Abstract

본 발명은 전지 캔 내부에서 전극 조립체의 수납 공간을 늘리면서도 전극 조립체의 유동을 억제할 수 있는 이차 전지 제조 방법을 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 이차 전지 제조 방법은, 전지 캔에 비딩부가 구비되지 않는 이차 전지를 제조하는 방법으로서, 외주면에 외부 방향으로 돌출된 외부 돌출부가 구비된 전지 캔이 마련되는 단계; 상기 전지 캔에 전극 조립체가 삽입되는 단계; 및 상기 전지 캔의 외부 돌출부에 상기 전지 캔의 내부 방향으로 압력이 인가되어 상기 전지 캔의 내주면에 내부 돌출부가 형성되는 단계를 포함한다.
