuit for command transfer 3, controls the work of external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles 1. Driving wheels 9, of external
electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles 1, by turning forwards of backwards, transfer the thrust or pulling force via removable mechanical joints 4,
which as a reaction has wheel rotation 1 1 , of driven vehicle 2, and in that manner makes a vehicle move. Light indicators of a driven vehicle 2, is marked with number 12, and light indicators of external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles 1, is marked with number 7. 7). METHOD OF APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION
External electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles is propellant vehicle which attaches to a driven vehicle.A driver inside a driven vehicle controls the work of propellant vehicle with starting of the electrical engine, which, by using transmission mechanism, starts wheels of the external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles and in that way moves the composition, which consists of a towed vehicle which is attached via removable mechanical joint with external electromotive drive unit for motor vehicles. With this solution, taking into consideration invested financial resources, a user gets a cheap transportation. Since electrical energy would be used for driving a vehicle, pollution of the nature would be avoided, which we have with the use of vehicles which possess internal combustion engines in the form of exhaust gases and noise produced by work of exhaust system. By adding a module of electromotive drive unit for towing of motor vehicle on classical models of automobiles which are driven by internal combustion engines, we achieve cost effective and easy conversion to a version of an electrical automobile.
