Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method of forming a multilayer woven fabric comprising first and second layers in a single weaving operation, the embodiments further comprising forming the first and second layers whereby a common layer is provided that surrounds the first and second layers to form a pocket, further comprising forming the textile whereby at least the first layer comprises a phase change material and the second layer is substantially water repellent. The single weaving operation may be performed on a jacquard loom.
