Description

워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 장치 및 방법
본 발명은 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 기초로 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
최근 컴퓨터와 네트워크 기술의 발전에 따라 디지털 컨텐츠의 불법적인 복제나 유통으로 인한 지적재산권 문제가 크게 대두되고 있다. 디지털 컨텐츠는 그 특성상 어려움없이 원본과 동일한 복사본의 제작이 가능하다. 이에 따라 저작자는 심각한 경제적 손실을 받을 수 있다. 따라서 불법적 복제를 방지하고 소유권을 효과적으로 보호하기 위한 저작권 보호 기술이 요구되고 있다.
디지털 컨텐츠를 보호하기 위한 기술로 암호화 기법이나 방화벽을 이용한 접근 제어 기술이 많이 발전해 왔다. 하지만 한번 암호가 풀린 디지털 컨텐츠는 불법적으로 복사되고 배포될 수 있다. 또한 접근이 허가된 사용자에 의해 악용되어 디지털 컨텐츠가 불법적으로 복사되고 배포될 수도 있다. 이에 따라 최근에는 디지털 컨텐츠 자체에 소유권 정보를 삽입하여 불법적인 복제나 배포를 막고, 효율적으로 저작권을 보호하기 위한 기술인 디지털 워터마킹에 관심이 집중되고 있다.
이러한 디지털 워터마킹은 각종 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 불법 복제 및 배포, 위조 등과 같이 상업적 도용을 근절시키기 위한 목적으로 저작권자의 고유 정보를 컨텐츠에 삽입하는 기술이다. 여기서 삽입되는 저작권자의 고유 정보를 워터마크(watermark)라고 한다.
그러나 이와 같은 디지털 워터마크는 디지털 컨텐츠 내에 삽입되는 것이어서, 워터마크가 삽입되지 않은 컨텐츠가 화면에 표시되는 경우, 화면을 캡쳐하거나 카메라를 통해 촬영함으로써 그 내용이 유출될 수 있는 문제가 있다. 또한 디지털 컨텐츠에 삽입된 워터마크는 해당 디지털 콘텐츠가 표시되는 영역의 크기에 따라 변하게 되어 해당 디지털 콘텐츠가 표시되는 영역의 크기 등이 변경되는 경우 워터마크가 훼손되어 표시되는 문제가 있다.
본 발명이 이루고자 하는 기술적 과제는, 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 기초로 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 장치 및 방법을 제공하는 데 있다.
상기의 기술적 과제를 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 워터마크 표시 장치는, 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션(application)이 실행되거나 문서가 열리는 경우 운영체제에서 발생되는 메시지를 상기 운영체제로부터 제공받거나 가로채는 감시부; 상기 감시부로부터 제공받은 상기 메시지 및 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 기초로 워터마크의 표시여부를 판단하는 워터마크 표시여부 판단부; 및 상기 워터마크 표시여부 판단부에 의해 상기 워터마크를 표시하는 것으로 판단된 경우, 상기 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한 워터마크 표시부;를 포함한다.
상기의 기술적 과제를 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 워터마크 표시 방법은, 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션이 실행되거나 문서가 열리는 경우 운영체제에서 발생되는 메시지를 상기 운영체제로부터 제공받거나 가로채는 단계; 상기 메시지 및 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 기초로 워터마크의 표시여부를 판단하는 단계; 및 상기 워터마크를 표시하는 것으로 판단한 경우, 상기 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 단계;를 포함한다.
상기의 기술적 과제를 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 컴퓨터로 읽을 수 있는 매체는 상기한 방법 중 어느 하나를 컴퓨터에 실행시키기 위한 프로그램을 기록한다.
본 발명에 따른 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 장치 및 방법에 의하면, 화면상에 워터마크를 표시함으로써, 해당 내용이 중요 내용 또는 비밀 내용이라는 점을 사용자에게 인지시킬 수 있다. 또한, 화면을 캡쳐하거나 카메라를 통해 촬영하더라도, 캡쳐된 이미지나 촬영된 영상 내에 워터마크가 표시됨으로써, 해당 내용이 중요 내용이나 비밀 내용이라는 점을 확인할 수 있다. 이에 따라, 보안에 대한 사용자의 경각심을 고취시킬 수 있다.
