Abstract
본 발명은 개인용컴퓨터에 절전관리 프로그램을 설치한 상태에서 마우스에 마련된 절전 버튼을 사용자가 간단히 눌러주는 것만으로 개인용컴퓨터가 이를 인식하여 절전모드로 진입하고 그 이후에는 각종의 절전효율 관리를 절전관리 프로그램에서 실행하며 추가로 사용자의 편이를 실현하기 위하여 마우스에 각종 부가적인 구성을 일체화한 절전관리 마우스 시스템 기술을 개시한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 컴퓨터에 부착된 여러 장치 중에서 사용자가 가장 빈번하게 사용하는 마우스에 설치된 절전 버튼을 누르는 것만으로 개인용컴퓨터가 절전모드로 즉시 진입할 수 있는 기능을 제공함으로써 사용자가 한동안 자리를 비우는 시간에 불필요한 전기의 사용을 최소화할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한, 컴퓨터 절전관리를 효과적으로 달성할 수 있도록 절전관리 프로그램에서 추가적인 기능을 실현하고 마우스에도 구성을 개선하였으며, 본 발명을 활용하여 획득한 절전 효과를 즉시 확인할 수 있어 에너지 절약에 대한 사람들의 관심을 제고할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
