Definitions

  • the invention relates to a post retainer, post retaining system and method of retaining a post at a variable depth.
  • the invention is particularly suited to a post retainer that can be used in multiples to allow for retention of a post to various depths.
  • a post retainer comprising: a sleeve having a tapered internal profile; a top flange extending from an end of the sleeve; and

  • At least one securing ring may be attached to the internal profile of the sleeve and where, when the second post retainer is received in the post retainer, the at least one securing ring creates an interference fit between the two post retainers.