또한, 어플리케이션 창이나 문서에 대응되는 어플리케이션 창의 크기, 위치 등이 변하더라도 워터마크가 표시되는 창의 크기는 변하지 않게 되어, 워터마크가 훼손되지 않고 정상적인 크기로 화면상에 표시될 수 있다.
또한, 중요 내용 또는 비밀 내용이 실제 화면상에 표시된 경우에만 워터마크를 화면상에 표시함으로써, 보안에 대한 사용자의 경각심을 효과적으로 고취시킬 수 있다. 중요 내용 또는 비밀 내용이 실제 화면상에 표시되지 않는 경우에는 워터마크가 화면에서 사라짐으로서, 사용자의 작업을 방해하는 요소를 제거할 수 있다.

이하에서 첨부한 도면을 참조하여 본 발명에 따른 워터마크(watermark)를 화면상에 표시하는 장치 및 방법의 바람직한 실시예에 대해 상세하게 설명한다.
먼저, 도 1을 참조하여 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 장치(이하 '워터마크 표시 장치'라 함)에 대하여 상세하게 설명한다.
도 1은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 워터마크 표시 장치를 설명하기 위한 블록도이다.
도 1을 참조하면, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 워터마크 표시 장치(100)는 감시부(110), 워터마크 표시여부 판단부(130) 및 워터마크 표시부(150)를 포함하며, 통신망(200)을 통해 관리자 단말(300)에 연결된다.
워터마크 표시 장치(100)는 스크린 워터마크(screen watermark) 표시 정책을 기초로 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다. 여기서, 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책은 워터마크 표시대상 정보, 워터마크 표시 정보 등을 포함한다.
워터마크 표시대상 정보는 워터마크를 표시하는 대상인 운영체제(operating system : OS) 항목, 어플리케이션(application) 항목, 문서 항목 등을 포함한다. 즉, 워터마크 표시대상 정보는 운영체제, 특정 어플리케이션, 특정 문서 등과 같이 워터마크를 표시하는 대상 항목에 대한 정보를 포함한다. 예컨대, 워터마크 표시대상 정보 A가 운영체제 항목을 포함하는 경우, 운영체제가 구동/실행되는 경우 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다. 워터마크 표시대상 정보 B가 마이크로소프트사의 워드 항목를 포함하는 경우, 워드가 실행/동작되는 경우 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다. 워터마크 표시대상 정보 C가 'aaa.jpg' 항목을 포함하는 경우, 파일 'aaa,jpg'가 열리는 경우 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다.
여기서, 운영체제는 워터마크 표시 장치(100) 등과 같은 단말을 작동시키고 단말의 운영을 관리하여 응용 프로그램이 실행될 수 있는 환경을 제공하는 소프트웨어를 말한다. 운영체제에는 마이크로소프트사의 윈도우(windows), 애플사의 맥 OS, 구글사의 크롬 OS, 유닉스(unix), 리눅스(linux) 등이 있다. 어플리케이션은 운영체제 위에서 동작하는 소프트웨어로서, 문서 작성, 그림 편집, 사내 시스템 접속 등의 특정 작업을 하기 위해 작성된 소프트웨어를 말한다. 문서는 어플리케이션에 의해 작성된 파일을 말한다.
