L'invention concerne un système de génération de modèle numérique d'altitude, qui comprend : un module de réception destiné à segmenter la carte de contour d'entrée en un réseau irrégulier triangulé ; un module de marquage destiné à marquer chacune des zones triangulaires comme planes ou non planes ; un module de calcul de structure triangulaire TIN destiné à générer des lignes de contour secondaire par interpolation, à l'aide du réseau irrégulier triangulé dans la région non plane ; un module de génération de champ de vecteur destiné à calculer un champ de vecteur, dans lequel chaque vecteur représente un effet spatial de lignes de contour voisines pour la région plane ; un module de génération de ligne de contour secondaire destiné à déterminer une courbe sur laquelle les vecteurs ont la même amplitude ; et un module de connexion de ligne de contour secondaire destiné à générer une ligne de contour secondaire nouvellement intégrée par la création d'un tampon dans un voisinage d'une limite entre une région non plane et la région plane et par liaison lisse de la courbe dans la région non plane et la courbe dans la région plane dans le tampon.
