Abstract

본 발명에 따른, 복수의 이종망(heterogenous networks)들을 선택적으로 액세스할 수 있는 이동통신 단말기는, 고정된 값을 갖는 내부 주소를 목적지로 하여 생성된 로컬(local) 통신소켓을 통해 이동통신 단말기에서 실행되는 어플리케이션과의 데이터 교환을 수행하기 위한 프로세스(process)와, 상기 복수의 이종망들중 어느 하나의 통신망에서 할당된 접속 IP주소를 소스(source) 주소로 하고 외부 주소를 목적지로 한 외향(outward) 통신소켓을 적어도 하나 이상 생성하고 그 생성된 외향 통신소켓을 통해 상기 외부 주소의 서버와 데이터 교환을 수행하기 위한 프로세스를 포함하여 구성된다. 그리고, 상기 로컬 통신소켓과 상기 외향 통신소켓은 상호 연계된 관계에 있는 통신소켓간에 데이터 교환이 이루어진다.