또한, 워터마크 표시대상 정보는 워터마크를 표시하는 대상인 어플리케이션의 유형 항목, 문서의 유형 항목에 대한 정보를 포함할 수 있다. 여기서, 어플리케이션의 유형이란 마이크로소프사의 워드, 한글과컴퓨터사의 한글, 메모장 등과 같이 서로 동일한 종류(문서 작성 어플리케이션)에 속하는 어플리케이션을 총칭하는 것으로서, 동일한 기능을 제공하는 어플리케이션 그룹을 말한다. 그리고, 문서의 유형이란 특정 확장자(예컨대, 'jpg' 등)를 가지는 문서를 총칭하는 것으로서, 동일한 어플리케이션을 통해 해당 문서를 오픈할 수 있는 문서 그룹을 말한다. 예컨대, 워터마크 표시대상 정보 D가 문서 작성 어플리케이션 항목을 포함하는 경우, 마이크로소프트사의 워드, 한글과컴퓨터사의 한글, 메모장 등과 같은 문서 작성 어플리케이션이 실행/동작되는 경우 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다. 워터마크 표시대상 정보 E가 확장자 'jpg'로 된 문서 항목을 포함하는 경우, 확장자가 'jpg'인 파일이 열리는 경우 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다.
이때, 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함된 각각의 항목은 워터마크를 표시하는 일시(기간, 요일, 시간대 등)에 대한 정보가 대응될 수 있다. 예컨대, 워터마크 표시대상 정보 E가 마이크로소프트사의 워드(주말) 항목을 포함하는 경우, 주중에 워드가 실행/동작되는 경우에는 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하지 않고 주말에 워드가 실행/동작되는 경우에 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다. 워터마크 표시대상 정보 F가 마이크로스프트사의 워드(주중 오전 9시 ~ 오후 6시) 항목을 포함하는 경우, 주말, 주중 오전 9시 이전 및 주중 오후 6시 이후에 워드가 실행/동작되는 경우에는 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하지 않고 주중 오전 9시에서 오후 6시 사이에 워드가 실행/동작되는 경우에는 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다. 워터마크 표시대상 정보 G가 'bbb.pdf'(2011.07.01 ~ 2011.10.31) 항목을 포함하는 경우, 2011.07.01 이전 및 2011.10.31 이후에 'bbb.pdf'가 열리는 경우에는 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하지 않고 2011.07.01에서 2011.10.31 사이에 'bbb.pdf'가 열리는 경우에 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다.
워터마크 표시 정보는 워터마크의 내용, 워터마크의 표시 크기, 워터마크의 표시 위치 등을 포함한다. 여기서, 워터마크의 내용은 화면상에 워터마크로 표시되는 내용으로서, '대외비', '비밀', 'confidential', 'secret' 등의 문구, 회사명, 회사 로고 등을 말한다. 워터마크의 표시 크기는 화면상에 표시되는 워터마크의 크기로서, 가로 길이, 세로 길이 등을 말한다. 워터마크의 표시 위치는 화면상에 표시되는 워터마크의 위치로서, 좌측 상단 모서리, 좌측 하단 모서리, 우측 상단 모서리, 우측 하단 모서리 등의 좌표 값을 말한다.
이러한 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책은 관리자 단말(300)로부터 제공받아 워터마크 표시 장치(100)에 기 저장되어 있거나, 워터마크 표시 장치(100)의 구동, 즉, 운영체제의 구동 시 또는 사용자가 로그인(log-in) 시에 관리자 단말(300)로부터 제공받을 수 있다. 물론, 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책은 사용자에 의해 설정될 수도 있다.
또한, 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책은 사용자별로 상이하게 설정될 수 있다. 즉, 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책은 로그인 시에 사용되는 사용자 정보에 대응된다. 예컨대, 단말을 사용자 A 및 사용자 B가 이용하는 경우, 사용자 A가 해당 단말에 로그인 시에 사용하는 계정과 사용자 B가 해당 단말에 로그인 시에 사용하는 계정별로 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책이 대응된다. 이에 따라 사용자 A가 로그인되어 있는 경우에는 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책 A를 기초로 워터마크 표시여부를 판단하고, 사용자 B가 로그인되어 있는 경우에는 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책 B를 기초로 워터마크 표시여부를 판단한다.
