Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Formkern (2) zur Herstellung von Formteilen aus Kunststoff oder niedrig schmelzenden Metalllegierungen, die mit zumindest einer zu deren Innenraum hin offenen und sich in Richtung auf die Außenwand erstreckenden Vertiefung versehen sind. Der Formkern (2) umfasst mehrere in Umfangsrichtung in einer Segmentreihe hintereinander angeordnete Segmente (7), welche mittels einer Verstellvorrichtung (8) von einer Arbeitsstellung in eine Freigabestellung verstellbar sind. Die Verstellvorrichtung (8) umfasst einen gemeinsamen Tragkörper (19) mit daran feststehend angeordneten, stabfbrmig ausgebildeten sowie in Umfangsrichtung hintereinander angeordneten Stützelementen (18). Zwischen unmittelbar hintereinander angeordneten Stützelementen (18) ist ein Freiraum (28) ausgebildet. Jedes der einzelnen Segmente (7) weist an einer von der äußeren Stirnfläche (9) abgewendeten Seite eine Stützfläche (17) auf, wobei jedes der Segmente (7) in der Arbeitsstellung mit seiner Stützfläche (17) an jeweils einer Anlagefläche (46) der Stützelemente (18) in radialer Richtung abgestützt ist.
