Abstract

La présente invention concerne une composition servant à repousser les oiseaux sauvages, contenant de l'huile de créosote et du goudron de bois, et un procédé permettant de repousser les oiseaux sauvages. Plus précisément, l'invention concerne un produit solide servant à repousser les oiseaux par la seule stimulation du sens de l'odorat des oiseaux, à la différence des répulsifs pour oiseaux précédemment développés. L'invention permet de maximiser une odeur de brûlé, qui contient des composants faisant fuir les oiseaux, par le mélange d'une huile de créosote et de goudron de bois extraits du hêtre. En outre, la composition selon l'invention est conçue pour dégager en continu une odeur de brûlé qui contient des composants faisant fuir les oiseaux. La composition est préparée en mélangeant de l'éthanol (ayant une pression de vapeur élevée) avec l'huile de créosote et le goudron de bois (jouant le rôle de liquides répulsifs et ayant une pression de vapeur basse), ce qui permet d'améliorer remarquablement l'effet repoussant les oiseaux. La composition contient en outre un silicate, la sépiolite, jouant le rôle de liant d'absorption et dans lequel les répulsifs sont volatilisés. La composition contient en outre un anhydride phtalique qui présente un effet temporaire repoussant les oiseaux et qui joue le rôle d'agent améliorant la volatilisation. L'anhydride phtalique se présente sous forme solide. La composition selon l'invention peut être utilisée pour repousser tous les oiseaux sauvages, tels que les pies, les faisans, les tourterelles, les étourneaux, les bulbuls à oreillons bruns, entre autres, qui endommagent les vergers.