워터마크 표시 장치(100)는 데스크톱 컴퓨터뿐만 아니라 노트북 컴퓨터, 워크스테이션, 팜톱(palmtop) 컴퓨터, UMPC(ultra mobile personal computer), 태블릿 PC, 개인 휴대 정보 단말기(personal digital assistant, PDA), 웹 패드, 휴대전화 등과 같이 메모리 수단을 구비하고 마이크로 프로세서를 탑재하여 연산 능력을 갖춘 단말기로 이루어질 수 있다. 즉, 종래의 단말기에 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 워터마크 표시여부 판단 기능, 워터마크 표시 기능 등을 수행하는 워터마크 표시 모듈(도시하지 않음)이 설치되어 관련 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 이 경우, 워터마크 표시 장치(100)는 워터마크 표시 모듈이 설치된 단말기를 말한다.
관리자 단말(300)은 워터마크 표시 장치(100)에 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 제공한다. 이때, 관리자 단말(300)은 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 요청하는 워터마크 표시 장치(100)의 식별 정보 또는 사용자 정보에 따라 해당하는 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 제공할 수 있다. 여기서, 워터마크 표시 장치(100)의 식별 정보는 맥 주소(MAC address), IP(internet protocol) 주소 등을 말한다. 사용자 정보는 워터마크 표시 장치(100)에 로그인한 사용자의 식별기호(identification : ID) 등과 같은 사용자 계정 정보를 말한다.
통신망(200)은 구내 정보 통신망(local area network : LAN), 도시권 통신망(metropolitan area network : MAN), 광역 통신망(wide area network : WAN), 인터넷 등을 포함하는 데이터 통신망뿐만 아니라 전화망 등을 포함할 수 있고, 유선과 무선을 가리지 않으며, 어떠한 통신 방식을 사용하더라도 상관없다.
이하에서 도 1 내지 도 6을 참조하여 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 워터마크 표시 장치(100)에 대해 보다 자세히 설명한다.
도 2는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 워터마크 표시여부 판단 과정을 설명하기 위한 도면이고, 도 3 내지 도 6은 각각 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 워터마크 표시의 일례를 나타내는 도면이다.
감시부(110)는 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션(application)이 실행되거나 문서가 열리는 경우 운영체제에서 발생되는 메시지를 감시한다. 즉, 운영체제가 구동, 즉, 부팅(booting)되는 경우, 감시부(110)가 운영체제에 등록된다. 이후, 사용자의 조작에 의해 운영체제에서 발생된 메시지를 운영체제로부터 제공받거나 가로채고, 메시지를 워터마크 표시여부 판단부(130)에 제공한다. 예컨대, 운영체제가 마이크로소프트사의 윈도우인 경우, CBT(computer based training) Hook chain, WMI(windows management instrumentation) 등에 감시부(110)를 등록한다. 이후, 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션의 열기(open), 최소화(minimize), 이전 크기로(restore), 닫기(close) 및 문서의 열기, 닫기 등이 발생된 경우, 감시부(110)는 운영체제로부터 어플리케이션 생성 메시지, 어플리케이션 종료 메시지 등과 같은 메시지를 제공받거나 가로챈다.
감시부(110)는 운영체제로부터 제공받거나 가로챈 메시지를 워터마크 표시여부 판단부(130)에 제공한다. 또한, 감시부(110)는 운영체제가 구동, 즉 부팅된 경우 운영체제 구동중인 상태라는 메시지를 워터마크 표시여부 판단부(130)에 제공한다.
워터마크 표시여부 판단부(130)는 감시부(110)로부터 제공받은 메시지 및 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 기초로 워터마크의 표시여부를 판단한다. 즉, 워터마크 표시여부 판단부(130)는 감시부(110)로부터 제공받은 메시지를 이용하여 운영체제 항목, 사용자의 조작에 의해 실행된 어플리케이션이나 열린 문서에 대응되는 항목 등이 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함되는지 판단한다. 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함된 경우, 워터마크 표시여부 판단부(130)는 워터마크를 표시하는 것으로 판단한다.
