Abstract

본 발명은 내연기관 구동식 유압기계 및 이를 위한 공기과급기에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 공기과급기는, 내연기관과, 작동유체를 공급하는 유압유닛과, 상기 유압유닛으로부터의 작동유체에 의해 동작하는 적어도 하나의 유압작동부를 갖는 내연기관 구동식 유압기계용 공기과급기에 있어서, 상기 유압유닛과 상기 유압작동부를 순환하는 작동유체 배관에서 상기 작동유체를 분기하여 인출하는 분기부와; 상기 분기부로부터의 작동유체를 공급받는 유압모터와; 상기 유압모터에 의해 공기를 압축하여 압축공기를 상기 내연기관에 공급하는 공기압축기와; 상기 분기부와 상기 유압모터 사이에 개재되는 유량조절밸브를 포함하는 것을 기술적 요지로 한다. 이에 따라, 유압작동부의 구동을 위한 작동유체의 일부 혹은 잔여 에너지를 이용하여 공기과급기용 공기를 압축하므로 압축 능률을 극대화할 수 있으며, 내연기관의 동작 속도에 따라 과급 공기의 압축도를 제어하므로 과급 효율을 최적화할 수 있다는 효과를 제공한다.
