Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Kohlenstoff- oder Graphitwerkstoffen für nukleare Anwendungen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Glühprozesse, Graphitierungsprozesse und der Abkühlprozess unter Vakuumbedingungen oder unter Inertgasatmosphäre oder unter Kohlenmonoxid-Atmosphäre oder unter Wasserstoffatmosphäre durchgeführt wird, sowie mit dem Verfahren hergestellte Kohlenstoff- oder Graphitwerkstoffe um die Bildung von Radiokarbon über Aktivierungsprozesse von Stickstoff zu minimieren.