예컨대, 워터마크 표시대상 정보 1이 운영체제 항목을 포함하는 경우, 운영체제가 구동/동작 중인 경우 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 것으로 판단한다. 워터마크 표시대상 정보 2가 마이크로소프트사의 워드 항목을 포함하는 경우, 사용자의 조작에 의해 워드가 실행/동작되는 경우 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 것으로 판단한다. 워터마크 표시대상 정보 3이 'aaa.jpg' 항목을 포함하는 경우, 사용자의 조작에 의해 파일 'aaa,jpg'가 열리는 경우 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 것으로 판단한다. 이때, 문서 파일 1(예컨대, '111.doc')과 문서 파일 2(예컨대, '222.doc')가 서로 동일한 유형의 문서 파일(예컨대, 마이크로소프트사의 워드 등)이고, 문서 파일 1('111.doc') 항목과 이에 대응되는 어플리케이션(마이크로소프트사의 워드) 항목이 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함되어 있고 문서 파일 2('222.doc') 항목이 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함되어 있지 않은 경우, 사용자의 조작에 의해 문서 파일 1('111.doc')이 열리는 경우에는 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 것으로 판단하고, 문서 파일 2('222.doc')가 열리는 경우에는 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하지 않는 것으로 판단한다. 즉, 워터마크 표시대상 정보에도 우선순위가 존재하여 우선순위에 따라 워터마크 디스플레이 여부를 결정한다.
도 2를 참조하면, 어플리케이션의 실행, 문서의 열기 등과 같은 사용자의 조작이 있으면(과정 ①), 운영체제는 메시지를 감시부(110)에 전달하거나 감시부(110)가 메시지를 가로채고(과정 ②), 워터마크 표시여부 판단부(130)는 감시부(110)로부터 제공받은 메시지 및 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 기초로 워터마크 표시여부를 판단한다(과정 ③).
워터마크 표시부(150)는 워터마크 표시여부 판단부(130)에 의해 워터마크를 표시하는 것으로 판단된 경우 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다. 예컨대, 도 3을 참조하면, 사용자에 조작에 의해 어플리케이션이 실행되는 경우, 어플리케이션에 대응되는 창(AP1)이 화면상에 표시되고, 해당 어플리케이션이 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함된 경우, 워터마크 표시부(150)는 워터마크(SWM1)를 화면상에 표시한다.
이와 같이, 화면상에 워터마크를 표시함으로써, 해당 내용이 중요 내용 또는 비밀 내용이라는 점을 사용자에게 인지시킬 수 있다. 또한, 화면을 캡쳐하거나 카메라를 통해 화면을 촬영하더라도, 캡쳐된 이미지나 촬영된 영상 내에 워터마크가 표시됨으로써, 해당 내용이 중요 내용이나 비밀 내용이라는 점을 확인할 수 있다. 이에 따라, 보안에 대한 사용자의 경각심을 고취시킬 수 있다.
워터마크 표시부(150)는 사용자의 조작에 의해 실행된 어플리케이션이나 열린 문서에 대응되는 창과는 독립적인 창으로 워터마크를 화면상에 표시할 수 있다. 이때, 워터마크 표시부(150)는 사용자의 조작에 의해 실행된 어플리케이션이나 열린 문서에 대응되는 창의 내부 영역에 워터마크가 표시되는 창을 표시할 수 있다.
즉, 워터마크 표시부(150)는 사용자의 조작에 의해 실행된 어플리케이션이나 열린 문서에 대응되는 창의 크기 또는 위치가 변경되는 경우, 워터마크가 표시되는 창의 크기 및 위치는 그대로 유지할 수 있다. 예컨대, 도 4를 참조하면, 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션이 실행되는 경우, 어플리케이션에 대응되는 창(AP2)이 화면상에 표시되고, 해당 어플리케이션이 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함된 경우 워터마크(SWM2)를 화면상에 표시한다. 이후, 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션 창(AP2)의 크기, 위치 등이 변경되더라도, 워터마크(SWM2)는 크기, 위치 등을 그대로 유지하면서 화면에 표시된다.
한편, 워터마크 표시부(150)는 사용자의 조작에 의해 실행된 어플리케이션이나 열린 문서에 대응되는 창의 크기 또는 위치가 변경되는 경우, 워터마크가 표시되는 창의 크기는 그대로 유지하면서 위치를 변경할 수 있다. 예컨대, 도 5를 참조하면, 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션이 실행되는 경우, 어플리케이션에 대응되는 창(AP3)이 화면상에 표시되고, 해당 어플리케이션이 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함된 경우 워터마크(SWM3)를 화면상에 표시한다. 이후, 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션 창(AP3)의 크기, 위치 등이 변경되면, 워터마크(SWM3)는 그 크기를 그대로 유지하면서 위치만 변경된다.
이와 같이 어플리케이션 창이나 문서에 대응되는 어플리케이션 창의 크기, 위치 등이 변하더라도 워터마크가 표시되는 창의 크기는 변하지 않게 된다. 이에 따라, 워터마크가 훼손되지 않고 정상적인 크기로 화면상에 표시될 수 있다.
워터마크 표시부(150)는 사용자의 조작에 의해 실행된 어플리케이션이나 열린 문서에 대응되는 어플리케이션이 동작 중인 상태에서 실행된 어플리케이션이나 열린 문서에 대응되는 창이 화면에서 사라지는 경우, 화면상에 표시된 워터마크를 사라지게 할 수 있다. 예컨대, 도 6을 참조하면, 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함된 어플리케이션이 사용자의 조작에 의해 실행됨에 따라 어플리케이션에 대응되는 창(AP4)과 워터마크(SWM4)가 화면상에 표시된 상태에서, 최소화 등과 같은 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션 창(AP4)이 화면에서 사라지면, 화면상에 표시된 워터마크(SWM4)도 사라진다. 이후, 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션 창(AP4)이 화면에 다시 표시되는 경우, 워터마크(SWM4)도 화면상에 다시 표시된다. 즉, 어플리케이션 창(AP4)이 화면에 표시되는 한, 워터마크(SWM4)도 화면 이동은 가능하나, 숨기거나 화면 박으로 이동시킬 수 없다.
이와 같이 중요 내용 또는 비밀 내용이 실제 화면상에 표시된 경우에만 워터마크를 화면상에 표시함으로써, 보안에 대한 사용자의 경각심을 효과적으로 고취시킬 수 있다. 또한 중요 내용 또는 비밀 내용이 실제 화면상에 표시되지 않는 경우에는 워터마크가 화면에서 사라짐으로써, 사용자의 작업을 방해하는 요소를 제거할 수 있다.
워터마크 표시부(150)는 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책에 포함된 워터마크 표시 정보를 기초로 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다. 즉, 워터마크 표시부(150)는 워터마크 표시 정보에 포함된 워터마크의 내용, 워터마크의 표시 크기, 워터마크의 표시 위치 등을 이용하여, 화면상에서 해당 위치에 해당 크기로 워터마크를 표시할 수 있다. 예컨대, 워터마크 표시 정보가 워터마크의 내용인 '비밀', 워터마크의 표시 크기인 '가로 10cm 및 세로 5cm' 및 워터마크의 표시 위치인 '(10, 10)'을 포함하는 경우, 단어 '비밀'을 화면 좌측 상단 모서리를 기준점으로 하여 '(10, 10)' 위치에 가로 10cm 및 세로 5cm 크기로 표시한다.
워터마크 표시부(150)는 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책이 사용자별로 상이하게 설정되어 있는 경우, 사용자에 대응되는 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 이용하여 워터마크를 화면상에 표시할 수 있다. 즉, 워터마크 표시부(150)는 사용자별로 워터마크의 내용, 워터마크가 표시되는 위치나 크기 등을 다르게 할 수 있다. 예컨대, 사용자 1의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션이 실행되는 경우 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책 1을 기초로 위치 1에 크기 1을 가지는 워터마크 1을 화면상에 표시하고, 사용자 2의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션이 실행되는 경우 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책 2를 기초로 위치 2에 크기 2를 가지는 워터마크 2를 화면상에 표시한다.
그러면, 도 7을 참조하여 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 워터마크 표시 장치(100)의 동작에 대해 자세히 설명한다.
도 7은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 워터마크 표시 과정을 설명하기 위한 흐름도이다.
사용자의 조작에 의해 워터마크 표시 장치(100)에 전원이 들어오는 경우, 워터마크 표시 장치(100)에 설치된 운영체제가 구동되고(S710), 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 로드한다(S730).
이후, 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 기초로 워터마크 표시여부를 판단한다(S750). 즉, 운영체제 항목, 사용자의 조작에 의해 실행된 어플리케이션이나 열린 문서에 대응되는 항목 등이 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함되는지 판단한다.
워터마크를 표시하는 것으로 판단한 경우(S750-Y), 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한다(S770). 이때, 워터마크를 독립적인 창으로 화면상에 표시할 수 있다. 또한, 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책에 포함된 워터마크 표시 정보를 기초로 워터마크를 화면상에 표시할 수 있다. 아울러, 어플리케이션 또는 문서에 대응되는 어플리케이션이 동작 중인 상태에서 어플리케이션 창이나 문서에 대응되는 창이 화면에서 사라지는 경우, 화면상에 표시된 워터마크를 사라지게 할 수 있다. 반면, 워터마크를 표시하지 않는 것으로 판단한 경우(S750-N), 사용자의 조작을 기달리고 사용자의 조작이 있는 경우 워터마크 표시여부를 판단한다(S750).
본 발명은 또한 컴퓨터로 읽을 수 있는 기록 매체에 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 코드로서 구현하는 것이 가능하다. 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 기록 매체는 컴퓨터 장치에 의하여 읽혀질 수 있는 데이터가 저장되는 모든 종류의 기록 장치를 포함한다. 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 기록 매체의 예로는 롬(ROM), 램(RAM), CD-ROM, 자기 테이프, 플로피 디스크, 광 데이터 저장장치 등이 있으며, 또한 캐리어 웨이브(인터넷을 통한 전송)의 형태로 구현되는 것도 포함한다. 또한, 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 기록 매체는 유무선 통신망으로 연결된 컴퓨터 장치에 분산되어 분산 방식으로 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 코드가 저장되고 실행될 수 있다.
이상에서 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 대하여 상세하게 설명하였지만 본 발명은 상술한 특정의 바람직한 실시예에 한정되지 아니하며, 다음의 청구범위에서 청구하는 본 발명의 요지를 벗어남이 없이 당해 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진자라면 누구든지 다양한 변형 실시가 가능한 것은 물론이고, 그와 같은 변경은 청구범위 기재의 범위 내에 있게 된다.

Claims (19)

  1. 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션(application)이 실행되거나 문서가 열리는 경우 운영체제에서 발생되는 메시지를 상기 운영체제로부터 제공받거나 가로채는 감시부;
    상기 감시부로부터 제공받은 상기 메시지 및 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 기초로 워터마크의 표시여부를 판단하는 워터마크 표시여부 판단부; 및
    상기 워터마크 표시여부 판단부에 의해 상기 워터마크를 표시하는 것으로 판단된 경우, 상기 워터마크를 화면상에 표시한 워터마크 표시부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 장치.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책은 워터마크를 표시하는 대상인 운영체제 항목, 어플리케이션 항목 및 문서 항목 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 워터마크 표시대상 정보를 포함하고,
    상기 워터마크 표시여부 판단부는 상기 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션이 실행되거나 문서가 열리는 경우 운영체제에서 발생되는 상기 메시지를 이용하여 상기 실행된 어플리케이션이나 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 항목이 상기 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함되는지 판단하고, 상기 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함된 경우 상기 워터마크를 표시하는 것으로 판단하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 장치.
  3. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책은 워터마크의 내용, 워터마크의 표시 크기 및 워터마크의 표시 위치 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 워터마크 표시 정보를 포함하며,
    상기 워터마크 표시부는 상기 워터마크 표시 정보를 기초로 상기 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 장치.
  4. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 워터마크 표시부는 상기 실행된 어플리케이션이나 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 창과는 독립적인 창으로 상기 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 장치.
  5. 제 4항에 있어서,
    상기 워터마크 표시부는 상기 워터마크가 표시되는 창을 상기 실행된 어플리케이션이나 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 창의 내부 영역에 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 장치.
  6. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 워터마크 표시부는 상기 실행된 어플리케이션 또는 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 어플리케이션이 동작 중인 상태에서 상기 실행된 어플리케이션이나 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 창이 화면에서 사라지는 경우, 화면상에 표시된 상기 워터마크를 사라지게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 장치.
  7. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책은 상기 사용자별로 상이하게 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 장치.
  8. 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션이 실행되거나 문서가 열리는 경우 운영체제에서 발생되는 메시지를 상기 운영체제로부터 제공받거나 가로채는 단계;
    상기 메시지 및 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책을 기초로 워터마크의 표시여부를 판단하는 단계; 및
    상기 워터마크를 표시하는 것으로 판단한 경우, 상기 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 방법.
  9. 제 8항에 있어서,
    상기 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책은 워터마크를 표시하는 대상인 운영체제 항목, 어플리케이션 항목 및 문서 항목 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 워터마크 표시대상 정보를 포함하고,
    상기 워터마크 표시여부 판단 단계는,
    상기 사용자의 조작에 의해 어플리케이션이 실행되거나 문서가 열리는 경우 운영체제에서 발생되는 상기 메시지를 이용하여 상기 실행된 어플리케이션이나 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 항목이 상기 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함되는지 판단하는 단계; 및
    상기 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함된 경우 상기 워터마크를 표시하는 것으로 판단하는 단계;를 포함하는 것으로 판단하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 방법.
  10. 제 9항에 있어서,
    상기 워터마크 표시대상 정보는 워터마크를 표시하는 대상인 어플리케이션의 유형 항목 또는 문서의 유형 항목을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 방법.
  11. 제 9항 또는 제 10항에 있어서,
    상기 워터마크 표시대상 정보에 포함된 상기 각각의 항목은 워터마크를 표시하는 일시에 대한 정보가 대응되는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 방법.
  12. 제 8항에 있어서,
    상기 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책은 워터마크의 내용, 워터마크의 표시 크기 및 워터마크의 표시 위치 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 워터마크 표시 정보를 포함하며,
    상기 워터마크 표시 단계에서 상기 워터마크 표시 정보를 기초로 상기 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 방법.
  13. 제 8항에 있어서,
    상기 워터마크 표시 단계에서 상기 실행된 어플리케이션이나 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 창과는 독립적인 창으로 상기 워터마크를 화면상에 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 방법.
  14. 제 13항에 있어서,
    상기 워터마크 표시 단계에서 상기 워터마크가 표시되는 창을 상기 실행된 어플리케이션이나 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 창의 내부 영역에 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 방법.
  15. 제 13항 또는 제 14항에 있어서,
    상기 워터마크 표시 단계에서 상기 실행된 어플리케이션이나 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 창의 크기 또는 위치가 변경되는 경우, 상기 워터마크가 표시되는 창의 크기 및 위치는 그대로 유지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 방법.
  16. 제 13항 또는 제 14항에 있어서,
    상기 워터마크 표시 단계에서 상기 실행된 어플리케이션이나 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 창의 크기 또는 위치가 변경되는 경우, 상기 워터마크가 표시되는 창의 크기는 그대로 유지하면서 위치를 변경하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 방법.
  17. 제 8항에 있어서,
    상기 워터마크 표시 단계에서 상기 실행된 어플리케이션 또는 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 어플리케이션이 동작 중인 상태에서 상기 실행된 어플리케이션이나 상기 열린 문서에 대응되는 창이 화면에서 사라지는 경우, 화면상에 표시된 상기 워터마크를 사라지게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 방법.
  18. 제 8항에 있어서,
    상기 스크린 워터마크 표시 정책은 상기 사용자별로 상이하게 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 워터마크 표시 방법.
  19. 제 8항 내지 제 10항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 워터마크 표시 방법을 컴퓨터에서 실행시키기 위한 프로그램을 기록한 컴퓨터로 읽을 수 있는 기록 매체.
